Putin is the closest thing Earth has to a demon. The fact that Donald Trump and all of his aides, allies, agents, associates, attorneys and advisors, including and perhaps most especially Elon Musk, have tried to suck up to him despite knowing what he is tells us what *they* are.

Putin was an international pariah with everyone but the most evil men alive until Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who also happen to be two of the most evil people alive, did everything they could possibly do to bring Putin back to respectability, even as he kept murdering thousands.
Then again, what are thousands of innocents murdered by Putin when measured against the hundreds of thousands his illegal wars have killed? And what are those several hundred thousand against the *over half a million* Trump killed during the pandemic through deliberate inaction?
When you put malignant narcissistic sociopaths like Trump and Musk in power and daily demonstrate to them that they're above the law, there's no question of the result—mass death of innocents—only its means and timing.
