Trump was right—the scientists didn’t realize that it might become cold again. In 2024, they began noticing that the ocean currents were starting to slow down and showing signs of potential collapse, which would cause cooling in the Northern Hemisphere, just like during the Younger Dryas period.
Of course, this is connected to changes in axial precession. Even though precession is very slow, there is a tipping point that disrupts the entire ecosystem and causes rapid climate change.
As the Earth slowly changes its orientation toward the Sun, the regions that receive the most heat gradually shift. Over time, this leads to the buildup of a tipping point which, once reached, triggers dramatic changes in the Earth’s entire climate. In my opinion, the founders of the Long Now Foundation, the initiative behind the 10,000-year clock and the Rosetta Project, were also the builders of the infamous Georgia Guidestones, which were bombed and destroyed in 2021.
