Undisclosed on his resumé, the newly appointed Provincial Prosecutor for @The_ACNA trial of Bp. Ruch, Archdeacon Job Serebrov, attended St. Paul's House of Formation, a Greenhouse Movement institution, for a Certificate in Anglican Studies.

saintpaulshouseofformation.com x.com/monkofjustice/…“Having earned eight graduate degrees, my decision to pursue a certificate in Anglican Studies was carefully considered. I chose St. Paul’s because of its unparalleled breadth of subject matter, its expert and seasoned instruction, a readiness by the staff to address any questions that arise, and that very reasonable fee rate. Perhaps the most enjoyable and longest lasting benefit from this program is the friendship that developed between Fr. Stephen, Fr. Alex, Danny, and me. My prayer is to see St. Paul’s become the premiere certificate option for the ACNA as well as other GAFCON member Ch...
Who is St. Paul's for? Saint Paul’s House of Formation was designed by the Greenhouse Movement to equip Christian leaders while they are actively serving the church. Whether you’re lay or ordained, employed or volunteering, or still discerning where you fit best, all are welcome. We all long for God’s praise of Job to be true of us, that he “has spoken rightly about me.” (Job 42:7) St. Paul’s was intentionally crafted to help you do just that. It contains some of the most in-depth teachings you’ll find, while still remaining accessible and realistic. No matter how you found us, we would l...
This is concerning because Greenhouse, like the UMD, plays a major role in the case that the Ven. Serebrov is supposed to prosecute.

This affiliation should have been disclosed for the sake of transparency, even if St. Paul's is not accredited.

acnatoo.org/acna-witnesses…
Recall that one of the very dodgy & odd strategies of Ruch & co is to claim that the Greenhouse Movement, in which abuser Mark Rivera was a lay catechist, was not really under Bp Ruch's jurisdiction, despite being a deanery.
As prosecutor, it will be the task of the Ven. Serebrov to establish that Ruch was in fact responsible as an overseer for overseeing his deaneries such as Greenhouse.

It is a problem if Serebrov has a close, undisclosed ties to Greenhouse & close friendships with Ruch loyalists.
St. Paul's House of Formation is a project of Fr. On his testimonial, featured prominently on the St. Paul's website, Serebrov explains:

Presumably the friends noted by the Ven. Serebov are Fr. Stephen Gauthier, Fr. Alex Wilgus, and Danny Linton noted above. Image
Why is it a problem of the Provincial Prosecutor for the Ruch trial's understanding of the Anglican tradition & has been shaped strongly by his friend, Fr. Stephen Gauthier?
Fr. Stephen Gauthier & his wife, Barbara Gauthier, are die-hard Ruch loyalists.

Fr. Stephen is the much vaunted architect of the highly irregular & extremely authoritarian canons of the Dio. Upper Midwest, which were in place when the crisis broke.
acnatoo.org/acna-witnesses…A). THE IMPROMPTU LECTURE BY STEPHEN GAUTHIER The Agenda for this March 14th meeting had been set. We were — finally, after many months of inquiry — supposed to have a chance to ask two Greenhouse (GH) Movement board members questions. In fact, the BC was asked to submit questions (in advance) to these GH folks so that they could prepare. And, boy, did I have some questions! In addition, earlier that same day, we had received a 4-page letter from a GH priest describing various distressing concerns that he wanted to bring to the BC’s attention. Bp. Alan Hawkins appeared from 7:00 -...
Here is what I told the BC in my March 18th resignation letter: The UMD & Greenhouse Movement are both formed in such a way as to give full and unfettered authority over to Bishop Stewart and William Beasley —Look at our founding documents. Listen to Canon Steven Gauthier’s impromptu but entirely passionate defense of them on our last BC meeting. Read the Greenhouse Bylaws that Jens Notstad forwarded to the BC that same night. Basically, what I heard was: Yes, we have created an autocracy and we are proud of it. Well, no, no other diocese does it this way, but that is because they are fu...

Fr. Stephen's wife, Barbara Gauthier, was recently elected to the Executive Committee of @The_ACNA.

Barbara was a member of Ruch's Bishop Council & failed to hold him accountable (they could have insisted that he resign).

@The_ACNA What Barbara Gauthier *did* do while she was on the UMD Bishop's council was demonize @ACNAtoo as a manifestation of "spiritual warfare" rather than treating them as survivors of abuse who had begged UMD leaders privately for months to do the right thing.

@The_ACNA @ACNAtoo Dr. Barbara Gauthier's election to the Provincial Executive Committee to @The_ACNA strongly signals a willingness among powerful leaders in the ACNA to trivialize the great harm done by Bp. Stewart Ruch & his enablers, among whom the Gauthiers rank highly.
@The_ACNA @ACNAtoo The fact that the new Provincial Prosecutor of the Ruch case, the Ven. Job Serebrov has close ties with Greenhouse & a friendship with the Rev. Stephen Gauthier should be seen as a dangerous conflict of interest.
@The_ACNA @ACNAtoo Either @The_ACNA Provincial office new about these ties & dismissed them, or the Ven. Job Serebrov did not think to disclose them.

