Inside the Mind of a Propagandist

A top Russian official just dropped a post filled with hate, fear, and psychological warfare.

We broke it down line by line to show how modern propaganda actually works.

#Disinformation #Propaganda Image
“European morons have agreed on the 18th package of sanctions…”

Tactic: Mockery + Dehumanization

Right from the start: no facts, just name-calling.

Why?

🔹 It shuts down empathy
🔹 Signals tribal loyalty
🔹 Makes cruelty feel casual
“It makes no sense to write that it is capable of changing Russia’s position…”

Tactic: Denial of impact

He’s not arguing — he’s performing invincibility.

This says: “Sanctions are useless. We’re unshakable.”

It’s about psychological armor, not truth.
“The rout of the Banderite regime will continue…”

Tactic: Sanitizing violence

“Rout” sounds clean. “Banderite” is code for “enemy scum.”

🔹 No civilians
🔹 No suffering

Just an “operation” against bad people

Language turns war into routine
“Miserable Balts, insolent Finns, underdeveloped Poles…”

Tactic: Racist contempt

This isn’t random. It’s a script:

🔹 Humiliate your neighbors
🔹 Paint them as inferior
🔹 Stoke superiority in your audience

Propaganda thrives on punching down
“Germany and France… haunted by the Third Reich and Vichy regime”

Tactic: Historical blame shift

This is projection.

It implies: “We’re not the Nazis. They are.”

Using real trauma to smear critics is a classic authoritarian move

Reframe guilt, invert history
“Learn to hate them… Hate is the most important weapon…”

Tactic: Weaponized emotion

This is chilling.

🔹 Turns hate into duty
🔹 Makes it sound noble
🔹 Rewires morality: “Hate brings us to love”

This is not rhetoric. It’s radicalization.
“Disgusting old woman Ursula… thinks with one part of her body”

Tactic: Sexist ridicule

When they can’t refute you, they reduce you

🔹 Gendered slurs
🔹 Sexualized insult
🔹 Mocking competence

It’s a tactic meant to humiliate and distract
“Heart of Russia’s war machine… not sure where the heart is”

Tactic: Invulnerability theater

He’s mocking the West’s strike

Not because it didn’t hurt — but to project dominance

Propaganda never admits pain. It only laughs
This isn’t just a rant. It’s a blueprint.

🔹 Dehumanize the enemy
🔹 Rewire moral instincts
🔹 Replace thinking with loyalty

Propaganda isn’t always subtle. Sometimes it hits like a brick.

Know the tactics. Break the spell.

This thread just for fun.

The *ussians seemed pretty peeved over this latest "strike" :)) so I thought I'll dissect the response and see just how peeved they really are :))))))

GRU by the Numbers: Inside Russia’s Hybrid War Machine

The UK's 2025 intelligence profile reveals how Russia’s GRU blends hacking, sabotage, and propaganda across borders.

Let’s look at the numbers — and what they mean.

#HybridThreat #CyberWarfare #GRU Image
🇷🇺 The GRU isn’t one unit.

It’s an integrated system of cyber, covert, and influence operations.

This thread covers:

🔹 3 core units
🔹 8+ malware tools
🔹 20+ major attacks
🔹 Global targeting from Ukraine to the Olympics

Source linked below
3 elite GRU units

🔹 Unit 26165 — APT28: espionage, leaks, malware
🔹 Unit 74455 — Sandworm: destructive infrastructure ops
🔹 Unit 29155 — Cadet Blizzard: sabotage, poisonings, wipers

Each one plays a role. Together: hybrid warfare.

🧵 Values are oxygen.

Without them, society doesn’t just get worse.

It suffocates.

This is a thread about why values matter — especially for the state — and why the rule of law is how we keep our democracies breathing. Image
Not every citizen will live by perfect ideals.

We lie sometimes.
We cut corners.
We fail each other.

That’s human.

But the state cannot afford that luxury.

It has to be better than us.
When politicians say, “I’m just like you,” be careful.

You don’t want your surgeon to be “just like you.”

Or your pilot. Or your judge.

You want them to be trained. Accountable. Guided by higher standards.

🧵 When Ideals Are Captured by Empires

A thread about what happened to communism once it became a tool of the Soviet state — and how that legacy still poisons the world today. Image
Communism promised a new world.

No kings.
No landlords.
No inherited power.
A system for workers.
A society of equals.

That was the dream — in books, in cells, in whispers in the dark.
But the moment the Bolsheviks seized power, the dream started to shrink.

Not because of capitalism. Because of power itself.

And because Russia — an empire already — never gave up its taste for control.

Russia isn’t misunderstood.

It’s not confused or cornered.

It has made choices — over and over — to back violence, crush truth, and sabotage the world’s progress.

And those choices have consequences far beyond its borders.

#CognitiveWarfare #Disinformation Image
Since the Soviet days, Moscow has chosen domination over development.

Tanks in Prague.
Terror in Grozny.
Poison in London.
Chemical weapons in Syria.

It’s never been about peace. It’s been about control — always.
Wherever democracy struggles to take root, Russia shows up — not to help, but to snuff it out.

It backs coups in Africa.
It props up dictators in Belarus and Venezuela.
It sells repression like an export.

Not by accident. On purpose.

“Russia’s Lies Tell the Truth — About Russia”

Kremlin propaganda isn’t just manipulation.

It’s a mirror.

Each lie reveals a fear, a weakness, or a goal.

Here’s what Russia’s biggest falsehoods really say — about Russia.

#CognitiveWarfare #NarrativeSecurity Image
1️⃣ “Ukraine is full of Nazis.”

What it says: Russia is de-Nazifying.

What it reveals: Russia needs moral cover for a war it can’t justify.

Fascism is projection — a lie wrapped in stolen memory.
2️⃣ “The West is equally corrupt.”

What it says: Don’t trust anyone.

What it reveals: Russia can’t win a values war — so it tries to destroy values altogether.

Cynicism is a shield for authoritarianism.

Russia doesn’t just fight with tanks and troops.

It fights with stories.

A war on how we think.

Here’s what we’ve learned from the @TheStudyofWar report on Russian cognitive warfare — and how to fight back.

#CognitiveWarfare #NarrativeWarfare Image
@TheStudyofWar 📖 Section 1: Historical Context

Russia’s cognitive warfare isn’t new.

It’s rooted in Soviet doctrine — refined over decades.

It doesn’t just deceive.

It aims to shape how opponents reason.

Once you adopt the Kremlin’s premises, it’s already won.
@TheStudyofWar 🎯 Section 2: Intent

Putin’s goals are clear:

Keep his regime alive

Control Ukraine & neighbors

Break NATO

Undermine US power

But Russia can’t win by force alone.

So it fights to control the narrative — to make resistance feel pointless.
