I Spy With My Little Eye Something Beginning With…Nazi?
"He's on our side and that's all that matters," chuckled Allen Dulles, the US intelligence officer during World War Two who later headed the CIA. "Besides, one need not ask a Gehlen to one's club."
Reinhard Gehlen had been Adolph Hitler's chief intelligence officer against the Soviet Union. His American captors had dressed him up in one of their uniforms to deceive the Soviets, who were hunting him as a war criminal. Now US intelligence was going to deploy Gehlen and his network of spies against the Soviets. The Cold War was on.
In 2002, the CIA released partial documents that revealed details of a secret program it initiated shortly after it was formed. It actually started before the CIA was created, by the USOF in the US Zone of post war Germany. The USOF, or OSS, was the precursor to the CIA, and the group formed in Germany was called the Gehlen Organization, founded by Reinhard Gehlen.
The organization was made up of several dozen former Nazi spies and senior officers, but after being fully under the control of the CIA in 1947, and receiving a significant budget of over $200 million, the organization began a major recruitment campaign locating thousands of former Nazi officers who had escaped prosecution and had fled to various parts of Europe, and beyond.
In the late 1950’s, the Gehlen Organization transitioned into the new German Intelligence Bureau, the BND, but the relationship with the CIA, which many believed ended in 1956, had not ended. It expanded, evolved, and it still continues today.
The CIA were especially interested in the Gehlen Organization’s expansion into the Middle East and West Germany itself. In West Germany, the CIA found value in the organization’s connections across Europe and within the Soviet Union and surrounding countries. But their greatest interest lay in the organization’s links and connections within the Middle East, particularly with powerful Muslim leaders, religious leaders, and how easily and effectively the former Nazis were able to influence entire societies through their propaganda. Although they were aware that all Middle Eastern members and agents were driving antisemitic and anti Israel propaganda, they supported the organization due to their ability to influence the most powerful people in the region, often running cover for regional members and using them for their own interests in exchange for support from the regional powers supporting their interests in Europe and against the Soviets.
Now what’s interesting is that this isn’t where this story begins or ends. To get to the beginning of the story, we need to go back nearly four decades (plus about 500 years of historical context), in two totally different directions simultaneously, and then follow events that would merge two worlds that would ultimately form an alliance that exists stronger than ever to this day.

The Russian Revolution
In the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, a large part of the Jewish diaspora in Europe had settled in Eastern Europe to escape the persecution of Jews in the West. The migration East began in the 11th century due to the Crusades, where the Catholic Church together with various Western European nobility wanted to take control of the Holy Land. Further migration occurred between the 13th and 16th centuries, and then more in the 1800’s. Eastern Europe, especially Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania, was seen as more tolerant towards Jews.
But as the Russian Orthodox Church grew, and social inequality became increasingly more common, Jews became the target scapegoat for both sides. In the early 1900’s, prior to World War One, a document was first created and published that would later be proven to be entirely fabricated - The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Even this document was based on an earlier document written by a Lithuanian Jew, Jacob Brafman, in 1860, who had had a personal conflict with a Jewish organization, and retaliated by converting to Russian Orthodoxy and writing a false story about a Jewish cabal. His story spread, as did antisemitism, and the result led to a number of pogroms that killed hundreds of Jews, including entire communities of women and children.
But when the Protocols of Zion were published, it spread across all of Europe by extremist nationalist organizations and was published in over 30 languages. All the very same conspiracy theories and slogans you hear today were driving the Jew hatred then:
The Jews control all governments and banks
The Jews killed Jesus
G-D gave his covenant to the Christians and not the Jews
The Jews were responsible for the Black Death and Bubonic Plague
The Jews caused the famine
The Jews controlled the weather through occult rituals
Sound familiar?
During this period, social unrest was beginning to spread and boil over, led by communists who wanted to overthrow the monarchy. Russia and much of Eastern Europe was divided in two, with nationalists on one side and communists on the other. Both sides demanded the support of the Jews, but the Jewish people didn’t want to take sides. This led to the beginning of pogroms that eventually resulted in up to 250,000 Jewish deaths.
In 1917, the Russian Revolution started, and the communists led by Lenin and Trotsky would eventually win and overthrow the monarchy. It’s estimated that around 10 million people died as a result, both due to massacres and violence, but also due to famine and disease. As the Soviet Union was born, the nationalists fled west, settling in Ukraine, Poland, and… Germany.
What many people don’t know is that many of these nationalists from Eastern Europe and Russia helped create what would later become - the Nazis.
Lenin who led the Bolsheviks was always a fighter against antisemitism, and though he was a Marxist, he felt antisemitism was an evil that should never be allowed. Unlike what propagandists claim, Lenin was born a Russian Orthodox Christian from his father, and his mother was a Lutheran. He was a pupil of Marxism and this clashed with the nationalists of Russia.
After Lenin died in 1924, Stalin took over. Stalin, unlike Lenin, was fiercely antisemitic, and frequently blamed the Jews for a variety of problems in the Soviet bloc. He instigated numerous pogroms against Jewish communities. With the rising power of the Nazis, Stalin signed a number of pacts with Germany, and both countries invaded Poland almost simultaneously.
However, the Nazis were fiercely anti-communist, and eventually invaded the Soviet Union with Operation Barbarossa in 1941, resulting in millions of soviets starved and killed, and the murder of over a million Soviet Jews. This led the Soviet Union to join the allied forces against the Nazi-led axis, and changed the dynamic of World War Two.

