I believe I found the "ships on fire in the Gulf of Oman" cause.

Appears that the tankers ADALYNN and FRONT EAGLE collided, possibly setting one of the vessels ablaze. Image

Unless Atlantic Trident this year is going to be an incredibly large display of NATO solidarity, this is probably an unusual deployment.

- Natanz burning after multiple rounds of strikes hit the facility
