The people of Sunnah have clarity. The people of desires bring confusion.
Shaykhul-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله defined Bidʿah as:
“Everything that contradicts the Qur’ān, the Sunnah, and the consensus of the Salaf in belief or actions.”

This is the true definition grounded in Revelation and the understanding of the best generations.

Salafiyyah Has No Founder — Because It Was Never Invented!
Every sect, every party, every jamāʿah has a founder:
The Ikhwān were founded by Ḥasan al-Bannā.
The Tableeghis were founded by Muhammad Ilyās.
The Ashʿarīs by Abul-Ḥasan al-Ashʿarī.
The Shīʿah trace to ʿAbdullāh
ibn Saba’.
The Khārijites began with Dhul-Khuwaiṣirah.
But Salafiyyah?
It has no human founder — because it’s not a man-made movement.
Salafiyyah = following the Qur’an and Sunnah, as understood and implemented by the Sahābah and the Salaf al-Ṣāliḥīn.
