One of the signs of catastrophic climate change is geomagnetic excursions and the weakening of the Earth’s magnetic field. In 2021, scientists presented undeniable evidence that 42,000 years ago, the Laschamp Geomagnetic Excursion caused sudden climate change and a mass extinction event in which the Neanderthals perished and humans barely survived.

Evidence from ancient kauri trees revealed a dramatic spike in radiocarbon (^14C) production, a clear signature of a weakened magnetic field and increased cosmic ray influx during the Laschamp event.

The kauri tree data allowed researchers to pinpoint the timing of the magnetic reversal to about 42,000 years ago and link it to:

- A major weakening of the Earth’s magnetic field (down to ~6% of today’s strength)

- Climate shifts, including changes in wind patterns and ice sheet growth

- Extinction events, including the disappearance of Neanderthals

- Increased auroras and possible changes in human behavior, such as more cave dwelling and greater use of red ochre for protection from UV radiation.

Axial precession is the slow wobble of the Earth around its axis, lasting approximately 26,000 years.

In my opinion during this slow wobble, the Earth changes its orientation toward the Sun, altering which regions receive more heat. This triggers changes in wind patterns, monsoons, hurricanes, and the internal movement of liquid iron, which leads to geomagnetic excursions, a weakening of the magnetic field, climate change, and potential crustal displacement (great floods). The Sahara, once a lush and green region, became a desert around 6,000 years ago due to changes in Earth's orientation, which triggered a chain reaction that led to the collapse of the entire ecosystem. This was confirmed in an article and book by Douglas Rushkoff, who was invited as a consultant by a group of Silicon Valley billionaires seeking advice on how to best prepare for a civilizational collapse.

They were interested in finding the best location to build a doomsday bunker, and their main choices were Alaska (close to the North Pole) and New Zealand (close to the South Pole). One of the main concerns of the billionaires was how they could ensure that their ordinary workers and guards wouldn’t turn against them after the event. Their main solution was to use robot guards and workers—if the technology is developed in time.

Every 72 years, the constellations appear to move one degree forward in the sky, while each year, as the seasons and months change, they seem to move backward—like a wheel within a wheel.

If you want to observe the movement of the precession of the equinoxes, you need to determine the exact time—for example, the Spring Equinox—and then compare it to the same point 72 years later. I created a demonstration of these changes using the constellation Leo; instead of 72 years, I used a span of 216 years to show a 3-degree shift more clearly.

Six thousand years ago, severe climate change, geomagnetic excursion, desertification of the Sahara, and civilizational collapse occurred, marking a reset and the start of the Sumerian, Ancient Egyptian, and Indus Valley civilizations, the start of the Jewish calendar, and the Hindu Kali Yuga.

All of these changes were caused by the changes in axial precession and the orientation of the Earth towards the Sun. In my opinion, we are close to such changes again, and these changes are recorded and prophesied in ancient religions!

6000 years ago, due to axial precession, Earth was oriented differently towards the stars. The North Star was Thuban, part of the constellation Draco, and the Age of Taurus had just begun.

The Sun rose on the Spring Equinox between the horns of Taurus, facing towards Orion, one of the most important ancient constellations. Some even speculate that the three pyramids in Giza align with Orion's Belt. Evidence for the Solovki geomagnetic excursion has since been observed in widely separated regions, suggesting it was a global geomagnetic event.

For example, lake sediments near Beijing, China record an abrupt magnetic direction change between approximately 6060 and 4860BP. Likewise, archaeomagnetic measurements of ancient fired pottery from southern China (dated ~4100 BC) reveal extremely low magnetic intensities around 6,000 years.

In South America, over 20 sediment sections (many in Patagonia) also preserve anomalous remanent magnetization directions (intermediate or reversed) that align with the 5–7 ky BP.
