A report to the Russian “Two Majors” Telegram channel from an artilleryman on the very poor quality of new ammunition.
“About ammunition. The information was verified through an active artillery officer who had been through more than one war and was currently at the front. 1/
"Good health, comrade Majors! A cry from the heart, I ask for publicity, if necessary I can go through deanon with you.
2/
“I am a combat officer, an artilleryman in an infantry regiment in the ****** direction. We have been working closely for almost 3 years. Everyone in my unit knows their business: any calculation number can easily replace both the gunner and the gun commander. 3/
“When we first arrived at the SVO, we were working with SOVIET BC [combat load]. The same one that had a GOST [State Standard], which was certified and fired before entering the troops. Old, rusty in places - but it was possible to work, the work was going great.
4/
“Then the IRANIAN and KOREAN BC appeared. There are no complaints about Iran - ideal sets of shots, they fly where they should. With Korea it was worse - carpet bombing over areas. Somehow we zeroed them in with the entire front (but for pinpoint work we try not to use it - … 5/
“…there is little trust).
And then the moment came when they started importing RUSSIAN BC, a modern one. To say that it is a fucking mess is to say nothing. You make a shot from one batch, adjust it, and the second one from the same batch gets a 1-2 km overshoot.
6/
“There are no checklists with individual adjustments to each shot set, which indicates that there is no quality control of the manufactured products. It even happens that the charges (cartridges) come without primers - what kind of quality control are we even talking about!
7/
“To the following problem. Who are the poorly shooting artillerymen for the infantry? F...s. To all the explanations about the zero quality of the BC - f...s. We are not even talking about the age of the guns and their shooting - we will also be f...s.
8/
“The consequences - transfers to assault units.
If you do not start working - the crews will go to assault.
And no one gives a damn that these people have been doing their job for years, destroying hundreds of units of weapons and military equipment…
9/
“…of the enemy together with their personnel. In assaults - period. The majority of the artillerymen transferred to assaults are two hundred in the first days. There are no training grounds where they are retrained. They took the machine gun and went ahead. 10/
“How the f@ck are we going to start working if we have nothing to use it with? If our military-industrial complex is negligent in its work, we CAN'T DO ANYTHING.
Let's bring this issue to the masses.
11/
“Let dozens of controllers go to these factories stamping out ammunition and monitor the quality of the products. Because what is happening now is SABOTAGE.
We came to defend our Motherland, our people. We are doing everything in our power.”

Russian blogger “Philologist in Ambush” (Svyatoslav Golikov) struggles to answer a difficult question.
“A typical question from a comrade in a private message: ‘Listen, what do you think, is all this just stupidity, or are they deliberately disposing of the [Russian] army?' 1/
“Putting aside thoughts on this topic, I will note: this is not just a question from the ground, but! from one of those very directions in which operational crises are developing for the enemy. In general, this is for understanding the actual price of our operational successes.
2
“The ‘Drone Line’ project implemented by the enemy is currently aimed at knocking out a larger number of our active personnel than the troops receive reinforcements and, as a result, at the maximum possible reduction in the numerical disproportion between our… 3/
“Drones work systematically, consistently and, most importantly, on the nerves
🔊 The psychological effect of constant UAV strikes is a separate type of weapon.
2/
“When you are pressed from above for weeks, the infantry begins to fear the very sound of the engine. Even if the drone is not visible, it is heard - and this is enough for the soldiers not to stick their heads out of cover for 10-20 minutes.

Further information has been released by Ukraine about the new Russian decoy and reconnaissance UAV.
The data transmission module is a Chinese copy of the Australian RFD900X.
This powerful radio modem implies remote control of the UAV, or simultaneous control of many UAVs. 1/
The Russian “Gerbera” decoy and reconnaissance UAV has a similar radio modem, and continues a move away from mobile network communication seen on earlier Gerberas.
This may indicate successful Ukrainian efforts to interdict this control channel. 2/
“Geran-2” (Shahed-136) UAVs have also been equipped with similar modems for mobile network connection for some time.
If the new radio transmission systems now seen are successful they will likely migrate to the Geran-2, making them controllable as well. 3/
“They take breaks of 2–6 days, and this is not by chance, but a tactic
During this period, soldiers in their positions relax: someone goes to the latrine without a helmet, someone doesn't bend down on the road, someone stands up to smoke at full height.
2/
“Yes, that's it—the enemy sees it. They analyze where and how often people appear, make marks, and then—a volley of 10–15 FPV drones
“At the same time, 4 drones were in the air within a radius of 200 meters from the transport. They came in turns, circling around.
The guns saved us. Some of the drones were shot down, some were damaged and because of this they missed the car.
2/
“The fifth drone, after leaving the place of the first wave, had its carrot shot off right before it crashed into the legs of one of the comrades. He is safe.
The sixth burned our transport. There was no more strength and ammunition for it.
