❗️🧵EXPOSED: Hamas' "Starvation Campaign" has been debunked by an in-depth IDF review. Misleading publication of malnutrition data & images of patients with pre-existing conditions have been used to discredit Israel and achieve political gains.

Gaza’s Ministry of Health claims 133+ malnutrition deaths in July alone, but failed to share identities. Following the in-depth review, only a handful of cases were verified.

Case analysis: Most "malnutrition" deaths were due to severe pre-existing conditions, some even received medical treatment in Israel prior to the war. 1/4Image

Example: 4 year-old Abdullah Hanu Muhammad Abu Zarqa has a genetic disease causing deficiencies, osteoporosis, and bone thinning. 4 months before the outbreak of the war, he traveled with his mother to receive medical treatement in East Jerusalem. 2/4
Another example: 27 year-old Karam Khaled Mustafa al-Jamal died from lifelong muscular dystrophy & partial paralysis, not hunger. 3/4
The expert review concluded that there are no signs of a widespread malnutrition phenomenon among the population in Gaza.

Hamas cynically exploits tragic images and misuses them for a false and timed propaganda campaign aimed at generating pressure and creating negative public opinion against Israel. The IDF, through COGAT, will continue working to improve the humanitarian response in Gaza, in cooperation with the intl. community, while rejecting allegations of famine in Gaza. 4/4

During combat in Shejaiya, the IDF mistakenly identified 3 Israeli hostages as a threat and as a result, fired toward them and the hostages were killed. 1/1
Their bodies were transferred to Israeli territory for examination where it was confirmed that they were 3 Israeli hostages and were identified:

Yotam Haim, who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Kfar Aza by the Hamas terrorist organization on October 7.
Samer Talalka, who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Am by the Hamas terrorist organization on October 7.
The third hostages’ family has been notified and requested that his name will not be broadcasted.

IDF and Israel Police representatives have notified all of the families. 2/2
The IDF began reviewing the incident immediately. The IDF emphasizes that this is an active combat zone in which ongoing fighting over the last few days has occurred. Immediate lessons from the event have been learned, which have been passed on to all IDF troops in the field.

The IDF expresses deep remorse over the tragic incident and sends the families its heartfelt condolences. Our national mission is to locate the missing and return all the hostages home. 3/3

On Saturday, Hamas brutally massacred over 700 Israelis.

The @IAFsite is conducting one of the largest air strikes ever against Hamas in Gaza to degrade and destroy their ability to terrorize the people of Israel.

Hamas launched a war. We will restore security to our country.
Between Saturday and Monday morning, over 1,200 targets were hit by Israeli aircraft across the Gaza Strip, including weapons storage and manufacturing sites, command and control centers, rocket launchers and more.

Today we doubled that number.
Israeli civilians are not Hamas’ only victim.
Hamas intentionally positions itself deep among Gaza's population.