The Grand Mufti
Before the British Mandate of Palestine, Jews from both Europe and other lands in the Middle East had already begun to migrate back to their ancestral homeland in Israel during the days of the Ottoman Empire.
Now it’s very important to state that not all Jews left the land after the Romans forced the Jews to leave Jerusalem and after the destruction of the second temple. Thousands of Jews moved to settlements and towns surrounding Jerusalem and further west and north. During the early days of the Ottoman Empire, Jews fled Spain and Portugal during the Spanish Inquisition and settled in Tiberius and Jerusalem, and became “friends” of the Ottomans. But the Ottoman Empire had two problems across its entire empire that would eventually become its greatest enemy - Islamic Arab nationalism in the Middle East and North Africa, and Western European nationalism.
As I’ve written before, Zionism and a return of Jews to their original homeland began as a movement during the early days of the Ottoman Empire, but their tolerance of Jews allowed Jews to move to Eastern Europe as the Ottoman Empire expanded as far East as Ukraine. Thousands of Jews returned to the Holy Land between the 16th and 18th centuries. Then as antisemitism began to grow in Europe again, and Arabs became angry that Jews were given more rights in the Middle East rather than as simple Dhimmis, a spate of pogroms began. Arab Islamists slaughtered hundreds of Jews, especially women and children in order to wipe out future generations and to frighten European Jews from returning, in Safed and Hebron in 1517 during the Ottoman-Mamluk wars, in Jerusalem in 1701 and 1799 due to Jewish communities returning from Lithuania and Russia, in Gaza in 1596, in Tiberius in 1660, in Hebron again in 1834 by the Egyptian army, and in Safed in 1834 and 1838.
In the 1860’s, further Jewish migrants returned, from both Eastern Europe and from Lebanon and Syria, and built communities and towns around Jerusalem and Safed. In the 1881, the first official “Aliyah” began. More than 25000 Jews returned to the land from both Eastern Europe and Yemen due to pogroms against Jews in both.
This all took place before modern political Zionism in the late 1890’s which is often used as propaganda against the Jews.
In the early 1900’s, a new powerful movement of Arab nationalism began, with the ambition of overthrowing a weakening Ottoman Empire, and rebuilding the Umayyad Caliphate that had ruled Bilad al Sham, or Greater Syria. The Umayyads were succeeded by the Abbasid caliphate which had Baghdad as its capital until the Mongol war when they reestablished themselves in Cairo until they were defeated and overthrown by the Ottoman Empire. Greater Syria, which was made up of Israel, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, southern Turkey, Iraq and most of Kuwait, has been inverted in propaganda to portray Greater Israel and used as a blood libel against the Jews for half a century.
The fall of the Ottoman Empire after World War One by the British and French forces allied with the Arab nationalists in Cairo and the Hashemites of what would become Saudi Arabia led to the British and French betrayal of the Arabs and the publication of the Balfour Declaration.

He wanted to bring all the Jewish people back to the land. But another Arab nationalist who would become the most influential and powerful figure, the British appointed Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Mohammed Amin al Husseini, was totally against it. He refused to allow Jews to ever rule any land and believed Jews were subservient to Muslims. In 1919, he formed Arab militias with the hopes of driving all the Jews out of the land, began a wave of massacres and attacks on the Jews that would continue for 16 years, starting with the riots in Jerusalem in 1920, as well as the attacks on the Jewish community in Tel Hai. The Jews anticipated the anti Jewish movement and formed groups led by soldiers from the Jewish legion of the British army to protect the Jewish community, as well as a few WW1 veterans of the American army who were killed by the Arabs while defending the Jews in Tel Hai in 1920.
As the British were given the Mandate to rule the land and called it the Mandate of Palestine, Amin al Husseini began to build relations with several far right leaders across Europe. One of the first Western Far-Right activists to openly flirt with political Islam was Robert Gordon-Canning, the foreign policy chief of the British Union of Fascists. An admirer of Islam who had become disaffected with the West and Christianity, he took up the cause in the 1930s and tried to act as the Mufti's spokesman in Britain. He pioneered an amalgam of Far-Right and Islamic anti-Semitism, presenting Zionism as a conspiracy of Jewish bankers, which sought to subjugate or eradicate the Arabs for their imperial interests. In language similar to al-Qaeda, which derisively calls its enemies the "Jewish-Crusader alliance", Gordon-Canning referred to Zionism as the "tenth crusade".

