We need to discuss the failure of key media outlets & politicians to show the truth behind Palestinian professional student Mohsen Mahdawi.
They made him look like a saint. Sold him to the world unquestioned. It is so dangerous! Why are they not doing their jobs?
Thread ⬇️⬇️⬇️
What we know about Mohsen Mahdawi because we bothered to look:
1. Made up tragic stories about his past 2. Glorified terrorism 3. Shared Jihadist genocidal antisemitic chants 4. Spent years radicalising students
So let us look at how the media and politicians have failed us.
We can start with @60Minutes from @CBSNews
They let Mohsen describe witnessing the murder of his best friend when he was ten years old - when a simple fact check would have exposed it as a lie.
How could 60 Minutes sell him as a hero if they did not even do the basic checks?
The New York Times claimed Mohsen “only wanted peace in the Middle East.”
This is dangerous nonsense. The @nytimes took a man who glorified terrorism on social media, and pretended he was some type of Mother Theresa.
Why didn't the NYT journos do their job & check the facts?
This one is shocking. The Valley News - a local Vermont outlet that defended Mohsen & gave him a platform without actually checking facts.
Worse, they appear to have recently deleted an article in which Mohsen justified October 7.
Deleting evidence? That isn’t about not knowing the truth – @VNewsUV seems to want to hide it!
Let’s not ignore National Public Radio!
@NPR pushed the unchallenged line Mohsen was arrested “just because of his identity and because he spoke up for Palestinians.”
Why didn't NPR look at his social media? There is problematic history there. Why? They just weren't interested.
This is the behavior of a lazy hack, not a nationally recognized news source.
Back to local – the Vermont Public.
@vermontpublic pushed the line Mohsen was “a deeply peaceful person” – painting him as some kind of saint.
How about the fact he shared videos calling for a religious massacre of Jews? The journos simply did not bother to look.
Then there are politicians who came out blindly defending Mohsen. Names like:
Senator Peter Welch @SenPeterWelch
Senator Bernie Sanders @SenSanders
Representative Becca Balint @RepBeccaB
Governor Phil Scott @GovPhilScott
Truth doesn’t seem to matter to them either. Can their staff not do research?
We know Mohsen lied about the death of his best friend. Some will claim a mix up (it wasn’t, I have receipts.)
He is a charmer with a soft voice and because of a 'Palestine' fetish, nobody checked anything. Mohsen is a manipulator. So here are seven(!) more pieces of evidence:
One: In this video he explicitly says he scraped seven bodies from the walls. But this is just impossible fiction. Seven people did not die at his camp in four years of the Second Intifada - let alone in one night. This is a blatant lie.
Two: How about where he says the key lesson he learnt from his uncle was to pursue education? This is just puff – created to manipulate a US audience.
In 2013 he said the main lesson he learnt from his uncle was to be a patriotic nationalist willing to die for the cause.
Three: How about the fact (h/t @EFischberger) Mohsen Mahdawi served as "coordinator" for Fatah’s Student Movement at Birzeit University? The group glorifies mass murderers, urges students to become "martyrs," has members who ARE terrorists, and hosts terror parades on campus.
Four: For those saying Mohsen cares and only wants to build bridges: (h/t @CU_JewishAlumn)
When Jewish @columbia students called to release the Bibas babies, Mohsen BLARED A SIREN in their faces and SMIRKED.
You paint this vindictive aggressor as a deep-feeling humanitarian?
Five: For those saying Mohsen fights antisemitism:
Mohsen Mahdawi posted this in his own Facebook group. The Khaybar chant, an explicit call for Jihad, for a religious massacre of Jews
The chant has 1 meaning. It is not negotiable.
Don’t you dare say he cares about antisemitism
Six: Mohsen posts images of dead family members – and it turns out everyone he names was a terrorist.
And he lies about their deaths - pretending they were innocent victims - when they only died because they were terrorists shooting at Israeli soldiers. Like these two:
Seven: For those who say he opposes terrorism: He literally opened a Facebook group honouring terrorists. Posting videos that glorified terrorists. Here he posts an image of his mum praying at the grave of Satan Al Wadi, a terrorist who ran a suicide cell on the Golan Heights.
