🇵🇸💰 FOLLOW THE MONEY: PALESTINIAN “KIDS’ SHOWS”

For years, children’s programming in Palestinian territories has doubled as political indoctrination, often bankrolled through foreign donors ... but also our own taxpayer dollars.

Over the next posts, I’ll trace how entertainment for kids became propaganda for war, and how we ended up bankrolling that.

Patience as I pull the thread together.Image
Image
The most infamous show was Tomorrow's Pioneers, which aired in 2007-2009, with a revival in 2013. In one of its episodes, a Mickey Mouse look-alike was "safeguarded" with the trust of getting Tel Al-Rabi land back (Tel Aviv). Image
Image
After being safeguarded with the trust to get the land back, Farfour's grandfather died and Farfour is in agony about how to get the land back for him. Image
Image
Farfour is approached by investors and refuses to give the land over. He is also approached with peace deals, saying that he can co-exist in the land. He rejects them all - the only acceptable condition is that Farfour's people own all the land. Image
Image
Image
At the end of the program, Farfour is martyred in defending his land. Image
Image
This was just one episode of Tomorrow's Pioneers. Many of its episodes echoed similar sentiments, including a bunny mascot that declared "I, Assud, will get rid of the Jews, and I will eat them up, Allah willing!"

The show was produced by Al-Aqsa TV, strictly controlled by Hamas and designated a terrorist group by US Treasury in 2010.Image
Image
Image
The director of Al-Aqsa TV at the time of the production was Fathi Hammad, a longtime member of the Muslim Brotherhood and a member of the now-defunct Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) which had been the legislative body of Palestinian Authority. Image
I have to take back a step here and explain a little about how Palestine government works (my understanding is limited, so please correct).

Palestinian Authority (PA) was created under the 1994 Oslo Accords and gets foreign aid. It governs part of the West Bank along with Israel. Hamas controls Gaza Strip.

PA can coordinate some foreign aid to Gaza, but UNRWA runs most of the foreign aid operation.

Hamas Political Bureau (Politburo) is Hamas' main decision-making body.
Fathi Hammad, who oversaw the Al-Aqsa TV network during the run of Tomorrow's Pioneers, ia a member of Hamas Politburo, positioning him as one of the most powerful Hamas politicians. Image
The overlap between Hamas and UNRWA goes deep. For example, Suheil Al-Hindi is a member of Hamas Politburo -- while being a principal of UNRWA school and head of the UNRWA Palestinian worker's union. Image
Image
Another infamous instance of overlap was when Fateh al-Sharif, UNRWA school teacher, was found to have been responsible for Hamas' political and military actions in Lebanon and was working with Hezbelloah to attack Israel. Image
Image
Image
Under Obama and Biden administrations, UNRWA received heavy funding from the United States. 19 UNRWA members were alleged to have participated in Oct 7th attacks and even an internal UNRWA investigation concluded that nine "may" have participated. Image
Image
One of UNRWA's partner organizations is Open Society Foundations. Image
The official broadcaster of the Palestinian Authority is Palestinain Broadcasting Corporation (PBC). They, too, have hosted kids' shows celebrating martyrdom. Image
Image
Image
A 2016 Congressional report shows the extent of the US support for Palestine. In it, the US is the single largest state donor to UNRWA. The US also provided money directly to Palestinian Authority, although it was well aware that PA funded questionable activities. Image
Image
Image
These children's TV shows have been recurring subjects of Israeli media outrage. Palestine accused them of "double standards" due to as Israel's own occupation of Palestine.

Note the name of the Palestinian Information Minister below who denounced the criticism - Mustafa Barghouti.Image
Image
Barghouti is a regular participant in UNRWA conferences, including their "Engaging Youth" project which aims to improve the well-being of children. Image
Image
A declassified Israel report found that 12% of UNRWA members were members of Hamas or other terrorist factions. The vast majority were employed in education and teaching. Image
I think that's probably enough for one thread. This meme is more true than ever: Image
Once again:

Criticizing Hamas terrorists does not obligate me to criticize AIPAC. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

🗂️ THREAD: Following the Money Trail in Puerto Rico: Robert F. Mujica, Jr.

I’ve been digging into Puerto Rico's tax incentives for a while now. That research quickly led into the world of fiscal governance and bankruptcy oversight.

One name kept surfacing: Robert F. Mujica, Jr.

Mujica is a former New York State Budget Director who now serves as Executive Director of Puerto Rico’s Financial Oversight and Management Board (FOMB), the entity that oversees the island’s finances. And by some accounts, now making over 9× the Governor’s salary to “oversee” Puerto Rico’s finances.

