Coffee naps are the best productivity hack on Earth.

They "rewire" your brain to fix brain fog, dopamine, and focus.

They're literally a portal to flow state.

Here's what they are, why they work, & how to do one: 🧵
So, what exactly is a coffee nap?

Drinking a cup of coffee and then taking a 20-25 minute nap.

Research shows it maximizes the benefits of both the caffeine and a quick nap.

Here's the actual science behind it ↓ Image
Your body uses adenosine triphosphate (ATP) for energy.

As the day goes on, adenosine builds up and makes your neurons fire less often - which is why you feel tired.

Here's how caffeine fixes that:
Sleep clears adenosine from the brain.

Which is why we feel refreshed and alert after a good sleep.

Huberman explains how this works:
Image
A coffee nap keeps your brain sharp in two ways:

1. A quick nap naturally begins to clear adenosine from your brain

2. You wake up → the caffeine kicks in and blocks adenosine from its receptors

Making you more sharp, focused, and productive.
Here are a few tips for your coffee nap:

- Drink black coffee
- Set alarm for 20 min
- Do it 7 to 9 hours after waking

Also, if you're a bad napper (like me).

You don't have to fall asleep. Just closing your eyes and resting works too.
I found this supplement based around the coffee nap.

BUT you can take it before going to bed every night (caffeine release is delayed 8 hours).

I've been using it for the last few weeks and I wake up feeling amazing.

Have you ever tried a coffee nap?

I'm terrible at napping so I'm going to give these a try in a few weeks when I'm on vacation.

(Seems like it would be perfect for Spain)

This single metric reflects your quality of life:

Heart Rate Variability

The more it improves → the better you feel & perform.

Yet 90% of people have no idea how it works…

Here's what it is & how to improve yours: 🧵
HRV is a measure of the variation in time between each heartbeat.

It's controlled by your autonomic nervous system:

Your "fight-or-flight" and "rest-and-digest" responses.

Depending on your body's response, your HRV will go up or down.

Here's how it works:
Higher HRV has been found in many studies to be associated with:

- reduced mortality
- improved quality of life
- improved psychological well-being

People with high HRV are usually less stressed and happier.

Now, let's talk about what affects HRV ↓ Image

It reduces inflammation, improves memory, and extends lifespan.

Andrew Huberman and Gary Brecka swear by it to maintain peak performance in their 50s.

Here's the science behind hydrogen water (& how to use it correctly):🧵

The Benefits of Hydrogen Water

Gary calls it "The greatest biohack on Earth" for a reason:

- It reduces risk of cardiovascular mortality up to 25%
- Reduces inflammation

Your life depends on this one molecule:

NAD+

It powers your brain, DNA, and metabolism.

But 90% of people have never heard of it...

Here's what it is (& why you need to increase it): 🧵 Image
NAD+ helps produce ATP (the main fuel for your body).

It also regulates:

- Aging
- Metabolism
- Circadian rhythm

But here's the problem... Image
NAD levels naturally decrease with age.

Which is linked to:

- DNA damage
- Reduced energy
- Higher risk of age-related diseases

Why is why increasing levels is so important, here's how to start:
