New Life – Deliverance from Death
On this Resurrection Sunday, we celebrate the new beginning that Jesus provided for those of us who believe and choose to follow Him. And we do, we no longer fear death because it has been defeated. When we are His and die to ourselves, then just as it was for Him on Good Friday,
death was not the end, but truly only the beginning. Even though it appeared as if He was a victim, the Lord was always fully in control. And we have new birth.

20 Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful,
but your sorrow will be turned into joy. 21 A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. 22 Therefore you now

The bible calls us who believe and trust in Him the chosen ones. The LORD chose us because He already knew that we would ultimately choose Him. He chose each one of us for a very special purpose, one that He gave to each of us before we were born (Jeremiah 1:5).
