Daily Ukraine map thread for Tuesday 22nd July 2025
Highlights: Back to focus on the Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors today, where Ukrainian forces have lost more positions to the Russian advances.
Russian flag raises in Bila Hora by the 7th Military Base's 77th Motor Rifle Regiment, finally advancing there. Russian forces also advanced to Poltavka, and there are claims that Russian forces reached Nove Shakove, a 7 kilometer advance from where we have them currently.
Russian forces also entered Zvirove, and DRGs also enter Pokrovsk proper, ambushing Ukrainian forces. Manpower situation remains critical, and no signs of any alleviation politically for Ukraine.
2/15 A Russian soldier gets trapped in barbed wire and is struck by two drone dropped grenades of the Ukrainian 47th Artillery Brigade near Zvirove, Donetsk oblast, in Pokrovsk direction.
Daily Ukraine map thread for Tuesday 15th July 2025
Highlights: Focus a bit on the Toretsk area today, rather than Pokrovsk which is also in a spot of bother. Russian forces advanced to take the rest of Novospaske after the flag raise yesterday.
The Toretsk area is fascinating. In almost three and a half years, Russia have gotten just ten kilometers past the old borders here for who knows how many thousands of dead. Wonder how many more dead won't see the next ten kilometers...

Daily Ukraine map thread for Wednesday 25th June 2025
Highlights: Robert "Magyar" Brovdi's drone stats paint a grim picture for Russian infantry, with heavy casualties. Claims so far from Rubio say this year the Russians have 80,000 dead so far, and yeah, that's pretty solid in our opinion. Onwards to 160k by December 31st...
Russian forces did advance slightly to Yalta in the west Donetsk area, showing that Ukrainian forces pulled back over the Mokri Yaly and Vovcha rivers in the area. We've marked it below for ease of view
Daily Ukraine map thread for Friday 20th June 2025
Highlights: Russian forces enter central Yablunivka south of Kostyantynivka.
Toretsk and surroundings remain a hot bed of activity
Small adjustments near Malynivka in Zaporizhia, but overall no drastic changes. Lots of Russians are dying for next to no land. Another year of this we go...

Highlights: Four areas to focus on today, as we've been away for a couple of days.
The first, in the Bilohorivka / Siversk direction, Russian forces were sighted in Serebryanka before getting hit by drones. This is the further they've advanced since 2022 here but so far doesn't appear to be anything too serious and easily dealt with.
The second, is near Kostyantynivka where Russian forces are sighted in the entirity of Stupochky and north of Dyliivka, putting a significant section to the east of Kostyantynivka in a bit more danger in this area. It's grindingly slow though and realistically such a small area, so plenty of time for counterattacks or withdrawals. Russian forces attempted a large mechanized attack near Yablunivka, which did not go well. Ukrainian forces ensuring Russian forces pay dearly here.
Third, we have West Donetsk, where Russian forces are struggling to even enter Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Russian forces have advanced a little further in Komar village and west of Bahatyr though.
Fourth we have the Lyman direction where things remain dangerous but no significant changes have occurred, despite the dynamic situation there. Curious...
Sumy direction remains pretty static, with border raids continuing on both sides
2/25 17th Special Purpose Center hits Russian position with a FPV drone in the mine tower in Pivnichne

Highlights: Russian forces enter Komar and Oleksiivka in west Donetsk. Small advances elsewhere across the front too such as Toretsk, Sumy and Lyman, but relatively small.
Rumours of a Russian train destruction by Ukrainian drones are circulating but no footage has been released, so take it with salt as always.
Russian Su-35S downed in Bryansk, unknown how as of yet but Ukrainian Air Force hinting it was shot down with air to air missile.
Lots of clickbait posts about huge Russian drone strikes in retaliation for Ukraine's bomber strikes - these were happening anyway already and were going to happen no matter what. In May for example, before any strategic bombers were hit, had two headline nights with 'biggest ever drone strike'. All Russia needs to do is save them up for a few nights and voila, a new record for headlines, so bear that in mind. It will get worse for the civilian population, Russian production of Gerans/Shaheds is increasing.