When the Nazis were allegedly defeated by the Soviet Union and allied forces (and I use the term allegedly because as this article will show you, the Nazis were anything but defeated), many former Nazi officers, including some of the worst perpetrators of crimes against humanity, went into hiding. Many were aided by the Catholic Church and were helped to escape to various places across Europe, South America, and the Middle East.
The Americans had initiated Operation Paperclip and Operation Overcast where thousands of Nazi scientists, doctors and engineers were brought over to the United States and given new identities and positions within the Department of Defense, Intelligence community and government. They were integrated into American society and began working on the US Space program as well as new military technologies, pharmaceuticals, synthetic fuels and other industries. The US earned billions of Dollars from patents and contracts from what was developed.
At the same time, the Soviet Union initiated Operation Osoaviakhim, which was the same as Paperclip and thousands of Nazi scientists and engineers developed similar programs and products for them.
With the Soviet Union defeating the Nazis, many Russian nationalists who were anti-Communists and former Nazi officers were recruited to the Gehlen Organization, all under the authority and control of the CIA. Their remit was to spy on and sabotage the Soviets, and to ally with nationalist groups in every Soviet state, specifically Ukraine, Estonia, and Bulgaria.
Allen Dulles dubbed it Operation Sunrise. He mounted it from his walk-up office in Bern, Switzerland, where since 1942 he had maintained contact with key nazis. Operation Sunrise was conceived when these nazis decided, in the face of defeat, that they preferred to surrender to the Americans and British. The agreement, which double-crossed the Soviets, was signed April 29, 1945.
The principle negotiator on the German side was SS Commander Karl Wolff, head of the Gestapo in Italy. Wolff acted with full authority, for he was formerly chief of Heinrich Himmler's personal staff. Wolff’s relationship with Dulles spared him from the dock at Nuremberg, but when it was later discovered that he had dispatched "at least" 300,000 Jews to the Treblinka death camp, he was handed a token sentence.
One group of soviets they used to undermine and sabotage the communists were the Muslims of the Soviet Union, who themselves were the victims of persecution under Stalin. Islam was and remains the second largest religion in the Soviet Union, with more than 40 million people identifying as Muslims during the Soviet era.
At the same time as the Gehlen Organization was recruiting former Nazis against the Communists of the Soviet Union, the Grand Mufti who had escaped Nazi Germany after spending 4 years as a guest and collaborator of Hitler returned to the Middle East and settled in Egypt. He immediately began to publish and spread propaganda against the Jews throughout Egypt and across the entire region. He also began to recruit former Nazis who’d escaped Germany after the war to bring them to the region to build an entire propaganda machine to drive antisemitism everywhere.

Islam was and remains the second largest religion in the Soviet Union, with more than 40 million people identifying as Muslims during the Soviet era.
At the same time as the Gehlen Organization was recruiting former Nazis against the Communists of the Soviet Union, the Grand Mufti who had escaped Nazi Germany after spending 4 years as a guest and collaborator of Hitler returned to the Middle East and settled in Egypt. He immediately began to publish and spread propaganda against the Jews throughout Egypt and across the entire region. He also began to recruit former Nazis who’d escaped Germany after the war to bring them to the region to build an entire propaganda machine to drive antisemitism everywhere.

Himmler installed one of his loyalists, hoping to gain control of the rival ministry. But von Mende emerged from the shakeup unscathed. Indeed, he got a promotion-advancing from head of the Ostministerium's Caucasus division to head of the "Foreign Peoples" division-essentially overseeing the Ostministerium's entire policy toward Soviet minorities.

When leaflets were printed, listening radio broadcast times and frequencies, the American role in the endeavor was purposely obfuscated, according to minutes of Amcomlib board meetings.

