Europeans:

• Use real sugar in everything
• Always drink alcohol with dinner
• Eat white bread and pastries everyday

But are healthier and leaner than Americans.

Why? These 6 common toxic habits that are silently destroying Americans´ health: 🧵
1. Mostly eating ultra-processed food.

The average American gets over 60% of their calories from ultra-processed junk.

Real food is rare.

Microwave meals, seed oils, and drive-thrus dominate.
Meanwhile, Europeans eat real and minimally processed food.

Meals are based on ingredients your grandma would recognize:

• Fresh vegetables
• Cheese from a local farm
• Bread baked that morning
• All without toxic chemicals. Image
2. Having a sedentary lifestyle.

Walking is a part of daily life in Europe.

Walking to the shops, friends´ houses, post-meal strolls.

They don´t have a step-count goal.

But in America, we drive everywhere...

Here´s how to fit more walking into your day:
3. Having huge portion sizes.

American meals are very over-sized.

Sometimes one meal can be an entire day’s worth of calories.

Add in the calories from soda, snacks and dessert...

And you don´t stand a chance. Image
In Europe, smaller portions are the norm.

They prioritize quality over quantity and savoring their food rather than stuffing their faces...

Eating is social. They eat more slowly. There´s no rush.
4. Working long hours.

Americans grind themselves into the ground.

2 weeks of vacation, 60-hour work weeks, emails and Slack on weekends.

Stress hormones go through the roof. Health crashes. Burnout is the norm.
Europeans protect their peace.

Their priorities are their hobbies and social time with friends and family.

They work to live. They don´t live to work.

But Americans often prioritize work over everything and it´s destroying their health and well-being. Image
5. Neglecting sleep.

Americans wear sleep deprivation like it’s a badge of honor.

It´s a testament to how hard they´re working for their family.

"I´ll sleep when I´m dead"...

But with that attitude, you´ll be dead sooner than you think...
Europeans embrace sleep and rest.

• Naps
• Slow mornings
• Later starts for work.

They prioritize rest the way Americans prioritize caffeine.

Their bodies thank them for it.
6. Not prioritizing connection with others.

Statistics of loneliness in the US have skyrocketed in recent years.

• Working too many hours
• Not enough time for friends and family
• Too much screen time and not enough real-life interaction.
Europeans eat together.

Live close to family.

Know more people in their town.

Do more activities in real-life and have less screen time.

They have real community. Image
The modern American culture is very unhealthy.

You can´t change the whole culture but you can take individual responsibility for your own health and improve it:

• Walk more
• Sleep more
• Reduce stress
• Eat unprocessed food
• Spend more time with friends & family.

Big Pharma's biggest threat:

Nattokinase.

This natural supplement could replace statins, stents and blood pressure meds.

Here's everything they don't want you to know about Nattokinase: Image
Natto is a traditional, cheese-like Japanese food made from fermented soybeans that's been eaten for over 2000 years.

For centuries, no one knew why it seemed to protect cardiovascular health.

Then in the 1980s, a researcher figured it out: Image
Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi was studying blood clots at the University of Chicago.

He dropped Natto onto a clot in a petri dish.

Within 18 hours, something remarkable happened.

The clot had completely dissolved.

You don’t need a pile of supplements and two hour morning routines.

And you don't need more information.

Filter through the noise and steal these 10 things that I use to stay 10% body fat year-round (long, but worth the read)

1) Walking pad
It’s 0 degrees here. But I can still do 30 minutes of incline walking while watching an $8/month subscription network or sporting event.

Repeat every day on autopilot for your waistline, heart health and to undo hours of sitting at the desk. Image
2) Weekly grocery list + Store pickup

We grocery shop weekly. But 90% of the time we order it online and pick it up to save time.

Take 10 minutes to make a grocery list or online order.

You'll know what meals you’ll make, what you need, and what you DON’T need. Image

Everyone thinks Statins are the solution for "High cholesterol".

But despite what your doctor tells you…

They can increase your risk of Alzheimer's, Type 2 Diabetes AND even weakness in your heart.

Here’s what statins really do to your body (& what to do instead): 🧵
Brain Damage.

Cholesterol is a key part of neurons and neurotransmitters in your brain.

Statins lower cholesterol so aggressively that they can starve your brain.

Even the FDA admits that statins can cause memory loss and confusion. Image
Insulin Resistance.

Statins increase insulin resistance by:

- Reducing adiponectin
- Damaging mitochondrial function
- Impairing GLUT4 transporter function.

They can raise the risk of Type 2 Diabetes by up to 46%.

Insulin resistance increases your risk of heart disease too. Image

I honestly think I could take anyone and reverse Type II Diabetes in 6 months.

-no medications
-no excess cardio
-without giving up carbs

Here’s exactly how we do it:

1) Lift weights 3x/week Image
Strength training burns glycogen (stored sugar in the muscle) and moves Glut-4 receptors to the surface of the cell.

This allows you to move blood glucose into the muscle cell WITHOUT insulin.

The more muscle you build and the more frequent you train, the better your blood sugar control.
2) Carbohydrate timing

Eating carbs while insulin resistant and sedentary sends blood glucose skyrocketing to dangerous levels leading to nerve, kidney and heart disease.

Carbs around workouts ensures stable blood sugar levels while still having energy to exercise safely.
