The news on Friday 11 February 2025 was about an ICE raid on a Marijuana Grow operation in California, that employed more than 100 Illegal migrants,

some of them former gang members with criminal records in hiding, plus 10 children without families anywhere around. Illegals mostly being paid slave wages and child labor - all illegal.

Yet, when ICE showed up, organized (paid) protesters showed up as well, throwing stones at ICE agents, intentionally trying to injure them, and stones cannot only injure, they can kill. Not to mention some of the protesters attacking had guns and one used one.

So, what should be done about stonethrowers?

Though throwing stones at a public official fits several crime definitions, in addition to assault with intent to injure or kill, it is also interference with a public official involved in official duties.

The penalty can be arrest,
prosecution, and jail time for all these counts.

But the immediate response?

Self-defense is the basic human right. So, how can one defend against a threat from a deadly weapon?

Right? A deadly response.

And, this goes for civilians attacked by stone throwers as well. Self-defense is a basic right."
