🧵 THREAD: How Utah Houses Migrants

Salt Lake City and surrounding areas have experienced a significant boom in population driven by international migration. All around Salt Lake County, multifamily housing is going up.

In one year alone (2023-2024), the Salt Lake City metro area gained 19,124 international migrants. Given Salt Lake City proper has only about 209K people, that is a significant change.

But, who's paying for this housing? I did some research and am sharing my compilation here. (Patience as I slowly compile in real time.)

BTW, this topic has nothing to do with the proposed federal land sales - which seems dead now.Image

Utah Department of Workforce Service receives tons of federal money for refugee assistance. You can search for it in USA Spending, or browse the federal awards here: taggs.hhs.gov/Detail/RecipDe…Image

The overall federal budget can be found here . Obligations nearly quadrupled from 3 billion in 2019 to a peak of 11.5 billion in 2023. usaspending.gov/federal_accoun…Image

Per FOX 13, about 70,000 refugees live in Utah. Image
Utah offers a variety of services to support housing for refugees. Some are more "politically popular" than others - the state highly promoted their own Afghanistan SIV housing to protect Afghanistan workers who risked their lives in helping United States forces. But other programs exist.Image
Image
Utah's Refugee Services Office services about 12,000 refugees. However, this is just "official refugees" as far as I can tell - this number doesn't include services for illegal immigration. Image
We see that Utah does set aside dedicated housing for refugees. Bud Bailey Apartments (3970 S. Main Street, Millcreek, UT) is one such example. Image
Pulling the record shows that it is owned by the Housing Authority of the County of Salt Lake. The Housing Authority contracts out to a variety of developers for housing assistance. Image
Image
There is a special class of refugees - unaccompanied minors. Utah participates in the federal Unaccompanied Refugee Minors (URM) program, which places these minors into foster homes. Catholic Community Services runs this program for the state. Image
Image
These children go through the foster care system with hopes of being released to sponsors. Image
Altogether, this has resulted in a housing crisis, especially for Salt Lake City. Image
Image
Due to significant budget cuts, ORR has decreased its eligibility period from twelve months to four months. In short, refugees can only receive benefits for four months now instead of twelve months. With 70,000 refugees in Utah, the affordability housing crunch will get that much worse.Image
Note that refugees are NOT counted as undocumented migrants. Refugees are people with legal status. Undocumented migrants are a separate can of worms.
Per Lyman's campaign website, an estimated 88,000 illegal immigrants live in Utah. Services tend to be provided through NGOs rather than "official" state services. Image
Image
Utah is considered one of the most friendly states for illegal immigrants. They are not a sanctuary state - because Republicans - so instead they sneak in support for illegal aliens through an euphemism called the "Utah Compact." Image
Image
The way Utah supports illegal immigrants is providing them in-state tuition and assigning them driver privilege cards. Image
Image
Perhaps the worst part is that Utah passed a law specifically to prevent certain criminals from being automatically deported. Image
Image
Utah also rejected e-Verify for small businesses. Image
Sorry for the long and rambling thread - the gist of it is that Utah gets a lot of assistance from the federal government to provide housing and benefits for refugees. Salt Lake City issues loans for developers, and special housing is set aside for refugees and other low-income families. Immigration status is not considered in housing, which means that even if illegal immigrants do not get direct refugee support, they can get benefits through other means like federally financed NGOs and county-level subsidies. Hope you enjoyed this thread!

🧵 THREAD: A new report raises serious questions about the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and foreign government engagement.

An explosive analysis by @ncri_io documents repeated, state-facilitated delegations by DSA to Venezuela, Cuba, and China, and asks whether these activities warrant a FARA compliance inquiry.

As always, patience as I pull the thread together. 👇Image
The DSA is a socialist political organization in the United States that operates alongside communist and other left-revolutionary currents. Once a candidate is endorsed, DSA chapters often mobilize substantial organizational support, including coordinated volunteer efforts, fundraising, and campaign infrastructure.Image
They often operate alongside other Neville Singham Communist organizations such as PSL.

The only functional difference between them and Marxists is that DSA allows for some minimal dissent. However, I haven't been able to discern what that looks like in practice. Image

🚨 BREAKING: Siembra NC doxxing websites being attacked 🚨

Siembra NC (EIN 87-2256899) runs three ICE doxxing websites - Luce/Gyrelabs (covering MA), Ojo Obrero (covering NC), and a future project, DEICER, which appears to be a future project providing nationwide coverage.

RC Concepcion, Terri Williams, Andrew Garcia, and Scott Spencer have been identified to be the masters behind these sites and have been reported to the authorities.

Per @astrarce , the 1000+ users signed up to both sites have received a text alert with the meme attached.Image
Image
2,044 push notifications have been sent to the users of Ojo Obrero and Gyrelabs. Image
More coverage to come... and keep an eye on the left-wing web as they receive those texts.

But seriously. Don't doxx ICE.

Reddit starting to notice.

Yeah, the hackers of StopICE weren't kidding.

I can personally testify that the names, logins, passwords, locations (down to coordinates), and phone numbers of 100K+ users were all sent to FBI, ICE, HSI, and more.

Sherman Austin was given time to tell his users of this security breach. Sherman Austin failed his lesson.

Follow @astrarce and @bitchuneedsoap .Image
Holy crap what a piece of 💩 that Sherman Austin is. Lying to his users outright like that. Image
Dear StopICE users:

Yes, your information was hacked. Yes, your locations were being stored because you signed up to receive alerts when ICE was in your area. Yes, your plaintext passwords were deciphered.

The hackers haven't released this to the public. But a lot of federal agencies now have this information.

You will know by next week we are not lying.

🚨💵 BREAKING: SIGNALGATE DONORS LIST AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD; POLITICIANS + FOREIGN LEADERSHIP CONFIRMED?

In one of the files revealed by @camhigby , a resources file directs people with money to a website, Stand with Minnesota, which in turns directs donors to a campaign ran by Tending the Soil on Chuffed.

More about Tending the Soil later. What to know: the campaign is hosted by Chuffed and the first donation came from Jonny Soppotiuk, a Canada-based community organizer who is part of Chuffed leadership and specializes in fundraising. He is most likely a central figure in raising money.

So, yeah. Starting to look like foreigners are playing a key role in all of this.

That's not all. I've put together a spreadsheet of 4000+ donors and their possible identities.
