1) As with everything in this iteration of Trump, the changes are coming so rapidly the douchenozzle DemoKKKrats can't keep up. Two months AFTER Elon Musk's DOGE recommended its major cuts, the DemoKKKrats finally organized some marches.

2) Too little, way too late.
3) BTW, if you enjoy and benefit from these threads, "Buy Larry a Coffee." I don't do Twit subscriptions.

Coffees go to turn "Patriot's History" into a film.buymeacoffee.com/larrys
4) Now, before I so rudely interrupted myself: the focus today is on the economy, but it's all part and parcel of the same astounding reordering that has already dwarfed the New Deal.

5) Trump has put friend and enemy alike on notice: the US won't be tariff bullied any more.
6) I do believe that Trump's plan is twofold when it comes to revenues. First, force all the nations to open their markets FAIRLY.

(It's interesting that so called "free trade" guys like Randy Paul never want to ensure fair trade where everyone gets a table at the craft show).
7) I can't prove this yet---nor can anyone disprove it yet---but I believe that this part of the strategy is aimed at almost everyone EXCEPT Chy-na. This will bring all tariffs into equality. ("All tariffs are created equal"). The US will greatly benefit then from . . .
7) contd . . . an explosion in US exports, dwarfing anything we've had since the levels of the 1950s. This will bring in tremendous revenue through economic growth and even low-level taxation.

8) Chy-na is a different target. Trump, I believe, INTENDS TO MAKE THEM PAY.
9) They stupidly raised rates, which is what I think Trump wanted them to do. By doing so, they make their products ALREADY too expensive and begin to shut down their exports (which had stopped growing) even more than ever. It also forces further relocation by US or US. . .
9) contd . . . owned plants OUT of Chy-na. "They'll just go to Veetnam." That's ok. The Vietnames just revised their entire tariff structure to accomodate . . . us.

10) There is a second, very powerful force at work. As the stock market falls, investors flee to bonds.
11) Don't look now but the interest rate has plummeted by HALF from what it was under Rutabaga. Eggs, gas, other staples are starting to fall. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Now the Fed is feeling major heat from Wall Street to lower rates.
12) This has had the effect of significantly slashing the interest payment on the $32 trillion debt, probably by half a trillion dollars.

13) As DOGE cuts kick in, the deficit will shrink, as will the debt.

14) Now, there is a temporary negative element to this.
14) And no, I'm not talking about the stock market. When the stocks fall, American assets also fall. In that regard, the national debt (what we owe vs. what we own) will grow some. But the good news there is AFTER this restructure, what we owe will come down, while what we OWN...
15) contd . . . will skyrocket. Now for all those like Niall Ferguson who think the U.S. can't re-industrialize . . . well . . .

thefp.com/p/niall-fergus…
16) This is why, as much as I like Brit historians like him and Paul Johnson, they often still MISS what is special about the U.S. Lemme 'splain.

17) We entered WW II with something like 18% unemployment, Hoovervilles/FDRvilles everywhere, a sour economy producing little.
17) Within a few months we had built BRAND NEW aircraft factories, retooled auto factories for tanks, and built entire shipyards. Hell, we built the damn Pentagram, er, Pentagon in just 3 years.

18) These factories turned out a TANK in 4 hours, a Liberty Ship in 4 days.
19) Twenty years later we put a man on the moon only a decade after our rockets all blew up.

20) The Brits, perhaps because they have NEVER done so, always underestimate what Americans can do. The Euros too, probably cuz they have never done it.
21) The Sinews of Democracy will grow like Schwartzenegger's biceps on juice if we quickly deregulate (as Trump is doing), lower taxes (as Trump is doing), and GET GUBMENT OUT OF THE WAY (as Trump is doing).
22) Over $10 TRILLION (by my calculations, $16 TRILLION) of new investment was already committed before the tariffs. Permits are printed, LNG ports started, foundations laid.

23) Taiwan already signed a deal to hand over major chip tech and secrets.
24) Trump is already talking cutting capital gains. So long as DOGE keeps chopping, we can keep lowering. So long as Chy-na remains a nation of slave-driven assholes, we can milk them.

25) But you say, "What if Chy-na backs up and plays ball?" We win.
26) Not only is their population cratering (esp. in the north) but their real estate market is more overbuilt than Florida in the 80s. The guys from "The Big Short" would think America's mortgage market in the 2008 period was sound compared to the ChiComs.
27) By taking away their uber export capability, Trump cripples them. Suddenly any excess yuan they had for the military goes up in smoke.

