🧵1/ Hello world, my name is Gal, and I am an Israeli, Jewish, mother, and lawyer. It is 3 am in Israel and I can’t sleep after what I had to witness. I want to share a bit about my experience over the past (almost) two years.

This is my ‘message in a bottle’ to you.
>

2/ Before you jump- this isn’t coming from a place of victimhood. The Israeli identity barely recognizes the concept of victimhood or even claims of antisemitism. We’re of course very much aware of its existence and harm but it’s never our motivation or “card”.
>

3/ This is not to diminish in any way the madness that diaspora Jews are enduring these days. We were raised from birth as free and fiercely proud of our identity. We never saw ourselves as victims, we celebrated living on the miracle of giants who achieved the impossible.
>

4/ Jewish sovereignty is our starting point, never up for debate.

Yet, I’m here to tell the untold story, the one we rarely share, even with ourselves, precisely because we live with a sense of strength and freedom.

5/ On October 7, 2023, the ground shook, and for the first time in my memory, I witnessed a cruel reality that wasn’t even an imaginable concept.
>

6/ For hours, we were forced to watch helplessly as our brothers and sisters cried out for help on live television from the depths of hell, with no way to aid them.
>

7/ We were forced to witness pure evil livestreaming on the victims’ personal social media pages, using these atrocities and their dissemination as a tool for psychological terror against an entire nation.
>

8/ In those hours, there were moments when we feared for the very existence of our state. All the walls we built around ourselves in our self-imposed “ghetto” of defense systems - Iron Dome, bomb shelters- turned into tools of systematic, murderous destruction.
>

9/ Even our mighty army became such a tool when the butchers donned IDF uniforms to convince those fleeing the execution zones that they were there to protect them- only to slaughter them as they ran toward them.
>

10/ The south was hell, the center faced thousands of rockets, and in the north, people barricaded themselves in their homes with weapons, preparing for war and another front of slaughter from Hezbollah or, God forbid, from within Israel (as happened in May 2021).
>

11/ As we anxiously followed the state’s attempt to recover, a new, pre-timed front of horror opened. Already on October 7, a tsunami of influencers, bot farms, and “journalists” erased the terror happening to us in real-time, spreading an endless stream of lies, and libels.
>

12/ They were shouting at us “show us the evidence” while we were collecting body parts. We hadn’t yet collected the remains of bodies smeared on the roads of southern Israel when protests erupted worldwide about a “genocide in Gaza.”
>

13/ Within weeks, as over 250 men, women, and children- including babies - were kidnapped by the same cruel hands that had just invaded Israel in a bloodthirsty rampage, people around the world tore down posters raising awareness of this unimaginable tragedy.
>

14/ Two months after this horror, with dozens of wounded civilians still held hostage without any aid, in the most brutal and cynical way imaginable, a “legal case” was opened in The Hague in December 2023,
>

15/ claiming that Israel was committing genocide against those who had just come to commit genocide against us in the most public, clear, and documented manner.

>

16/ As the world slandered us from every platform, protested in the streets over fabricated blood libels, calling our genocidal murderers “freedom fighters” and shamelessly attacked random Jews,
>

17/ we were forced to watch Israeli hostages endure a cynical campaign of abuse, murdered in cold blood, and released in “victory” ceremonies that even the devil himself couldn’t have staged.

>

18/ These included victory celebrations by convicted murderers who had already committed similar atrocities before October 7 on a smaller scale- released in what was perversely called a “deal.”
>

19/ Alongside this, we watched IDF soldiers enter Gaza with the primary goal of protecting the nation of Israel and freeing the hostages held in subhuman conditions- only to discover that the world was preparing prosecution files and libels against them.
>

20/ We also saw IDF findings from Gaza: luxury villas with gold and Italian marble in what the world shamelessly calls “refugee camps,” maps of Israel labeled “Palestine”, Nazi Germany books, and endless tunnel shafts and artillery in children’s rooms, schools, mosques, hospitals-
>

21/ turning Gaza into a fortress of what was revealed to be a veritable death cult, not just any cult, but one that sanctifies death and murder from birth.
>

