This is Hermes Trismegistus.

Three unknown initiates would encode his teachings into The Kybalion.

Let's go down the rabbit hole of one of the most famous texts you probably haven't read...🧵 Hermes Trismegistus
The Kybalion, published in 1908, distills Hermes' wisdom from the Emerald Tablets into 7 core principles.

These principles offer a framework for understanding the universe and our place in it.

The rabbit hole:
Principle 1: Mentalism -

"The All is Mind; The Universe is Mental."

This principle suggests that reality is fundamentally mental in nature... Image
Our desires are seeds and we are the gardener.

Desires are germinated by pouring our thoughts into them.

Every idea has the potential to grow into tangible reality.

But the rabbit hole goes deeper...
Principle 2: Correspondence -

"As above, so below; as below, so above."

From the subatomic to the cosmic, we see the same fundamental designs.

But more importantly... The spiral nature of Subatomic Particles
The Spiral Nature of Galaxies
It suggests that the microcosm of our inner Mental world reflects the macrocosm of the universe.

By understanding ourselves, we gain insight into the cosmos.

This leads us to a startling realization about the nature of existence itself... Image

Principle 3: Vibration -

"Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates."

This principle posits that everything in the material universe is in constant motion and vibrating at different frequencies...
The higher the vibration, the more solid the material appears.

The slower the vibration, the more gaseous.

These ancient alchemical states of matter were termed Earth, Water, Air and Fire.

Modern physics refers to these states as solids, liquids, gases, and plasma... Image
Principle 4: Polarity -

"Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites."

Hot and cold, light and dark, - these aren't separate phenomena, but different degrees of the same thing.

But how can we apply this? Image
By understanding this, we gain the power to transmute negative experiences into positive ones.

And we can learn to see the good in all things.

But life isn't just about extremes, it's also about... Image
Principle 5: Rhythm -

"Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tides; all things rise and fall."

From seasons to economic cycles to our own moods, everything moves in rhythmic patterns.

Eventually, rhythmic patterns synchronize and void each other, creating new ones.
Principle 6: Cause and Effect -

"Every cause has its effect; every effect has its cause."

This principle emphasizes the interconnectedness of all things.

It's not just about cosmic justice, though.

It's a call to action... Image
By understanding the chain of cause and effect, we gain the power to shape our destiny.

But to truly master this principle, we need to understand the final piece of the puzzle... Image
Principle 7: Gender -

"Gender is in everything; everything has its masculine and feminine principles."

This goes beyond biology.

-suggesting all things contain both active and receptive energies.

But how does this manifest in our lives? Image
Our thought PATTERNS (Latin pater = father) impregnate the MATERIAL world (from the Latin mater = mother) via action.

By balancing these energies within ourselves, we can harness the creative forces of the universe.

-enriching our creations and our lives... Image
These seven principles offer a holistic view of the universe.

-encouraging us to see beyond surface-level appearances and understand the deeper workings of reality.

But the true power of the Kybalion lies not just in understanding...
...but in application.

By internalizing these principles, we can gain the ability to:

• gain greater mastery over our lives
• transmute negative experiences
• align ourselves with the fundamental laws of the universe.

The question is...
Are you ready to see beyond the veil of ordinary reality and tap into the extraordinary potential that lies within you?

The choice, as always, is yours.

But remember...
As the Kybalion says:

"The lips of wisdom are closed, except to the ears of understanding."

The wisdom of the Kybalion is always available.

-awaiting those who are ready.

Are you? ... Image

500 years ago, Leonardo da Vinci drew human anatomy with such precision that modern doctors are still amazed.

Leonardo da Vinci didn’t just draw the human body — he unlocked it.

Here's how: 🧵 Image
Leonardo da Vinci once said:

“A beautiful body perishes, but a work of art dies not.”

His anatomical drawings are a symbol of his genius.

- combining art and science in ways that were centuries ahead of his time.

Let's dive in... Image
In 1489, he obtained a human skull and began his journey into anatomical studies.

He meticulously sectioned it to investigate its internal structure.

- producing exquisite drawings that revealed unprecedented detail... Image

Imagine pitching this:

“Let’s carve out a mountain - and make it into you.”

Dinocrates wanted to do just that.

Alexander the Great had a surprising answer...

In 1950, archaeologists uncovered a broken clay tablet in Syria.

It turned out to be the first written music in human history.

The Hurrian Hymn to Nikkal

In the 1950s, archaeologists digging in Ugarit (modern-day Ras Shamra, Syria) uncovered something astonishing.

A set of 36 cuneiform tablets.

One of them contained something humanity had never seen before:

- music from 1400 BC
Hurrian Hymn No. 6 is the oldest surviving piece of music in the world.

It predates the Greek musical system by nearly a thousand years.

And unlike earlier artifacts, it contains both lyrics and instructions on how to play it. Image

He claimed stars shaped the Soul.

As Above, So Below.

His Astronomia Magna blended alchemy, astronomy, and medicine and dared to defy the entire scientific world.

Here's the story of the forgotten genius who challenged how we heal: 🧵 Picture created by Classical Aegis-- classicalaegis.com
Paracelsus was a rebel.

He burned the medical textbooks of Galen and Avicenna in public.

- arguing that true knowledge came from Nature.

- not ancient authorities... Image
So, what is Astronomia Magna?

It’s a treatise on the interconnectedness of the cosmos and humanity.

He believed celestial and earthly elements were not separate but part of a living, breathing system.

The macrocosm (universe) and microcosm (human) were mirrors of each other... Image

In Egypt there lies a structure so ancient and enigmatic, it defies explanation.

Built below ground.

With stones exceeding 100 tons.

Along with a sacred symbol etched into its walls.

This is the story of The Osirion at Abydos: 🧵 Image
The Osirion isn’t your average Egyptian temple.

It's a subterranean megalithic complex.

- filled with engineering puzzles, astronomical precision…

…and a mysterious carving known today as the Flower of Life... Image
It sits at the rear of the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (below).

- a city sacred to Osiris, god of the afterlife

However, the two structures couldn’t be more different.

Seti’s temple is refined.

The Osirion is ... primeval... Image
