Margaritas and “gang tattoos” – photo ops gone off the rails.

Authoritarian regimes use propaganda to distract from the truth.

Stalin did it. Mussolini did it. Trump’s doing it now.

Here’s how they game reality. ⬇️ Image
Authoritarians want to look strong and in control.

So they stage photos, falsify images, and use media to mislead the public.

Bukele's people staged the margaritas to make it look like a casual hang out.

But no one drank them. It was a photo op.
Trump's regime is trying to convince us that Abrego Garcia’s knuckle tattoos are MS-13 tattoos.

But even ICE officials aren’t buying the spin.

One ICE source told The NY Post: “I’ve never heard of those resemblances being made.”nypost.com/2025/04/18/us-…
Trump’s regime has never entered the knuckle tattoo photo as evidence in court and courts have not found that Abrego Garcia was a member of the gang.

Why? Because it wouldn’t hold up.

Instead, they’re doing what autocrats do: use propaganda to trick you into believing them. Image
.@KaitlanCollins pressed Tom Homan, Trump's current “border czar” and former ICE Director + Project 2025 author over this on live TV.

Of course, he had no answer for why evidence Trump us pushing on social media hasn’t been entered as evidence in court.
Authoritarian regimes throughout history have staged photos, faked evidence, and used propaganda to control public perception.

From Stalin’s airbrushed out enemies to Mussolini’s macho photo ops – it’s a tactic as old as autocracy.

A few examples. ⬇️
Stalin had his enemies erased from photos.

One famous example is Yezhov, a top official who was later executed – and literally wiped from a famous picture.

Many other photos during his regime were staged and/or edited.

Authoritarians don’t just rewrite history. They edit it. Image
Mussolini riding shirtless on horseback? Totally staged.

The photos were choreographed by his PR team to mimic Roman emperors – power, virility, masculinity. He even posed with a sword.

It was fascist propaganda designed to craft a myth: not a man, but a legend. Image
Putin has built a whole aesthetic on manufactured masculinity – all part of an authoritarian image campaign.

None of it’s an accident. It’s propaganda.

From staged margaritas to fake tattoos, the Trump regime is pulling from a classic authoritarian playbook.

Don’t get distracted. Don’t get numb.

Propaganda always starts subtle – then it becomes a weapon.

Call it what it is. And let's fight back before it’s too late.

What if I told you the real driver of MAGA’s plot to rig future elections isn’t Trump?

It’s a fringe lawyer you’ve never heard of.

But her blueprint is taking shape – and it could block millions of Americans from voting.

BIG story you may have missed this week. ⬇️ Image
Cleta Mitchell helped Trump try to overturn the 2020 election – and she hasn’t stopped.

Now, she’s behind the SAVE Act, a bill that could block millions from registering to vote.

She even got a personal thank you from the bill’s sponsor when the House passed it last week. Image
Cleta Mitchell runs the Election Integrity Network – a far-right group spreading lies about "voter fraud" to push laws that make voting harder.

She helped write the SAVE Act and watched in the House gallery as it passed.

This isn’t fringe anymore. It’s MAGA’s new playbook. Image

🚨BREAKING: The U.S. House just passed the SAVE Act – a new MAGA voter suppression bill backed by Trump and his allies.

It’s not about protecting elections. It’s designed to save MAGA politicians from accountability at the ballot box.

Here’s what you need to know. ⬇️
Fair Fight Action CEO @GWLauren said it best:

"Let’s call this what it is: a desperate attempt by Trump and his MAGA allies to rig the rules, block millions from voting, and dodge accountability at the ballot box – it should be called the Save MAGA Politicians Act."
FACT #1: The SAVE Act forces voters to show proof of citizenship to register – like a passport or certified birth certificate.

But here’s the thing: it’s already illegal for people who aren't citizens to vote in federal elections.

This aims to fix a problem that doesn’t exist.

90 minutes. That's how long Trump rambled last night at the glitzy $35 million GOP dinner.

Most of it was the usual: lies, grievances, and weird love for tariffs.

But one line stood out – and it may reveal his real 2025 plan. ⬇️
Trump last night: "We're gonna get good elections pretty soon. There's a lot of clamor for it...the states are just an agent of the federal government."

That's wrong. The Constitution is clear: Congress and the states run elections. Not the president.
Trump thinks elections belong to him. So he signed an unlawful executive order to seize control + hand power to audit state voter rolls to Elon Musk’s DOGE, who:

❌ Fired nuclear experts
❌ Botched gov't systems
❌ Claimed dead people get Social Security zeteo.com/p/maga-musk-tr…

What do @CoryBooker's 25-hour protest speech, wins in Wisconsin and Louisiana, and 1,100+ rallies today have in common?

They’re all part of a growing movement to stop Trump & Elon Musk's attack on democracy.

It’s working – and it needs you. ⬇️ Democratic Senator Cory Booker speaks during a news conference following the weekly Senate Democrats policy luncheon at the US Capitol on March 4, 2025 in Washington, DC. © AFP
The last person to speak this long in the Senate was Strom Thurmond, a segregationist filibustering civil rights.

This time, it was different.

Booker stood for 25+ hours without food or water to protest Trump and Musk's attack on freedom and the rule of law. Sen. Strom Thurmond, the longtime Democrat-turned-Republican from South Carolina, spoke for 24 hours and 18 minutes in August 1957, to block a civil rights bill that eventually passed. (POLITICO)
Booker’s main point: we’re not powerless. All of us can do something – whether it’s calling our representatives or showing up at a town hall.

For the millions of Americans watching for a sign that our democracy still has a pulse, this wasn’t just a speech. It was a spark.

“In four years, you don’t have to vote again.”

Trump said that last year - and it sounded like a punchline.

Now he’s trying to rewrite election law. And says he’s “not joking” about a third term. ⬇️
Last week, Trump signed an executive order that reads like a MAGA fever dream:

– Requires citizenship docs to register to vote
– Lets Musk’s DOGE access state voter rolls
– Threatens military & overseas ballots

It’s likely illegal, and designed to create chaos + silence you.
It's not hard to imagine MAGA's likely plan here:

DOGE creates a mess
Trump screams fraud
MAGA allies use it to block real voters

Conservative legal experts say the order is unlawful overreach. Multiple lawsuits have been filed in the past couple days. apnews.com/article/trump-…

🚨 Trump’s DOJ just killed a voting rights case (brought under the Biden admin) that challenged Georgia’s anti-voter law, SB 202.

It’s a clear move to gut democracy, exactly what Project 2025 was written to do.

Here’s what you need to know. ⬇️
SB 202 was the GOP’s revenge after Trump lost Georgia in 2020. It cut drop boxes in Black communities, hiked absentee ballot rejections & created ID barriers.

Despite GOP spin, the data is clear: SB 202 made it harder for Georgians to vote. ajc.com/politics/georg…
And remember, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp said the quiet part out loud — he was "frustrated" that Democrats won in 2020 and "did something about it with SB 202."