In the sanctuary of Argentina, a Nazi officer who worked directly under Goebbels in the Nazis’ Ministry of Propaganda found refuge and a senior position in the government of Juan Peron. Peron himself was a Nationalist Socialist, and spent time in Europe during his military career in fascist Italy as well as Nazi Germany, then later in Communist Soviet Union. It was his time in Germany that aligned his own political views with Nationalist Socialism.
After World War Two, many of the most senior Nazi officials found refuge in Argentina, including Mengele and Eichmann. One other who found his way there was Johann Von Leers.
Von Leers was seen by many as one of the most influential Jew haters in the Nazi regime. Within weeks of landing in Argentina, he began to write in a Nazi publication founded in Argentina called Der Weg, in 1947, and also founded a Nazi radio station that focused entirely on anti Jewish propaganda. In the mid 1950’s, he was commissioned by an Egyptian military attaché in Argentina, Hasan Ismail, to create and conduct a major anti Jewish campaign in Argentina. It was so successful that it led to numerous attacks on Jews in Argentina, and caught the attention of… the Grand Mufti Amin al Husseini.
In 1956, Amin al Husseini personally hired Von Leers to a senior position in Cairo. Upon landing in Cairo, Von Leers was introduced to Egyptian leader, Nasser, tasked with creating anti Israel propaganda. Von Leers converted to Islam and changed his name to Omar Amin, and given the role as Head of the Anti Israel Propaganda Unit. As part of his remit, he wrote the entire curriculum for Egyptian schools that was entirely anti Jewish and anti Israel, and is still used today. Not only is this Nazi propaganda used in schools, universities and institutions across Egypt, it was also used and became the basis for the school curriculum for most of the Arab Islamic world across the region, and also by another entity - UNRWA.
Von Leers, now known as Omar Amin, was the architect and author of the very educational curriculum used across the entire school system of the United Nations in the Middle East, from Gaza, Samaria and Judea all the way to Damascus and Beirut and Amman and as far away as Saudi Arabia. It also became the curriculum used after the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Albert Huber, later called Ahmed Huber after he converted to Islam in the early 1960’s in the Muslim Brotherhood Islamic Center in Geneva, and then again in Cairo in 1962 to appease the Egyptian government who was against the Muslim Brotherhood, met with Amin al Husseini and Omar Amin in Cairo and quickly became a protege of Omar.
Huber was a fervent antisemite and what made him so unique is that he was both an extremist Islamist and an ultra right wing Hitler fanatic. Shortly after arriving in Egypt, Huber spent almost all of his time with Omar and Husseini, and was obsessed with the Grand Mufti who would share all his stories and details about his alliance with Hitler, how he wrote and helped to develop what would ultimately be the “Final Solution to the Jewish Problem” which the Nazis adopted and implemented, and how he pushed Hitler to implement the same “solution” across the British Mandate of Palestine and the entire Middle East.
Huber was also infatuated with Omar, especially with how he continued in his role that he did so well in the Nazi regime. Omar was in contact with many former Nazi officers who were based across the Middle East.
One of the former Nazi officers introduced to Huber was a powerful Swiss Nazi financier, Francois Genoud.

He had founded a Geneva-based bank called the Arab Commercial Bank which he used to finance arms deals to various Islamic terror organizations, including the PFLP, and the FLN during the Algerian War. He also supported numerous ultra left wing anti Israel terrorists across Western Europe who were part of the Carlos (Carlos the Jackal) network, and visited Carlos at his home in Damascus frequently.
Genoud was instrumental in financing the escape of hundreds of senior Nazi officers out of Germany. Genoud helped many escape to Peron’s Argentina, while others he helped get to the Middle East. It was through this introduction that Huber learned that Genoud was an active member of the Muslim Brotherhood and the personal banker managing the family fortune of the Grand Mufti.
Among his close friends and associates, Genoud was friends with Marxist-Leninist assassin and terrorist Carlos the Jackal, former Gestapo officer and Interpol head Paul Dickopf (who was also later revealed to have been secretly working for the CIA to spy on the West German government as well as other European states), and Wadie Haddad, the PFLP terrorist best known for his role in the Entebbe hijacking, and who was also later a KGB agent. And Genoud was a very close friend of one other important figure in this story… Karl Wolff.
Genoud was also the person who bankrolled Ayatollah Khomenei during his exile in France during the years of the Shah. It was this that got the attention of the CIA, who then worked with Genoud to return the Ayatollah to Iran, and begin the Iranian Islamic Revolution of 1979.
Through his relationship with Amin al Husseini and numerous other Islamic terror groups, Genoud was very active in his support of Islamic terrorist organizations working to attack and destroy the state of Israel. He worked closely on this with Otto Ernest Remer. Remer would send the terrorist groups large shipments of weapons and ammunition from West Germany and other Western countries. Remer himself was a socialist but received significant funding from the Soviet Union and formed the Communist Party of Germany. It was believed, but never proven, that he was hired by the KGB.
Genoud, through his close relationship with the Amin al Husseini, also had a close relationship and friendship with the head of the PLO and nephew of Husseini, Yasser Arafat. Together with Remer, they would support Arafat financially and through their European political connections, but not with weapons due to the fact that the PLO had a relationship with the KGB and Soviets who supplied the PLO with everything they needed.

