TISHA B’AV
One might assume that all Jews know something about this date in the Hebrew Calendar. It commemorates the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem 2000 years ago.
1)
Since then, many, many tragedies that have been suffered by the Jewish People have shared this date.
So, there is a custom that we fast and that in the three weeks preceding the 9th of Av, we make certain sacrifices of convenience and comfort as well to help us remember.
2)
But there is more to it - a lot more - that people, in general have forgotten, but which our sages noted that made this date much more significant, much more important than just an event 2000 years ago in Jerusalem.
3)
The Destruction of the Beit Hamikdash (the Temple) in Jerusalem was important, not just because it happened, but because of what happened with it, because of it, and after it, and what horrible consequences for the Jewish People followed it.
4)
First was the complete loss of whatever Jewish Home rule remained. Second was the fact that over the years before and after the Temple’s demise, the Population of Israel was intentionally reduced from 1.8 million, in 4 BCE (the Roman Census) to less than 50,000,
5)
with masses of Jews having been killed and with 300,000 being taken as slaves to Italy.
Jews worldwide, and that means at the time 4.4 million, who lived outside Israel but in the Roman Empire, spread acorss North Africa, Asia Minor, Italy, and
6)
west to Southern France and Spain, were so demoralized, so culturally shocked, that many, a majority, looked for answers in cults, and sadly, a majority of them became early Christians, leaving less than 1 million Jews by about 250 CE.
7)
Think about it. In the Shoah we lost 1/3 of our population. After the Destruction and demoralization that led to conversions throughout the Empire and murder of Jews in Israel, it took 85% of our population.
8)
So, understand that this tragedy that we commemorate on the 9th of Av was a tragedy of immense importance in many ways.
9)
The scroll of Eicha (Lamentations) is read in the synagogue during the evening services. In many Sephardic congregations, the Book of Job is read on the morning of Tisha B'Av.
10)
Those called to the Torah reading on Tisha B'Av are not given the usual congratulations for this honor.
Both readings are designed to make one understand that in the worst circumstances - we can get through them with knowledge and faith."

1)
This time, it started when a gang of African Muslims attacked an old Spanish man robbing and beating him yelling “Allah Akbar”.
In response, Spanish mobs retaliated and street fights broke out.
But where are the reports in the mainstream US media?
2)
There is no way that they do not have the facts. What is clear is that they do not care for the facts. What they care about is their political interests tied to the fact that in each case, their regimes are seen as weak, low approval ratings, and in need of Muslim support.
3)
MANY COUNTIES HAVE WHAT MIGHT BE CALLED A “STATE OF THE NATION” ADDRESS, BY THEIR PRESIDENT, PRIME MINISTER, OR KING FROM TIME TO TIME.
2)
Parshat “Dvarim” (literally “things”) is the “State of the Nation” Address by Moses, on the eve of a great transition of the people from Homelessness to Home.

Selective favoring anything NOT Jewish.
1)
They sponsor Gay pride festivals, and it's OK for them to have almost naked people performing simulated sex in public, including with children in the audience.
2)
They are tolerant and silent when Muslims pray in the street (separating male and female) or when Christians proselytize to find converts from among Jews and Muslims.

LESSON A: THE TWO STATE SOLUTION IS DEAD FOREVER.
1)
In 2006, Israel withdrew all military and all Jewish civilians from the Gaza Strip as part of allowing Gaza 100% self-Rule as an experiment demanded by the US, UK, & France,
2)
in the 2-State solution. Those three nations promised Israel that if this experiment works, then the 2-State solution could be expanded to other areas, but if it fails as many predicted, the issue would never be brought up again.

1)
In 2006, the USA and the UK convinced Israel to withdraw all Jews and military from the Gaza Strip, allowing democratic elections there, and effectively independence as an experimental Palestine State.
2)
In the USA and in the UK, this experiment had Bi-Partisan support, Republicans and Democrats in the US, Labour and Tories in the UK. Both powers promised Israel that if this worked to bring peace, the idea could be expanded.

AT LEAST NOT FOR EVERYTHING
AI’s functions to go through all the printed material that has been put online, analyze it, and put out conclusions based on the preponderance of material.
1)
And that is the problem.
AI may be great for mathematical, engineering, and even medical diagnosis issues. But when it comes to history, sociology, psychology, religion, and cultural issues there will definitely be a problem.
2)
You see, any analysis of the preponderance of literature, or opinion, of learned papers out there, will result in a highly Eurocentric view, and will be replete therefore with conclusions that are rather dismissing of,
