👀 Why does @maersk keep twisting the truth, trying to distance itself from genocide? 🚢
Let’s set the record straight about Maersk , the Nexoe Maersk, and the Moroccan port workers taking a stand against genocide.
Here’s the truth Maersk wants you to ignore. 👇
#MaskOffMaersk
⬅️As we speak, the Nexoe Maersk is about to dock in Tangier to pick up F-35 parts and deliver them to Israel.
After workers in Morocco, France, and Spain took action at their ports against the Nexoe Maersk ship, @maersk went on the offensive with reports denying that the Nexoe Maersk is carrying any military supplies…
What Maersk doesn’t want you to know....
🚢 The Nexoe Maersk is en route to pick up a container of F-35 equipment delivered to Tangier Med by another Maersk vessel — the Maersk Detroit.
This is a textbook example of transshipment. One Maersk ship, in this case the Detroit, drops off the supplies in Morocco, another Maersk ship, the Nexoe, picks them up and finishes the delivery. It doesn’t make Nexoe less complicit — it makes it part of the same genocidal supply chain.
At Tangier Med Port, Moroccan workers understood this clearly, refusing to operate machinery to service the Maersk Detroit, with at least one worker resigning.
This was a historic intervention in the transport of military cargo to Israel. The world must stand with these brave workers - Long Live International Solidarity!
@maersk can try to cover their tracks, but these workers and the people of the world see the truth. They knew what was at the port in Tangier — and what it would be used for.
@Maersk claims they are “transporting only civilian commercial cargo.” YET, Maersk has ALREADY admitted its role in the F-35 supply chain as recently as April 9 - confirming that Maersk Detroit and Nexoe Maersk will be carrying F-35 components this month.
While @maersk claims “it’s not for Israel’s military.” The bill of laden suggests that the final destination is: ISRAEL MOD F35 ISRAEL SITE BASE 28, NEVATIM AFB. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Lockheed Martin facility or a private subcontractor — these shipments are being sent directlyan airbase servicing active Israeli warplanes conducting genocide against the people of Gaza.
According to bill of lading data (or the “receipt” detailing the contents of each ship), container CAAU2253429 on Maersk’s ship is carrying “Surface Analyzers” — precision tools from Lockheed Martin used exclusively for repair and stealth coating on Israeli F-35 fighter jets.
These jets bomb Gaza daily.
The shipment is bound for Nevatim Air Base, the hub of Israel’s F-35 fleet. Every two weeks, those jets require maintenance. Surface Analyzers shipped by Maersk bring them back into operation.
Blocking that shipment delays that maintenance. Delaying docking.
Maersk’s defense? “We don’t act on behalf of the Israeli military.”“We ship on behalf of private contractors.”“We don’t ship to conflict zones.”
All falsehoods — and all previously debunked with hard shipping data.
@Maersk thinks that it can avoid accountability through twisting the truth and technicalities. But the world won’t let them. Maersk can’t hide from the facts. They ARE facilitating genocide.
So when @Maersk says they don’t directly contribute to the genocide," remember:
—Maersk turned off its vessel tracking AIS in the past to conceal routes.
—This is not the first time this has happened. There are several cases of Maersk vessels transporting wings specifically earmarked with the Israeli F-35 code.
They know what they’re carrying. And they know who it’s for.
This is a global supply chain enabling genocide. From Texas to Tangier to Occupied Haifa.
Maersk and the Israeli military depend on seamless logistics to wage war.
Disrupting any link in that chain disrupts Israel’s war machine. Moroccan workers stood against genocide and stood for the people of Gaza.
We stand with Moroccan workers, the Port Workers’ Union, and every person resisting complicity in genocide. Their actions are brave, strategic, and historically necessary.
As we begin to witness the joyful scenes of the release of an expected 3,000 Palestinian prisoners from Zionist prisons in the first phase of the ceasefire, we are reminded that the release of Palestinian prisoners has been made possible through the resistance and resilience of our people in Gaza (1/9)
For as long as it existed, the Zionist entity has used prisons as one of its main tools to destroy the Palestinian revolution - imprisoning those who dare to resist, from political leaders to intellectuals to youth. Through its prison system, israel tries to break the Palestinian spirit and commitment to struggle (2/9)
After October 7, 2023, conditions for Palestinian prisoners worsened dramatically. An escalation of already torturous conditions in existing Zionist prisons as a form of collective punishment was coupled with the creation of new prison camps, such as Sde Truman, where Palestinians were subjected to unimaginable forms of physical torture, sexual and psychological abuse (3/9)

🚨 Following the initiation of the Palestine movement’s boycott of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) in 2022, 26 DSA chapters have passed strong and enforceable commitments to defend Palestinian liberation and reject Zionism within their organization. 🚨
Last Saturday, members of the DSA have now introduced a national motion — “Make DSA an Anti-Zionist Organization” — to commit the organization and its elected officials to Palestine.
In March of 2022, PYM, along with @NationalSJP and 4 other Arab organizations, issued a boycott of the DSA over its lack of accountability for DSA-endorsed elected officials who had advanced the Zionist cause, traveled to Israel, or accepted financial support from lobby groups.
The Palestinian Youth Movement has created a resource list that provides an introductory level breakdown of the events of October 2023 and the history that birthed it.
PYM is participating in demonstrations in cities across North America in support of our people in Gaza as the Zionist occupation continues its relentless attacks. Here’s a thread of actions, happening between Friday Oct 13 - Sunday Oct 15 👇🏼👇🏼