28) But that's secondary to the massive international reordering these tariffs are causing.
29) For the first time since the 1960s, EVERY NATION ON EARTH (except those we do not trade with---Russia, NORKS) can no longer piggyback on the back of American working men and women. No longer will investment bankers be able to expropriate American wealth & transfer it.
30) George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and yes, even Ronald Reagan, who always wanted what was best for the middle class, would be standing up and cheering Trump along in this.

1) All right, let's talk France. During the China Virus, how many of you screamed at your TVs or whatever that Canada and Australia were dictatorial tyrannies? "Aren't they democracies?" you shouted.

2) Yes, but they ain't a "democracy" like we are.
3) There are two realities here. First reality is that the United States is an EXCEPTIONAL NATION, contrary to what Zero said. Why?

4) Because we have the "Four Pillars of American Exceptionalism." These are all in "Patriot's History of the United States" but I'll discuss 2. Image
5) The first Pillar of American Exceptionalism is that the US was based on a "Christian, mostly Protestant" religious foundation. That is crucially important NOT for most matters of theology--is there a rapture, etc--but on church GOVERNANCE, which was congregational (bottom up).

1) Folks, maybe it's cuz I put down my pal of 13 years this morning, but I have freakin' had it with the approach of the Rs on the Hill, and even to some degree with the Trump sergeants.

2) THERE IS NO HEGSETH/WALZ SCANDAL. There is a Cankles scandal. There is a Rutabaga scandal
3) Not one question from anyone on this should be entertained. NOT ONE. If someone in private needs to be dealt with for adding a spoogepoodle from "The Atlantic," whatever the hell that is, to a text list, fine. Do it and keep moving.
4) Any so-called "reporter" on our side dealing with this ought to be ignored and shut down. We don't discuss questions from fascist DemoKKKrat analmongers whose sole purpose is to destroy America.

5) That ought to be first and foremost as an answer.

1) Remember Donald Rumsfeld? "The Enemy Always Gets a Vote." Trump (Patton) has run roughshod over the DemoKKKrats for more than two months. They finally came upon a strategy to slow him down.

2) The judges have 2 goals: obviously stop some of the measures, but also . . .
2) contd . . . to TIE UP THE DOJ's lawyers writing counter briefs so they can't aggressively go after the criminals in the Rutabaga administration.

3) When you ask, "What is Bondi doing?" my guess is that 24/7 her staff is absorbed with researching and countering judges.
4) So far---but lawyers would have to weigh in---it looks as though her teams' briefs were far superior to the judges' opinions and likely (not guaranteed) to win on appeal.

5) These are not just "whipped out" in a template.

1) I do NOT agree with anything most of these fecal-wrapped moronburgers of judges are doing. However . . .

2) If you read Shipwreckedcrew's substack
which I covered in my podcast yesterday, you'd know Trump is playing the "long game."substack.com/home/post/p-15…
3) PART . . . not all, but part . . . of that is an expectation that many of the newly vacated POSITIONS will be filled, but by MAGA/America First people.

4) A judge may say "You must rehire," but you can't rehire someone who is gone. Many--not all, but a lot---cannot . . .
4) contd . . . afford to wait while all the legal wrangling plays out. They have moved to other jobs, even other cities or states. Even if they are offered their old job back, ain't happening. And they would know that at first opportunity they'd be cut faster than a rookie punter

1) So let's review where the DemoKKKrats are after the passage of a couple of more weeks.

2) They are down two more in the House (deaths). Yes, ultimately those will be replaced in special elections--likely D, but you never know. Meanwhile, they are -2 since Nov.
3) By my count they have lost 3/4 special elections at various levels in two months. As @Peoples_Pundit points out specials aren't always predictive, but as another data point, this doesn't look good for DemoKKKrats.
@Peoples_Pundit 4) They now have three additional Senate seats to defend after a third sitting Senator (Shaheen, NH) joined the pimplescrotums from MN and MI in announcing she is throwing in the towel. That and MI should be tossups. NH may even be lean R.

1) Little story about a small meeting some of us had prior to 2022 with Con Andy Biggs. I love Andy. Voted for him & donated.

2) In that meeting we stated the obvious: Rs would win the House, but not a supermajority to override Rutabaga in either house.
3) We asked, "You will only have two powers. Impeachment and gubment shut down. We know impeachment is useless because we don't have nearly the votes in the Senate, so . . .

ARE YOU (Rs) READY TO SHUT DOWN THE GUBMENT?"

4) He just stared at me in a resigned face, meaning . . .
4) contd . . . "Of course not."

5) So there you are @RepEliCrane. The reality is that since 1995, when Gingrich caved to Clinton over the shutdown, Rs have been terrified of being portrayed as the "Party that shut down the gubment."
