The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world he does not exist
Demons are real. The Church has always taught this.
And if you are not aware of their existence & playbook you already lost the war for your soul
What the Church teaches about demons - a 🧵✝️
Who are the demons? Well, simply put, they are fallen angels.
Created good by God, they rebelled against Him in pride. Led by Lucifer, they cried: “Non serviam!” – “I will not serve!”
Cast out of Heaven, they now roam the world, seeking the ruin of souls.
Scripture is clear: demons are real, not a metaphor.
– Jesus was tempted by Satan (Mt 4)
– He cast out demons constantly (Mk 1,34)
– He gave His apostles power to exorcise them (Lk 10,17)
– St. Paul warns of “principalities and powers” (Eph 6,12)
And they want you to lose your soul.
Each one of them as angelic being before their rebellion had an assigned task they were to accept before they were given the beatific vision.
Lucifer, for example, according to Fr Chad Ripperger, was to enligthen our Lady's mind for her to be even more perfect, more charitable, more sacrificial.
He was then to do this in the minds of all men.
He rejected this task especifically because he envied the beauty our Lady would achieve by being a perfect mirror for God's virtues.
So now he roams the world doing the exact oppposite of his assigned task.
The Saints battled demons.
– St. Anthony the Great was beaten by demons in the desert.
– St. Padre Pio was physically attacked in his cell.
– St. John Vianney was harassed nightly.
– St. Teresa of Ávila saw them and drove them away with holy water.
They fought, and won, by the power of Christ.
Why is this you ask? Well because demons are used by God as the instruments of our sanctification.
They are BOUND to obey God. So God uses them to test us, perfect us and help us EARN heaven.
They are TOOLS used to sanctify us if we choose to battle AGAINST them.
Demons hate you. Make no mistake about that.
You’re made in the image of God. Christ died for you, not for them. You’ll enter the Heaven they lost.
They envy. They hate. And they want your destruction. And until your dying breath they will try their best to damn you.
Their tactics are subtle. And they are cunning enemies.
They rarely show themselves. They prefer lies, temptation, confusion, pride.
They whisper:
– “Do what thou wilt.”
– “You don’t need the Church.”
– “God will forgive everything. Stay as you are.”
You must fight this.
The good news is that you aren't fighting alone. The entire Triumphant Church is with you.
Demons tremble before the name of Jesus. They hate the Holy Eucharist. They hate frequent Confession. They hate our Lady. They hate sacramentals.
Live in a state of grace, and they cannot touch you. Unless to further sanctify you.
In the end, they always lose.
You need to be living in a state of habitual grace. The world needs saints.
Pray daily, go to confession regularly, receive the eucharist with piety, fast and offer sacrifices.
Do not be passive. Fight. Christ is with you. The entire court of Heaven if with you.
The devil is real.
But he is a defeated enemy.
Stay close to Christ, the Church, and Our Lady and you will overcome all of his tricks

But in between them there is Purgatory, a place of purification, redemptive suffering and hope.
And the souls in there NEED our help.
What the Church teaches about Purgatory and how YOU can help free the souls who are in it - a 🧵✝️
What is Purgatory?
According to the Church, it is the final purification of the elect, a necessary cleansing for those who die in God’s grace but are still imperfectly purified.
Nothing unclean can enter Heaven. (Revelation 21,27)
So God's mercy provides a way for souls to be purified, not damned, but not yet ready.
The Catholic Encyclopedia defines Purgatory as “a place or condition of temporal punishment for those who, departing this life in God’s grace, are not entirely free from venial faults, or have not fully paid the satisfaction due to their transgressions.”
In other words, God has forgiven them, but they have not received justice for their sins, and/or they have not perfectly detached themselves from their sins.
Saint Therese of Lisieux had a deep devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus and is quoted saying: “Oh, how much good that Holy Face has done in my life.”
It could also do much good in yours.
The Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus - a 🧵
The Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus was revealed by Our Lord to Sr. Marie of St. Peter (1816–1848), a Carmelite nun from Tours, France.
This devotion is primarily an act of reparation for the gravest offenses against GodM specifically the sins against the first three Commandments: the denial of God (as in atheism and communism), blasphemy, and the profanation of Sundays and holy days of obligation.
Rooted in the life and revelations of Sr. Marie of St. Peter, the devotion gained widespread recognition and was formally approved by Pope Leo XIII in 1885, who established it as an Archconfraternity for the entire world.
A pivotal moment in the history of this devotion occurred in January 1849, when Pope Pius IX ordered the public exposition of the relic of Veronica’s Veil in Rome.
On the third day of the exposition, a miraculous transformation took place: the once-faint image on the veil became vividly clear. The Holy Face of Jesus appeared as if alive, bathed in a gentle, heavenly light. Faithful reproductions of the veil, touched to the original relic, were later distributed throughout the world for veneration.
Guardian angels, you’ve heard of them, maybe you even prayed to yours as a child.
But who are Guardian Angels really? And what does the Church say about them?
Why you should have a devotion to your Guardian Angel - a 🧵✝️
Guardian Angels are real, personal spiritual beings assigned by God to protect and guide each human soul.
This isn’t just a sweet idea, it’s a dogma of the Catholic faith, firmly grounded in Scripture and Tradition.
>Psalm 91,11: "He will give his angels charge over you."
>Matthew 18,10: "Their angels always behold the face of my Father."
>Acts 12,15: "It is his angel!"
Angels are messengers, guardians, and protectors, always doing God's will.
What do Guardian Angels do?
>Protect us from spiritual and physical harm
>Inspire good thoughts
>Warn us against sin
>Help us in prayer
>Guide us toward our eternal salvation
They aren’t passive. They are warriors fighting for your soul.
Nagasaki, 1945. An atomic bomb exploded over the city. Tens of thousands died.
But just outside the blast zone, a Franciscan monastery stood untouched. The friars inside? Safe.
Why? St. Maximilian Kolbe chose the site, 14 years earlier.
The miracle of Nagasaki - a 🧵✝️
In the early 1930s, Fr. Maximilian Kolbe arrived in Japan as a missionary.
He was already known for his bold faith and love for the Blessed Virgin Mary.
When he reached Nagasaki, the local Catholics expected him to build the monastery in the heart of the city.
But he refused.
St. Maximilian Kolbe was extremely devoted to Our Lady. He specifically promoted devotion and consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
He was an ardent devotee of the Rosary and strongly encouraged its daily recitation.
Moreover, he understood the terrible evils wrought by freemasonry, atheism, and the errors of Russia.
Kolbe chose a remote hillside in Hongochi, on the outskirts of town.
Why? No one understood it at the time.
Kolbe had chosen a plot of land in the suburb of Hongouchi that sat behind a mountain and faced away from Nagasaki.
While many originally criticized this placement, it was this strange positioning that would protect the monastery and its missionaries later on.
Seibo no Kishi would consist of a chapel and wooden house, a large hall for meetings and classes, and a workshop to hold printing equipment. Additionally, Kolbe would build a nearby grotto completed with the placement of a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes on May 1, 1932.