22/ While Gaza was “humanitarianly” protected our hostages were forgotten, we attended countless funerals of those murdered on October 7, hearing chilling stories of annihilation,
>

23/ followed by funerals of IDF soldiers who died on the altar of upholding international law while facing a war in which a death cult used its civilian population as a weapon.
>

24/ But this was not nearly enough. Within weeks, rockets and exploding drones began landing on Israel from Yemen and occasionally Iraq. In northern Israel, a full-scale war broke out, waged by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
>

25/ Here and there, terrorists arrived from the Jordanian border and, of course, from the PA on Israel’s eastern border. In April 2024, the world watched as thousands of Iranian missiles were randomly aimed at Israel’s population, responding with indifference at best.
>

26/ “The Jews have Iron Dome” in their Israeli ghetto, so they have nothing to complain about. And if they dare to complain- it’s victimhood, if they dare to pushback they are committing a genocide.
>

27/ Swastikas began appearing on Jewish homes and gathering places worldwide. Cursing, harassing, and persecuting Jews Israelis or as they loved calling it “Zionists” became a trend.

Are we really there so fast?
>

28/ Mainstream media “reported” our murderers’ lies and manipulations without any verification or investigation, while international UN bodies (ICJ, ICC, UNRWA, etc.) were gradually weaponized to slander and choke Israel in the upside world that we were entering.
>

29/ Israel fought tooth and nail for its right not only to exist but to thrive securely against a malicious or silent world.
>

30/ The war in Gaza and against Hezbollah led to many victories but also to numerous Israeli casualties and injuries, with the fronts opened against Israel only feeling increasingly empowered and inspired.
>

31/ As we read more and more suppressed, evidence-based reports about the atrocities of October 7, the horrors endured by Israeli hostages, and the utterly deranged antisemitism becoming public and normalized worldwide, the world continued to try to destroy Israel by any means possible.
>

32/ The worst of all were the endless blood libels. The death cult with its genocidal “Palestinian cause” to destroy Israel ‘from the river to the sea’ flooded global consciousness with brainwashing that included
>

33/ fabricated history, theft of the Jewish and Israeli story, blood libels, endless lies, and portraying Israel as the devil while behaving as the true devil, yet fully exempt from any accountability for their actions.
>

34/ Another war front, more rockets, more terrorist attacks, and the murder of babies and mothers in Israel- and the world relentlessly amplifies that Israel is committing systematic and ‘deliberate murder of children’.
>

35/ The atrocity done to us was turned into a filthy, systematic blood libel that the world embraced without hesitation.
>

36/ By the time fragments of human beings emerged from Gaza’s tunnels, which had become concentration camps for Israeli hostages, most of Israel could no longer bear the horror.
>

37/ some in Israel simply succumbed to the satanic terror and its Goebbels-style propaganda, pointing fingers at ourselves. As if blaming ourselves for the lies hurled at us would appease this new beast- but the world only grew far more malicious toward Israel and Jews.
>

38/ It’s no surprise, then, that many Jews lost all hope in this world. Realizing, as The Economist so kindly put it, that we are “alone,”
>

39/ we stopped giving accountability to those who believe we owe it to them while those who publicly call for our destruction and actively work toward it for nearly two years (and, in truth, for nearly 80 years) are, for some deranged reason, exempt.
>

40/ I’ll end with this:
I don’t know if Israel is truly alone or if these are just the voices of jihadist PR taking over the discourse. But one thing is clear to me: those who aid them - are criminals. History will judge them.
>

41/ The media, NGOs, pathetic leaders- you who looked at these atrocities and the Goebbels-style PR platforming them and helped it grow into Jew-hatred- you are criminals. Not only that, you are the first sign of the inevitable destruction of the societies in which you reside.
>

42/ To our many enemies:
If you think that Israel is about to be destroyed, I feel sorry for you. You’ve been repeatedly nurturing this delusional concept only to call it after your painful defeat some kind of fabricated catastrophe.

You are evil, your God is not with you.

Some people think that while Gaza is declaring a genocidal war on Israel - and simply fail, we in Israel must obsess about their tragic failure. Well, no.