I am skeptical that he is so ignorant of this case that he does not know that Greenhouse & the Gauthiers are implicated in the abuse mishandling.
@The_ACNA @ACNAtoo Concerned members & leaders of @The_ACNA should contact the office of the Archbishop & insist that a prosecutor be appointed who was not theologically formed & friends with a blatant & vocal Ruch loyalist & enabler.
@The_ACNA @ACNAtoo I forgot to mention- the Ven. Job Serebrov was co-counsel in a very badly handled abuse case in the former International Diocese

If he attempted to course correct Chancellor Jeff Garrety or Bp Atwood, these attempts have not manifested as accountability

@The_ACNA @ACNAtoo You can read more about that case here & ask if this is someone who can be trusted to take abuse & abuse response very seriously & should be in charge of prosecuting a notorious case of abuse mishandling.

The rogue court member pursued this line of questioning OVER THE COURSE OF MORE THAN AN HOUR, according to Runyan.

Why wasn't this shut down immediately? Image
Will the Renegade Court member be allowed to continue on the court?

Will he or she be publicly identified?

Will their actions be independently investigated to determine where they accessed their information or what prompted their actions?
How will the "irreparable taint" that a practicing attorney with nearly five decades of experience determines was introduced be remedied by bringing on a new prosecutor?

In what way does this address Runyan's concerns?

Alan Runyan, the lead prosecutor in the @The_ACNA trial of Bishop Stewart Ruch of the Diocese of the Upper Midwest, has resigned.

Archbishop Steve Wood made the announcement over an email today:

mailchi.mp/anglicanchurch…
A reason was not given for Runyan's resignation just days into Ruch's trial, but I can't help but wonder if the ridiculous infographic conveniently redefining the understanding of a Bishop recently released by the Province at had anything to do with it.

The document magically redefines the role of the overseer as not having to oversee his diocese, which has very convenient implications for Ruch's defense.

Very little that @The_ACNA does to block abuse accountability surprises me, but the election of Barbara Gauthier of the Diocese of the Upper Midwest to the Executive Committee after her conduct on Stewart Ruch’s Bishop’s Council is shocking. Image

Barbara Gauthier, her husband, and fellow members of the UMD Bishop's Council demonized survivors & advocates & refused to hold Stewart Ruch accountable.

Ruch is now facing trial because his Bishop's Council would not discipline him. acnatoo.org/acna-witnesses…Image

@NathanBroo33288 @bethkiraly_ @ahailstone @morningstarmin Nathan, please exercise caution about this. ChatGPT does not assess source credibility reliably.

The section on Occult Freemasonry ties alone is based on the Taxil Hoax.

A mixture of true things mixed with insane lies is how these false prophets sucked people into NAR.
@NathanBroo33288 @bethkiraly_ @ahailstone @morningstarmin Taxil Hoax myths have been vomited up repeatedly since the 1890's by some of the same organizations listed in this "analysis." Evangelicals, fundamentalists, and charismatics keep returning to that vomit.
@NathanBroo33288 @bethkiraly_ @ahailstone @morningstarmin These kind of rabbit holes fuel spiritual bypassing. Instead of seeking credible sources that can help us reflect on how we got sucked into these things & can help us face the current dangers & repair the damage, they distract us with the illusion that We See The Hidden Knowledge

I just finished reading the @IHOPKC Firefly investigation report.

In any investigation, it's important to listen to participant feedback before we gauge its strengths & weaknesses.

Do they feel like their stories were faithfully represented?
I'm planning on sharing more thoughts during the next few days as I have time to digest & listen to the people who risked so much to share their stories & want to share their feedback.
However, I do have a couple of initial impressions now.

The report starts off strong. I was worried that we wouldn't get reader education, Holler helps the reader understand grooming dynamics. These are new concepts for many charismatics, so this education is essential.

I'd like to expound on this.

According to the Isler/Dare investigation report (beginning on pg 71), in 2007, a survivor close to TFCA rector John Yates disclosed to him that Jeff Taylor had sexually abused him when he was a member of the youth group.
tfcanglican.org/special-invest… x.com/MBurtwrites/st…
After hearing the allegations, Yates met with his ExCom committee & called Taylor, then a youth minister at Christ Church Anglican in Atlanta, & arranged for him to fly up to TFCA.

Yates & the Senior Associate Rector then confronted Taylor, who denied the allegations. The Church also acted appropriately in reaching out fairly quickly to Taylor to confront him with the 2007 disclosure. After meeting with the ExCom, Rev. Yates contacted Taylor and arranged for him to fly up to the area. Rev. Yates and the Senior Associate Rector met with him in person and presented him with the allegations of the 2007 disclosure. Although Taylor refused to acknowledge the truth of the allegations, both Rev. Yates and Staff 8, in their interviews, said they were convinced that Taylor was lying.
The @washingtonpost article by @ianshapira describes this meeting in greater detail:

archive.ph/2025.01.15-114…“He was in position of power, and I was a minor.” — an alleged victim of Taylor It was a tense moment. Taylor, after all, had spoken at some of Yates’s children’s weddings. Now, though, Taylor rocked back and forth on a couch, clutching a pillow, the law firm report said. Yates said Taylor rejected the allegation. But he did admit “that his judgment had not been good” with the boy, the report said. Taylor quickly called his boss in Georgia — the Rev. Alfred Sawyer, Christ Church’s rector — about the accusations. Taylor “denied sexual contact” but said he gave R a back rub in the bed, accord...