During WW2, the OSS took in around 900 scholars for its Research and Analysis department, many being European exiles (Frans Neumann, Herbert Marcuse, John Herz). The OSS episode is interesting for how the expertise of the exiles eventually overcame suspicions of their possible divided loyalties in a wartime situation. In the early Cold War period, Central and East European exiles took on greater significance through the national units that were incorporated into the sprawling CIA-financed Free Europe Committee.
Established in 1949 ostensibly as the public fund-raising and lobbying front for Radio Free Europe, NCFE was more than simply another CIA outlet for controlling the message. Its founding document, ‘The Inauguration of Political Warfare’ penned by George Kennan in May 1948, fully understood the mobilizing power of exile politics within an immigrant nation such as the United States, both in terms of the moral argument (the mission to promote universal freedoms), and in terms of political lobbying for the anti-communist cause in Congress, during elections, and in the public sphere at large.
An interesting side-line to this were the exile universities established before and after WW2. In 1933 Alvin Johnson established the University in Exile as an off-shoot of the New School for Social Research in New York, a graduate school that became the academic residency for 183 émigré intellectuals and which was supported by the Rockefeller Foundation. Many of those at Johnson’s institute went on to provide research services for the OSS during the war. This linkage between exiles, educational institutions, and intelligence continued in the Cold War in the form of ‘covert universities’. The Free Europe Committee established the Free European University in Exile in Strasbourg in 1951 for Central and East European exiles. Very much representative of the ‘Rollback’ mentality of US Cold Warriors who considered Soviet control of Eastern Europe to be temporary, the University ran a curriculum that focused on European history, political philosophy, and economic development, coaching its participants for what were hoped to be future leading positions in their home countries.
Another example is that of Pro Deo. Felix Morlion, a Belgian Dominican, founded the Centre d’information et publication Pro Deo in 1932 in Brussels, an anti-totalitarian propaganda organization that sought to make use of the latest methods of communication science. Going into exile in 1940, first to Lisbon and then – thanks to William J. Donovan and the Office of Strategic Services – to New York, Morlion’s trans-European Catholic underground began providing reports on occupied Europe.
In late 1944 Donovan sent Morlion to Rome to work out of the Vatican of Pope Pius XII. It was there that Morlion founded the School of Mass Communication Media, the graduates of which would form the backbone of Luigi Gedda’s Catholic Action. A prominent figure in the anti-communist campaign that focused on the 1948 Italian elections, Morlion was soon on the radar of other determined anti-communist zealots such as Henry Luce and C.D. Jackson, who would go on to lead an affiliate, the American Council for the International Promotion of Democracy under God.
By the early 1950s Morlion, now running the US-orientated University of the Social Sciences Pro Deo in Rome, was clearly implicated in the same CIA-linked circles as the Free Europe Committee. Thousands of dollars were channeled to Pro Deo during that decade, overseen by Luce’s Catholic wife, Clair Booth, in her capacity as US ambassador to Italy in the same period. By the early 60s Morlion moved away from this CIA sponsorship and Pro Deo lost its distinctly American outlook, but for the previous decade his institution had been similar to the Free Europe Committee’s Strasbourg operation in providing a form of American-styled instruction for East European exiles.

The Free Europe Committee established the Free European University in Exile in Strasbourg in 1951 for Central and East European exiles. Very much representative of the ‘Rollback’ mentality of US Cold Warriors who considered Soviet control of Eastern Europe to be temporary, the University ran a curriculum that focused on European history, political philosophy, and economic development, coaching its participants for what were hoped to be future leading positions in their home countries.
Another example is that of Pro Deo. Felix Morlion, a Belgian Dominican, founded the Centre d’information et publication Pro Deo in 1932 in Brussels, an anti-totalitarian propaganda organization that sought to make use of the latest methods of communication science. Going into exile in 1940, first to Lisbon and then – thanks to William J. Donovan and the Office of Strategic Services – to New York, Morlion’s trans-European Catholic underground began providing reports on occupied Europe.
In late 1944 Donovan sent Morlion to Rome to work out of the Vatican of Pope Pius XII. It was there that Morlion founded the School of Mass Communication Media, the graduates of which would form the backbone of Luigi Gedda’s Catholic Action. A prominent figure in the anti-communist campaign that focused on the 1948 Italian elections, Morlion was soon on the radar of other determined anti-communist zealots such as Henry Luce and C.D. Jackson, who would go on to lead an affiliate, the American Council for the International Promotion of Democracy under God.
By the early 1950s Morlion, now running the US-orientated University of the Social Sciences Pro Deo in Rome, was clearly implicated in the same CIA-linked circles as the Free Europe Committee. Thousands of dollars were channeled to Pro Deo during that decade, overseen by Luce’s Catholic wife, Clair Booth, in her capacity as US ambassador to Italy in the same period. By the early 60s Morlion moved away from this CIA sponsorship and Pro Deo lost its distinctly American outlook, but for the previous decade his institution had been similar to the Free Europe Committee’s Strasbourg operation in providing a form of American-styled instruction for East European exiles.

