A massive explosion just tore through Russia's Bryansk airport.

Ukrainian attack drones were reported in the area tonight.

Color and debris ejected indicate some sort of munitions.

Explosion occurred near the main apron.

The area had been converted into an impromptu Russian heliport after 2022, with multiple Russian Mi-8s spotted on the ramp, along with new facilities in the area in April 2024.

Russian helicopters have been present on the main ramp over the last few weeks, usually in pairs.
