A WARNING AGAINST BELITTLING THE SCHOLARS
Allāh (عز وجل) says,
“Those who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] the ones who find nothing [to spend] except their effort, so they ridicule them - Allah will ridicule
them, and they will have a painful punishment.”
[At-Tawbah: 79]
Ibn Asākir [May Allāh have mercy on him] said:
“Know O my brother! May Allāh grant us and you His Pleasure and make us from those who have awe and fear of Him as He should be feared. Indeed, the flesh of the
scholars is poisonous and Allāh’s way of disclosing the hidden affairs of those who diminish their worth is well known.”
1400 years ago, the hypocrites couldn't stand ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه.
They feared his sincerity, hated his firmness upon truth, and were silenced by the sharpness of his insight. His presence in the gatherings of the Prophet ﷺ struck awe into the hearts of even the
most deceitful. When he walked a path, Shayṭān would flee from it — and so did the hypocrites.
1400 years later, the hypocrites of today still cannot stand him.
They twist history, blur truth, and attempt to cast doubt on his legacy. But no matter how much they speak, the
brilliance of al-Fārūq cannot be dimmed. The one who was honored by Allah and His Messenger ﷺ needs no defense from the likes of us — his life is the proof, and his legacy is the reply.
He was al-Fārūq — the one who distinguished truth from falsehood, justice from oppression,
Shaykh Muhammad Nasirudeen Al Albani (رحمه الله) said:
"If you speak about Tawheed, the people of Shirk renounce you.
And if you speak about the Sunnah, the people of innovation renounce you.
And if you speak about proof and evidence, the math-hab blind followers, Sufis and
the ignorant renounce you.
And if you speak about Islam and its connection with our daily lives, the secularists and whoever wants to seperate religion from the lives of people renounce you.
It is a severe strangeness towards Ahlus Sunnah. They fight us with all means, they
fight us with the media which is heard, the media which is seen and the media which is written.
It has reached the extent that even the families and friends are fighting this strange person who is holding onto the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger
Stoicism is an ancient philosophy that teaches the idea that it's impossible to change the world and therefore you should just adjust your feelings instead and relinquish any control you may have had over external forces; which is why it shouldn't be surprising that it's gaining
widespread traction among young men.
Stoicism is a slave philosophy. Some historical proponents were actually themselves ex-slaves. The most famous stoicist, Marcus Aurelius, was literally emperor of Rome and preferred to write meditations on life while his wife cheated on him
with a gladiator. He had all the power in the world, and he squandered it. His own philosophy paralyzed him from being an effectual leader, an attentive husband, and a responsible father.
It's quite literally a cuck philosophy, and this is why its recent popularity among men is
