One of the central characters that agitated for a split of the PCUS (that became the PCA), Nelson Bell, was also under Howard Pew’s patronage.

Carl Henry shifted from the hard political right to the covert political right with a façade of moderation.

Lindsell went on to radicalize evangelicalism around the issue of Inerrancy (moving it out of insular Reformed Presbyterian circles).
