It’s a warning sign your nervous system is breaking down.
Here’s what’s really going on inside your brain (and how to silence it): 🧵
Tinnitus is defined as:
"The perception of sound-such as ringing, buzzing, hissing, roaring, or clicking-in one or both ears when no external sound is present"
The sounds can vary in pitch and intensity, and may be constant or intermittent.
Sound familiar?
Tinnitus happens when the brain makes hearing nerves more sensitive to keep them active.
This can cause the nerves to become overactive and work together, creating the illusion of sound even when there’s none.
Here's how it works:
Tinnitus gets worse when the parts of the brain that handle emotions and attention get involved.
They affect how much you focus on the sound and how annoying it gets.
This area being the prefrontal cortex:
Tinnitus is not a disease, it's a symptom of various things:
• Stress
• Earwax buildup
• Poor circulation
• Ear injuries/infections
• Exposure to loud noises
• Age-related hearing loss
• TMJ, high blood pressure, diabetes, or head injuries
Holistic health experts also attribute Tinnitus to:
- Wheat/dairy/peanuts/refined sugar/alcohol
- Heavy metal toxicity (the jab)
- Magnesium & B12 deficiency
- Sinus conjestion
- Mold exposure
- Excess mucus
- Chemicals
The advice for relieving tinnitus is rather disappointing:
• Lifestyle changes to reduce stress
• Treat underlying medical conditions
• Hearing aids or sound-masking devices
• Counseling and cognitive behavioral therapy
Instead, here are a few things that may help:
1. Ear massages
2. Supplements:
Lemon Balm
Magnesium
L-Theanine
Vitamin B
Lavender
Taurine
CoQ10
Zinc
I did find a product that contained about 80% of the suggested supplements.
It can also help you sleep better, which is difficult with Tinnitus.
Unfortunately, there isn't one solution for tinnitus.
It's up to you to self-experiment and find what works.
I'd love to hear your story if you've fixed it.
