1) Many X handles are not linking to the source documents in the #JFKFilesRelease, here is the source unredacted testimony of James Angleton of which lots of screenshots were circulated but no way to see the original.

2) Page 5-6, Angleton mentions the Safe Haven program. They were not "refugees," they were spies.

3) The British were directing things so that immigration to Israel by Italians was prevented. Historical record shows this was suspected, but now it fact. Angleton was involved in Italian Jews emigrating to Israel. #JFKFilesRelease

9) Here Angleton was asked if the handling of his "Israel account" was the reason he left the CIA. He meandered a while, but the reason comes out: he refused to information share with "the arabs."

10) And so here on page 18 we see the extent of operations with Israel were mainly based on using a spy network of Jews in Russia to report on the Soviets via Israel.

11) Here we get an insight into the structure of Angelton's team.

12) Page 24 is into the nuclear issues with Israel. Here Angleton admits a discussion of a transfer of technology took place, Angleton here admits helping the Israelis acquire uranium.

13) Angleton tries to suggest that there was a "cross plant" in the agency. The discussion goes back and forth for a long while, but the questions remain skeptical the agency did not have a role.

14) Moving to P35, Angleton mentions his successor. Here is a public record on George Kalaris. By this point Angleton was being viewed negatively in the agency, we understand the reasons better now, part of a shadow government was operating in the CIA at his desk.

15) This is a guess, P38, but I think Angleton is telling the cover story here for how Israel got its hands on technology thru the CIA. He labels it "signals intelligence" but reading between the lines, there was ALSO nuclear tech.

16) Same idea here. Angleton admits they got sophisticated tech and "did more with it"

17) Since the evasiveness was apparent to the comittee, they pressed Angleton further, and he gave a cant confirm or deny answer, then evaded a question about Israel and nuclear secrets, keeping it at "very sensitive problems."

18) They came back to the nuclear issue, I was not aware the Eisenhower administration was helping Israel develop an atomic weapon. When asked, Angleton denied directing the effort.

19) Here is one riddle solved, a key name in the transfer of nuclear technology to Israel. Hans Bethe.

20) Angleton goes on to deny there was a transfer of US stock fissionable material to Israel. And then on page 98 wants to go off the record with information Israeli attempts to acquire nuclear secrets, we can infer there were.

21) Later, towards the closing he makes some statements about the now dead Hoover.

22) Transitioning off the interview now into who James Angleton was, and was he generally aware someone like Nagell was prepared to kill Oswald? I doubt it. I believe it was outsourced so the agency had no traceable hand in it.

So we know a rogue CIA faction exists.

What is not clear is if Angleton's network was being used behind his back, or was he part of it.

The mechanics remain elusive until you consider James Angleton's network (not Angleton per se) being the missing link.

23) From my reading of this transcript, a network of Jews were moved around the world in a spy network.

One of those networks existed in the U.S. and Jack (Ruby) Rubinstein was somehow connected to it.

Angleton goes off the record in the interview when the topic of Israeli spy activity in the U.S. comes up. If there was an attempt to gain nuclear secrets, the most protected secrets out there, then the spy network was funded, powerful and advanced.

This Israeli capability is shown in this document from Chicago related to Cubans, and I believe the #JFKFilesRelease are extremely valuable so far in piecing all this together. They were quoted:

"We now have plenty of money - our new backers are Jews - as soon as 'we' (or they) take care of Kennedy."