His life’s work, everything he did over the past 30 years, his entire network of secret operatives, and his clandestine programs and operations that were kept Top Secret were all about to be exposed if he didn’t toe the line. Details were handed to the Attorney General at the time, Robert Kennedy, who was the brother of President John F Kennedy.
What came after left many questions still unanswered.

When Karl Wolff hammered out the secret surrender terms with Allen Dulles, he had in the back of his mind a safe diaspora for his nazi compatriots. This is where the OSS, William Donovan and the sovereign state of the Vatican came in.
Donovan had moved Father Felix Morlion to a building New York, and that same building was the office of William Taub, whose name popped up during the Watergate affair.
Taub is well-known as a wide-ranging middleman for such powerful figures as Nixon, Howard Hughes, Aristotle Onassis and Jimmy Hoffa, and his behind-the-scenes maneuvers were invaluable to Nixon in his 1960 run at the presidency. Taub was especially close to Cardinal Alfredo Ottaviania of the Holy See, who arranged Mussolini's 1929 "donation" of $89 million to the Vatican to ensure its neutrality with Mussolini and Hitler. The money went into a special fund in the Vatican Bank, and after the war part of it was entrusted to "God's Banker" Michele Sindona for investment. Sindona channeled a good chunk of it to the Nixon campaign.
In recognition of Donovan's good works on behalf of Pro Deo, Pope Plus XII knighted him with the Grand Cross of the Order of St. Sylvester. And before he flew off to Washington to cut his deal with the CIA, Reinhard Gehlen received the Sovereign Military Order of Malta award from the Pontiff. So did James Jesus Angleton, a Donovan operative in Rome who became the CIA's chief of counterintelligence.
For Dulles, Operation Sunrise was a personal triumph, one that set in motion his rise to the top of the intelligence heap. In 1963, by virtue of that position, he became the CIA's representative on the Warren Commission.
Another person appointed to the Warren Commission was John McCloy. McCloy said he entered the investigation "thinking there was a conspiracy," but after meeting with old friend Allen Dulles, he left it convinced that Oswald acted alone. "I never saw a case that was more completely proven," he asserted.
It’s important to note that McCloy was on the government task force that created the OSS, and was responsible for appointing Allen Dulles to lead it.
McCloy had long been involved in the murky world of espionage, intrigue and nazis. He spent the decade of the 1930s working out of Paris. Much of his time was spent on a law case stemming from German sabotage in World War I. His investigation took him to Berlin, where he shared a box with Hitler at the 1936 Olympics. He was in regular contact with Rudolph Hess before the Nazi leader made a mysterious flight to England in 1941.
As an assistant secretary in the War Department during the war, McCloy blocked the executions of nazi war criminals, forged a pact with the Vichy Regime of pro-nazi Admiral Darlan, displaced Japanese-Americans in California to internment camps, refused to recommend the bombing of nazi concentration camps to spare the inmates on grounds "the cost would be out of proportion to any possible benefits.", and refused Jewish refugees entry to the US.
Another Soviet born anti-communist who became a CIA operative was George de Mohrenschildt. His name became synonymous with conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination of President Kennedy, because he was believed by conspiracy theorists to have been a KGB agent who was the handler for Lee Harvey Oswald. But when one does the research into his life, there appears to be another side that seems to have been meticulously buried… his ties with Amcomlib and the Nazis of Reinhard Gehlen.
Dozens of names mentioned in the investigation of the JFK assassination happened to be CIA spies or assets, with almost all of them having links directly to Karl Wolff and Reinhard Gehlen, all at a time when organization was still highly classified and thus protected from scrutiny.

The Man who Knew Nothing, yet Knew it All
I’ve already mentioned George de Mohrenschildt. Not only was he a covert CIA operative and a very close friend of Lee Harvey Oswald, but he also had another “very close friend” who was there but wasn’t there, knew so much yet couldn’t quite remember where he was on that day - George W Bush Sr.
Now aside from being a long time CIA operative, Bush Sr later became Director of the CIA. And though the files of the assassination of JFK were kept secret for decades, there was another assassination attempt that was “solved” in just 5 hours, with the files being kept classified to this day for no real reason other than many of the names involved. This was the assassination attempt of President Ronald Reagan.
Now the shooter on that occasion was John Hinckley Jr, the son of the founder and CEO of Vanderbilt Petroleum, John Hinckley Sr. What’s interesting is that Reagan’s Vice President was George Bush Sr, and Bush was also a very close family friend of the Hinckley’s. Yet when questioned about this shortly after the shooting, Bush stated that he “had never met John Jr”, and didn’t really know anything about him. Yet Bush had known Hinckley Sr and family for decades, and they lived pretty close to one another. Hinckley was also a major donor of Bush’s for years. They would socialize frequently, yet on the day of the assassination attempt, Bush had no recollection. The shooter, Hinckley Jr, never served a day in prison. He was found to be insane and institutionalized for 33 years, being released in 2014. Both the connection between Bush and the Hinckleys and the release of Jr 11 years ago was met with an almost complete media blackout. It was mentioned for a week and then disappeared.
One man, a long time CIA operative and then CIA director, with direct links to Allen Dulles knowledge of the Gehlen Organization as well as the follow up program, and two Presidents who found out about the program and…? Well one was shot, and the other was killed.
But aside from the CIA connection, one other connection lingered. Oil. Oil keeps being a common theme, likely because during their rearmament and rebuilding before World War Two, the Nazis we’re so heavily reliant on oil, and a lot of it. And some of their largest suppliers were American oil companies.

