Battery commodity (telecom exec ret.): Talking to the Head of Vodafone (VF) Partner Markets Europe yesterday Two interesting nuggets #1 Productization has been moved to Group Level making this a big strategic move beyond just signing up another channel partner that would have been hosted directly in partner markets. #2 Partner market fees for smaller telcos to join the VF alliance have taken a huge hit over last 5 years. With VF having sold off another 2 major markets (Spain, Italy) the leverage in the Global Roaming business is being depleted and this is where the AST partnership comes in adding major weight to the volume of traffic generated within the VF footprint which increases the bargaining power for VF in negotiating Global roaming agreements. Side Note: VF currently has roaming agreements with close to 200 MNO’s making it one of the biggest wholesale players in the industry. Few investors will have understood the magnitude of this G2M for ASTS going forward.
While of course they add the perfunctory, "well out network is perfect, but where it's imperfect.." The key things are how they mention "seamless." They confirm 'real time high speed data.' He keeps mentioning how seamless the service is.
New Zealand is now a place for us. With >1MM subscribers, the Company has 20% market share.
"As part of this initiative, 2degrees will invest in the development of its own dedicated ground station in Aotearoa, reinforcing our commitment to providing innovative solutions that expand connectivity across the country"
I point out the last part b/c FUDsters try to pounce and say ASTS gets stuck with the bill. They don't.
"It’s a multi-million dollar commitment,” a spokesperson said."
This is what a channel partnership looks like. Other people spend money to sell your services into applications and customers that you otherwise would not reach efficiently

Wait, what the? Who had this on their bingo card? A T-Mobile advertisement for Starlink causes $ASTS to nearly double? Lol. Stocks are crazy. What's even funnier is that it flushed out that one of the great tech titans revealed he owned $ASTS. We are not alone.
It starts. We'll get BAML soon. That could fire up a lot of long only buying and add significant credibility. Cantor notes that the #Spacemob is healthy and an asset. True. MNOs are free to use us. We love you. A waffle party went a long way toward getting our allegiance.
