CM HOMELESS SOLUTIONS staff were funded by a US donor whose entity that was funded by USAID. We have subsequently.14 people including myself were not paid or only paid a very small portion of our salaries for April.
Cm Homeless Solutions was set up with a promise to donors and funders that donations will be used 100% for beneficiaries and so offers no solution to our current crisis.
Of the 14 staff members, 9 are in dire straits, collectively requiring R4900 as soon as possible for essentials especially where children are involved. We urge you to please donate what you can to assist these individuals who daily work to help others.
Today, they need your help.
please contribute whatever you can to:

REF: CM HOMELESS SOLUTIONS STAFF ASSISTANCE
Thank you
Carlos
NB! If there is a business/private individual or two who can assist us with the R4900 required as a personal loan to myself, I am prepared to, in my personal capacity, sign an acknowledgement of debt and pay back this amount on the 15th of April, when my salary is paid.
Although every single one of these 9 requests that make up the assistance package of R4900 ARE VIATALLY IMPORTANT,there is an amount of R1200 that it is absolutely crucial we raise today. This pertains to the well being of a special needs child in the family as well as their home
This is for a lady I have many times mentioned in my posts, Chantelle, who is always involved in helping the young ladies we help off the streets or in trafficking situations. Chantelle has on numerous occassions moved in with the girls we have rescued and does so willingly.
@BryanTorien the public knew that their donations went 100% to beneficiaries, because I know most including myself hate the fact that with most big NGO'S the beneficiaries are the ones fighting for that last teet to suckle on. The bulk goes on staff , grand offices and all sorts of other
@BryanTorien nonsense. But we have to survive, so I put out a proposal explaining precisely this situation and asking of those prospective donors merely staff salary funding. The at least the donor knows what he/she is funding. I mean the work needs to get done and we have to live.
@BryanTorien Our salaries are all but extravagant. Hence the situation we are in. We don't earn enough to survive a month without pay and that is what happened with us now. But by the grace of GOD, my wish has come true and the new funder for salaries as of April is South African. I 100%
@BryanTorien believe South Africans need to support and fund South African organisations that do good work in South Africa. And so with the bad, good came. But we can chat more over crab curry. Love C

Yesterday was a VERY LONG but one of the most rewarding for me personally. We were able to move 9 residents at our Woodstock Rehab Recovery Rooms into independent accommodation after they had successfully completed their three months. Even more exciting was the fact that 2 of Image
the 9 leave the Rehab Recovery Rooms already employed and 4 leave with the promise of employment by our one security company partner in accommodating those we accommodate. All we need is to renew their PSIRA certifications. And here we are asking you to please assist us. Image
We need R150 each in order to do this for Basil, Jonathan, Emile and Bongani. There have never been four more deserving individuals, taking into account that 6 months ago they all entered a rehab program as a 3 month sentence imposed on them by the Magistrates Court in Image

We again need some assistance from you this morning. I mentioned yesterday that we would be attempting the rescue of a young girl caught in a vice and drugs scam in Cape town.
The police did not view it as having been against her will as she willingly responded to their ad and accepted the ticket to Cape town. The ad however mentions nothing about prostitution and if she was willing, why would she have asked for assistance from us?
A 16 year old desperate for a better life after her mom's passing taking a chance on an ad that guaranteed work in the "beauty and modelling industry in Cape town"... and what did she get 8 months of sheer hell. Living in a dump with 16 other girls where she was put on drugs and

Good morning. Firstly, thank you to the donors that have supported our call for donations to get our Homeless Emergency Fund to R30 000 by this afternoon to R30 000. If we manage this milestone, we will receive an EXTRA R50 000 from three donors. We are R2800 short.
We only need 14 donors to donate R200 each. It has to reflect in our HEF GOAL ACCOUNT by no later than 16h00 this afternoon. So, donations made will have to be made for immediate payment in order to reflect. I cannot begin to tell you how important this windfall of R50 000 will
be towards our commitment to helping as many people living on the streets and in crisis during our Winter Warmers campaign this month and in July. We managed to accommodate over 50 individuals last month and I guarantee you the need is so much greater. We will report on every

I have never seen a situation go from a negative to a positive in such a short space of time. I can't thank the donors that got us to the R15 000.00 BONUS. We not only made it, we surpassed it by R 4200.00. The donor alongside two well known businessmen in the motor industry
have in response challenged those who support the Homeless Emergency Fund this winter to continue donating till Friday 3pm. If we can get the fund to R30 000 (it now sits on R24 200 with another donation imminent as the staff will be donating R1500 this afternoon.
This will take the fund up to R25 700 which leaves us R4300 to raise to get - wait for it -R30 000 from our donor and another R10 000 each from the two car dealership owners. That is a total of R50 000 to add to the R30 000. Bringing our total to R80 000 for the

Good morning all. This is an update on the Homeless Emergency Fund and what we managed to achieve and what the status is towards us again securing the all impoortant extra R20 000 from the funder for June. You will see based on this month's figures how essential this extra
R20 000 is towards us doing the work we do effectively. By the grace of God we also had the best month in so far as individuals that we have assisted over the last 17 months moving out of their rooms into their own accommodation. Most had already paid for the month of May and so
very generously made arrangements for the organisation to be able to take over those rooms for new residents. 67 of our old residents moved into their own rented accommodation. 37 of them on the 1st of the month and 30 of them during the month. These 30 gave us R22500 in
