Jat Evolution History!

8th century Sindh; Cattleherders, nomads, assisted the Arab invaders against Dahir, Hindu King. Betrayed water secrets of Meds to Arabs. First converts to Islam in the subcontinent. No change in social status, remained worse than Chandals & equal to Dogs.

10-12th Century; migration to upper Sindh & Punjab, slowly evolved into farm labour from nomadic cattleherders. Engaged in petty thievery, looting caravans & laggards of retreating armies, camps. Station; Lowest strata of society. But better than Chandals/Dogs,

13-15th century; settled into fertile agricultural lands of Punjab, evolved into farmers & agriculturists. Became landed farmers in wake of the Islamic invasions, where Jats converted en masse to Islam. Formed small clusters offered no resistance to invaders except plunder.

Babur & other Islamic invaders are on record that Jats formed bands of robbers who terrorised the highways. Mahmud had led a punitive raid against the Jats, killing them in great numbers. Babur too speaks of punishing them in his memoirs, Baburnama.

Jats were first to convert.

Now, in Punjab, they found Sikhi as an alternative & swarmed to Sikhi in great numbers. It's been recognised that 33% of Jats are Muslims, 17% Sikhs, rest Hindu. Sikhi militarised them to a certain extent but the Hindu Jats remained agriculturists & moved eastwards to the Jamuna.

16-17th century; availed the zamindaris of certain areas by sending their women to Mughal harems. It did elevate their social status, though Jat women were not taken as brides but as concubines. Now they were zamindars in true sense.
Hindu Jats rebelled against bigot Aurangzeb.

The rebellion was put down & sons of Gokula converted to Islam, daughters married to Muslim officers of Aurangzeb. 17th century was most important phase of their evolutionary process.
Rajaram struggled, and Churaman played a game of to & fro. It was crushed. All this happened….

In the region of Braj, elsewhere Jats kept a quiet occupation of farming, never dared to oppose any establishment.
Delhi & surrounding areas was still under Mughals, Doab under the Ruhella & Bangash Afghans. Rewari under Ahirs.

Rajputana Jats were most cowardly people.

Their sole purpose was survival, working as farm labour & petty farmers. They evolved into a cunning people who'd do anything for survival.

Meanwhile, having finished off Jat challenge in Braj, Sawai Jai Singh installed Badan Singh, his acolyte in power with the title, Brajraj.

Thus was founded the state of Bharatpur by Jats of Sinsini, who claimed a Jadon ancestry, duly recorded in their genealogy.

What was happening to Jats in Punjab?
They were busy in getting themselves the titles of Akbari, Jahangiri & Durbari by sending their women as concubines.

For a 1000 years Jats slaved, whoever was the ruling class.

20-21st century; now they became foremost warriors, even gods were Jats, all ancient rulers were Jats, world itself is JAT.

No wonder these people don’t believe in evolution. It obviously hasn’t worked in their favor😉