Mohsen is a charmer and nobody looked under the mask. All because people have lost themselves to a fake narrative – a 'Palestine' fetish.
To those who think the Jewish people are safe and anti-Zionism isn’t antisemitism, and the media tells the truth - I have a single question.
We know Mohsen Mahdawi is a manipulator who has spent time glorifying terrorism, telling lies, and sharing genocidal antisemitic chants.
So please answer this: Why did it take a few Jewish people to expose the truth? Where was the media? Why did they defend the indefensible?!?

There is more detail... more images... more sources.... and more of everything you need to know about the professional student Mohsen Mahdawi and his lies and pro terrorist positions in this article:
And here we go again.
@bbcnews has just promoted a boycott-Israel campaign.
It inflated a non-event into an article, and then misled readers by whitewashing the activists involved.
Thread ⬇️⬇️⬇️
First, BBC News chose to run a pro-BDS article.
It then cited the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign without telling readers that SPSC’s leader was convicted of anti-Jewish racism just weeks ago.
This omission is inexcusable.
The article goes on to conceal the anti-Israel bias of the United Nations Human Rights Council and withholds key information about the political activism of the other NGO it relies on. Every single player involved is whitewashed.
BBC Verify got caught doing something shameless. They published the same Gaza “investigation” twice and pushed it as fresh “verification”.
My latest - BBC Verify does Groundhog day.
Thread: ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Put the two articles side by side and it’s unavoidable. Once in October 25, then again January 2026. Same authors. Same framing. Same story. This isn’t verification @bbcnews. It’s anti-Israel recycling.
It goes from simply bad to embarrassing. The opening paragraphs follow the same sequence, almost line by line. This is the BBC’s flagship “Verify” unit.
And they’re doing student activist-level journalism
If you care about antisemitism, or are in a space fighting against it, you really need to read this.
Thread ⬇️⬇️⬇️
You may have seen the term "anti-Palestinian racism" (APR). If you are not paying attention, you should.
APR isn’t “anti-racism”. It’s a political weapon designed to neutralise antisemitism safeguards and bully institutions into activist ideology.
I traced its history. I found out where & why it was created, and my new report lays out exactly how it evolved.
What you need to know is this: APR relabels reality. Antisemitism protections are dropped. Zionism becomes racism. Disagree with fictional narratives? Racist!
Exclusive: A detailed investigation exposes how false claims on @Wikipedia fabricate history - then get laundered into activist and media campaigns used to smear elected officials and demand resignations

In Sept 2025, 250 U.S. legislators visited Israel. At the end of a harrowing day touring Oct 7 massacre sites, they went to Ofakim - a southern town brutally attacked by Hamas terrorists. There, they planted 50 trees - one for each state: a simple act of respect and remembrance.
U.S. legislators visited a staunch ally emerging from a difficult conflict. Within hours, activists and media outlets launched false genocide claims - and a story spread accusing them of planting trees atop a depopulated Palestinian village.
There is a sustained Islamist-driven global disinformation campaign portraying Israel as hostile to Christianity.
Before repeating it, it is worth examining what is really happening to Christian communities across the Middle East.
Thread ⬇️⬇️
Let's begin in Syria. Christians in Syria used to make up about 10% of the population - today, half have been driven out. Ancient communities devastated by war and Islamism. Syria is now run by an Islamist with a Salafi-jihadist past - who promotes nation wide sharia law.
How about Iraq? In the 1950s they forced the Jews out, now it is the Christians' turn. Once home to about 1.5 million Christians, most have gone. Church bombings, ISIS genocide, intimidation, and emigration - Islamism shattered one of the world’s oldest Christian populations.
Exclusive: A new investigation tracking stolen IDF vehicles through Gaza on October 7, alongside newly uncovered footage, reveals that al-Shifa Hospital received far more Israeli hostages than previously acknowledged.
Thread: ⬇️⬇️⬇️
For 2 years, global media outlets denied that al-Shifa functioned as a Hamas hub.