Some of the ships used to transport the oil from the Caribbean and South America to Europe were owned by an Argentine Greek, Aristotle Onassis. Onassis built a shipping empire that would later have vast contracts and connections with… the CIA.

Shortly before his appointment as Secretary General of the United Nations, a resume for Waldheim was put forward. The exact same biography remains today on the United Nations website, and this biography was written for him by the CIA.
Numerous researchers and institutions requested that his files that were kept classified by the CIA be released. But the CIA refused to release them for four decades. It was only when part of the records were declassified that his connection with Gehlen and Wolff became clear, as well as his past with Allen Dulles.

Another bloodline emerged simultaneously. One of Arafat’s closest friends was Ali Hassan Salameh. Ali was the head of operations for Arafat during Black September in 1970, and was the mastermind together with Nazi collaborators in the murder of the Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. During those games, there was intelligence that a likely terrorist operation may take place, but two agencies held this information and took no action… the German BND (formerly the Gehlen Organization), and the CIA.
Ali Hassan’s father was Hasan Salama. Hasan was the closest aide to the Grand Mufti al Husseini and accompanied Husseini to Nazi Germany in 1941 where they both remained throughout the war. Nazar was employed by CIA to agitate against the Soviet Union at the hajj pilgrimage in 1954.
For some pilgrims, the 1954 Hajj was a bit different. Armed with ripe tomatoes and strong lungs, two CIA-sponsored Muslims turned Mecca into the site of a Cold War showdown.
Ruzi Nazar and Hamid Raschid had followed the now familiar path to the West - born in the Soviet Union and captured by the Germans, they collaborated with the Nazis and finally were recruited by US intelligence.
Their target - Soviet hajjis, who, they claimed, were engaged in spreading propaganda. Sponsored by Amcomlib, Nazar and Raschid flew to Jeddah, the Saudi Arabian city closest to Mecca. They claimed to be Turks, got seats on a bus carrying twenty-one Soviet pilgrims to Mecca, and began their work, talking to the Soviet Muslims and trying to sow seeds of doubt about their homeland. When that didn't work, they tailed their prey in Mecca, heckling them.
Nazar's role in the Muslim propaganda war was at times opaque. Although he appeared in the media during the Hajj and the Bandung episode, he disappeared from public view afterward. He would reappear only after the fall of the Soviet Union as an Aksakal, or community leader, of Uzbeks living in the United States.
When the war started, he avoided service and hid with a Ukrainian family. After the Germans overran the region he heard that the great Turkic leader Mustafa Chokay was trying to unite Turkic peoples and form a government in exile. He found out that Chokay had died of typhus while inspecting a German prisoner-of-war camp. Still, Nazar joined a Turkic unit and fought for the Germans. He was wounded twice and sent to officer training school in the German province of Lothringen (Now the French province of Lorraine).
Nazar was later attached to the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht, the German army's supreme command. In 1946, he served as a representative to the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations but declined an offer from his old friend Baymirza Hayit to leave the US sector for the British sector and work for the National Turkestani Unity Committee. In the early 1950's he was recruited by the legendary CIA spymaster Archibald Roosevelt Jr. to go to the United States.
Nazar might have looked down on Amcomlib, but evidence suggests he worked for it. In their articles about Nazar's Hajj in 1954, both The New York Times and Time magazine reported he had been sent by Amcomlib (which was depicted as a private organization). Minutes of Amcomlib board meetings show that group members viewed Nazar as a key to their covert propaganda strategy, calling him a "damn good man, useful in several operations of the American Committee."

When the war started, he avoided service and hid with a Ukrainian family. After the Germans overran the region he heard that the great Turkic leader Mustafa Chokay was trying to unite Turkic peoples and form a government in exile. He found out that Chokay had died of typhus while inspecting a German prisoner-of-war camp. Still, Nazar joined a Turkic unit and fought for the Germans. He was wounded twice and sent to officer training school in the German province of Lothringen (Now the French province of Lorraine).
Nazar was later attached to the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht, the German army's supreme command. In 1946, he served as a representative to the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations but declined an offer from his old friend Baymirza Hayit to leave the US sector for the British sector and work for the National Turkestani Unity Committee. In the early 1950's he was recruited by the legendary CIA spymaster Archibald Roosevelt Jr. to go to the United States.
Nazar might have looked down on Amcomlib, but evidence suggests he worked for it. In their articles about Nazar's Hajj in 1954, both The New York Times and Time magazine reported he had been sent by Amcomlib (which was depicted as a private organization). Minutes of Amcomlib board meetings show that group members viewed Nazar as a key to their covert propaganda strategy, calling him a "damn good man, useful in several operations of the American Committee."

