The response is very weak and @AgnesCallamard goes for the "intent" BS
"We have not made a determination that the intent to destroy in part or in whole a particular group was the intention behind the actions being taken"

The intent in the context of Tigray couldn't be clearer.

That the campaign is genocidal could never be clearer than what officials have been saying and doing.

how is a clearly orchestrated ethnic cleansing campaign, openly declared genocidal campaign where officials publicly celebrated and laughed about the weaponisation of

rape and sexual violence in which 10% of Tigrayan women and girls were subjected to its horrors, where a PM openly besieged an entire region for years to starve a population "complex"?

What is complex about genocide @AgnesCallamard and @amnesty?

Isn't this "the use of the absence of as evidence of absence"?
Isn't the deliberate blockade and invisibilization of the region a reason to suspect that something with the intent of harming the besieged and blockaded people was going on, and thus a reason to closely follow up?

The challenge, it seems, is either the victims or the killers have to be of certain background for @amnesty to recognise the need to investigate and determine what is happening.