Paid with Puerto Rican taxpayer money, Mujica runs the Financial Oversight & Management Board, the group deciding how much gets cut and what gets sold off.

This is important as Americans debate the statehood of Puerto Rico....

Patience as I pull the thread together...
Mujica served as Cuomo's NY budget director, earning 216K/year. He would get offered a position on Puerto Rico's state fiscal board, wherein his salary would triple to 625K. This despite that Puerto Rico has a population of 3.2 million, far less than NYC's population of ~8.8 million.Image
Image
This happened contemporarily as Mets owner Steve Cohen paid 105K for his consulting services. His Puerto Rico role was announced in late 2022, his Mets consulting service in 2023. Image

🧵 THREAD: The CAIR–Muslim Brotherhood–Hamas Pipeline They Don't Want You to See

This thread has been a long time coming.

Let's start with a simple fact:

In its 1988 charter, Hamas openly declares itself the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.

So here's the question:
🇺🇸 Why hasn't the U.S. designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a Foreign Terrorist Organization?
Seems obvious, right?

Here’s my answer 👇

If the Muslim Brotherhood is formally labeled a terror group...

➡️ Then CAIR, founded by leaders from the Brotherhood's U.S. network, gets implicated too.

And if CAIR gets implicated…

➡️ Then so do a lot of politicians.

📍And that’s the line no one in D.C. wants to cross.

So instead, the Brotherhood stays "undesignated."
CAIR keeps the civil rights label and keeps its tax advantaged nonprofit status.
And the public is left in the dark.

Patience as I pull the receipts.Image
Image
Image
Image
CAIR was co-founded by Nihad Awad and Omar Ahmad.

Awad was the public relations director for the Islamic Association for Palestine, an organization that was convicted of providing material support for the terrorism in the United States and has since been dissolved. Image
Sorry, it's hard to trace sources - I'm finding out that a lot of the information about Awad and Ahmad are censored. For example, this is Ahmad's Wikipedia page - nearly empty. Image

🧵🇺🇸 THE SHAPERS OF "DEMOCRACY" PT 1: Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (CEIP)

Today we begin a daily deep dive into the historical U.S. nonprofits that claimed to “strengthen democracy” ... and the elite networks, foreign policy moves, and educational agendas behind them.

First up: The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (CEIP), founded in 1910.

Formed by steel magnate Andrew Carnegie, its purpose was to "hasten the abolition of international war, the foulest blot upon our civilization."

Patience as I pull this thread together...Image
Image
Andrew Carnegie (1835-1919) sold the Carnegie Steel Company to JP Morgan in 1901 which catapulted him ahead of the infamous John D. Rockefeller wealth-wise.

In 1899 he published the "Gospel of Wealth" which formed his moral foundation for his philanthropy.
Western history up to this point had been full of idealists claiming to have the solution to solving humanity, from French revolutionaries to British imperialists. All had failed.

Carnegie proposed that the new Industrial Revolution tycoons would solve humanity's problems. Image

🇺🇸✈️💰 Ever wonder who pays for Congressional trips abroad?

This week, a House GOP delegation is heading to Israel. But here's what many don't realize: they aren't paying for their own trips.

There's a charity tied to AIPAC called the American Israel Education Foundation Inc, and according to its own IRS 990 forms, its top priority is funding Congressional trips to Israel.

It brings in $70 million a year.
(EIN: 52-1623781)

I'm not anti-Israel, but I am being skeptical of any foreign-sponsored travel for U.S. officials. Should outside groups be paying for our lawmakers’ overseas trips? Especially if these groups are operating in another country's interests?Image
Image
Here's an example of an ethics form for a sponsored trip. Image
Image
Evidently, House ethics rules do permit you to meet with foreign government officials over the course of a sponsored trip.

Again.

I am not against Israel. I hate Hamas. I just don't think politicians should be involved in ANY sponsored trips that involve state business. Image

🇺🇸💰 Ever wonder why European cities accepted so many refugees?

Today, I'm over my jet lag and processing the documents I scanned this week. Already it's pretty shocking.

The refugee influx into Europe began as a U.S. taxpayer-funded subsidy. The U.S. government literally paid European cities to take them in, using Soros-backed operations like ARC (American Refugee Committee) as the middlemen.

Yes, ARC, co-founded with money from the Soros Humanitarian Fund, was running programs directly for the U.S. government.

It goes even deeper and darker than that. Stay tuned.Image
Image
ARC handled all the logistical needs for IOM including deciding refugee placements and schedules, at least at one point. Image
Even today, there are plenty of financial incentives for European cities to take refugees. The following is a UN-backed initiative (translation: US-backed): Image
