Why remain willfully ignorant about mitigations for a disease that is killing and disabling millions every year? This asshole keeps responding with snarky, antagonist quips, talking about "the science", which he continually ignores

You know, you can literally just LOOK UP how respirators work, right? Might require some reading & science skills, but all the info is there. Fuck, if you were a real lazy POS, you could literally just ask AI to get an idea of how they work and WHY they don't work like a sieve

Seriously, I'll be that lazy POS and just ask Grok... Hey @grok how do N95 respirators work? What mechanisms are used to filter particles? Do they work like a sieve? And can they filter SARS-CoV-2 aerosolized virus particles?

But again, I always ask myself, WHY do these people remain willfully ignorant, while chastising anyone who disagrees with them? Especially when they're supposedly anti-genocide but at the same time are ignoring the very eugenics of the COVID pandemic

Sometimes I wonder if it's just a lack of science knowledge and inability to grasp how our invisible world works. Like, unless you've studied the microscopic world before, your macro intuition will completely send you for a loop bc you won't have any intuition for this stuff

I think that's one reason why so many people assume masks work like sieves when in reality they are MUCH more complicated. But you really need a good intuition of how microscopic particles move and attract/repel each other to really "get it", and that does take some experience

Simultaneously, these feel like such small hurdles for an adult to overcome. Like we're not asking you to take an Electricity & Magnetism physics course, but you should be able to learn what Brownian motion is and how virus particles are charged and will stick to N95 fibers

But if you REALLY wanted to get into the physics of electrical charges, and how electrostatic filters work, and how viruses carry surfaces charges, and more, IT'S ALL FUCKING THERE FOR YOU TO DIG INTO! If you actually cared...

But like, I get the feeling people like this dude don't actually care. Bc if they did, they'd do the hour (or less) of required readings and come away realizing they're fucking dead wrong about how respirators work. But yeah, for whatever reason they choose ignorance instead.
