California's Constitution mandates that Congressional districts "shall be drawn to encourage geographical compactness such that nearby areas of population are not bypassed for more distant population."

Here are a few of Gavin's most interesting violations:

CD 50: The neighborhood of Imperial Beach apparently has nothing to do with anything else South County and needs to be joined with a district that includes North County. Image

CD 1 and CD 2 both cover large areas of rural North California but the map makers skip all the nearby rural population in order to go clear down to the Bay Area to split up these community of interests. Image

CD 19 which is a predominately Monterey Bay Congressional District runs down the coast to pull out the rural area of San Luis Obispo County. Image

CD 27 has a nice little appendage at the bottom of its district that has interesting political ramifications. Image

Los Angeles Superior Court allows COVID-19 case against the government to continue.

The court refuses to dismiss Tinhorn Flat’s case that Burbank targeted it because it expressed its opposition to Newsom’s shutdown orders.
This is the third California court in a week that has ruled in favor of We The People and against the government.

California courts are ruling that the government may have overstepped its authority when they followed Gavin Newsom's shut down orders.
1st a court ruled that courts can't sanction a church for refusing to shut down since it was later determined that Newsom overstepped his constitutional authority in shutting down churches.