One of the main drivers of the Qatar Education City was none other than… Hilary Clinton.

In a September 20, 2001 interview with the Swiss publication FACTS, Huber claimed that attempts to link Al Taqwa to bin Laden were "an invention of the Mossad."

Through his ties to the PFLP leader Dr. Waddi Haddad (who affectionately dubbed him "Sheikh François"), Genoud befriended Ilich Ramirez Sanchez, better known as
"Carlos the Jackal." Both men remained in close contact right up to Genoud's death.

In October 2000, for example, he addressed the seventh "European congress" of the NPD's youth organization, Junge Nationaldemokraten (JN), on the topic "Islam and the New Right." On September 8, 2001, a few days before the WTC attack, he lectured on "Israel and the Muslim World" to another NPD-sponsored gathering in Saxony that attracted well over 1,000 radical rightists. The September issue of the ND publication Deutsche Stimme also carried a lengthy interview with Huber (conducted before 9/11) in which he praised the Bush Administration for not having any "Jewish Zionist" advisors. "That's very important for us," he remarked. Huber's friendly feelings towards George, Jr. changed radically after he was publicly identified as a potential terrorist supporter. "It is for me an honor," he told the press, "to be put on the list from the USA gangster regime."
While Huber had worked closely with the Sunni wing of Islam represented by the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Taqwa, he had long been a leading supporter of the Shiite fundamentalist regime that took power in Iran in 1979 under the leadership of the Ayatollah Khomeini. Since then, Iran has sponsored countless acts of terrorism, including the Iranian-backed Hezbollah movement's destruction of the US Embassy in Lebanon and, it would appear, the subsequent bombing of Israel's embassy in Argentina. He was a strong lobbyist on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood.
A State Department-sponsored conference on November 15 and 16, 2005, called Muslim Communities Participating in Society: A Belgian-US Dialogue, brought together sixty-five Belgian Muslims and US tutors from the Islamic Society of North America. The US diplomats thought so highly of ISNA that it seems to have been appointed as a co-organizer of the conference.
From a historical perspective, this was almost comical. ISNA was founded by people with extremely close ties to Nada, of al Taqwa Bank, and the Muslim Brotherhood leadership in Europe.
The State Department was importing Muslim Brotherhood Islamists with roots in Europe to tell European Muslims how to organize and integrate. Even more interesting, some of those European Muslims invited to the conference were themselves part of the current Muslim Brotherhood network.
State Department officials acknowledged that they had invited people accused of extremism, but said they did not care about track records. Instead, all that mattered were the groups' or individuals' current statements.
In 2007, a similar project took place in Germany. The US consulate in Munich actively backed the creation of an Islamic academy in the town of Penzberg. The group behind the academy had close ties to Milligorus, essentially a Turkish version of the Muslim Brotherhood, which regularly appears on lists of extremist organizations in Germany.

Obama, Qatar, Iran, and the Muslim Brotherhood
It’s well known and documented that in 2011, President Obama requested that Qatar allow Hamas to set up their Headquarters in Doha to make it easier to communicate with them.
Although the main sponsor of this move was the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad Al Thani, the person most responsible for this was the powerdul Islamic scholar and one of the most senior members of the Muslim Brotherhood, Yusuf al Qaradawi. He had been a fervent supporter of Hamas for decades, and is known as the most vocal Islamic scholar speaking about the need for suicide bombers, and the destruction of the state of Israel.
Qaradawi has given hundreds of sermons and written books on the need to fight the Jewish people not only in Israel and the region , but wherever Jews exist. As one of the founders of al Taqwa Bank together with former Nazi Genoud and right wing Islamist Neo Nazi Ahmed Huber, he was a frequent financial contributor and benefactor of Hamas and several other Islamic extremist organizations.

And even in the current war, it was a CIA analyst who leaked classified information relating to the Israel strike plan to Iran in October 2024. Asif William Rahman had very high level clearance and access to documents marked as Top Secret. Before a number of different strikes and operations against both Hamas and Hezbollah, the plans were discussed in secret talks with US counterparts and each time the plans were disclosed to both Hamas and Hezbollah by Biden’s US negotiating team.
At some point, for the sake of the United States, Israel, and other American allies, perhaps the United States needs to take a look inside and realize it has its greatest threat to its National Security within its most sacred walls. The West is infiltrated.
