The 2025 Fantasy Football Draft Blueprint:

Rounds 1-3: Draft 2 RBs through the first 3 rounds - RB is very top heavy this year with a sharp drop off after the top 12-15 guys

By this point you have an Elite WR and 2 RBs

(cont.)
Rounds 4-6: HAMMER these WRs:

- Davante Adams
- Mike Evans
- Courtland Sutton
- George Pickens
- Jameson Williams
- Tetairoa McMillan
- Calvin Ridley

If one of the big 4 QBs or big 3 TEs drop - pull the trigger
If you don’t get a big 3 TE, WAIT!!

Do not overdraft LaPorta or Hockenson in the 5th/6th round

Instead take Njoku, Warren, Kraft in rounds 8-10.

Same thing with QB, if you’re missing on the elites, just wait and take Dak, Purdy, Fields in round 9+

I researched the LEAGUE WINNING Players in Fantasy over the past 3 seasons…

This will change the way you draft your Fantasy Football team in 2025:
First, it’s important to understand that upside wins championships

Fantasy points follow a power law distribution where the top scorers are worth so much, that the rest of your roster becomes almost insignificant

The RB1 + RB24 combined to outscore the RB7 + RB8… Image
From 2015-2021, and the value over replacement for the RB24 is insignificant…

You can replace that player from the waiver wire fairly easily

TLDR: Drafting for upside is more important than worrying about downside and playing safely…

Hitting on a sleeper pick can change the ENTIRE trajectory of your Fantasy Season

Last year it was:

- Bucky Irving
- Jerry Jeudy
- Baker Mayfield

Here are the Sleepers you NEED to be drafting for 2025:
1. Jaydon Blue (RB, DAL)

- Ambiguous backfield with path to RB1
- Serious pass catching chops
- Speed and vision to make big plays

The Cowboys will have a good offense and Blue has a path to serious snaps

He’s been getting a lot of praise out of camp from HC Schottenheimer
2. Luther Burden III (CHI, WR)

As soon as Burden stepped on the practice field it was all fireworks

Every report is that he looked great and dominated practice

He’s an early second round pick selected by the current regime

Strong praise from HC Ben Johnson

Drafting an Elite TE outside of the early rounds is a Fantasy CHEAT CODE

Last year it was:

- Brock Bowers
- Jonnu Smith
- David Njoku

Here are the TE1s that you NEED to be drafting in 2025:
First let’s look at some data from the last 10 seasons:

43% of TEs to average 13+ PPG were drafted OUTSIDE of the top 6 rounds of fantasy drafts

ADP breakdown:

31.5% drafted rounds 6-9
68.4% drafted rounds 10+

Now, let’s look at archetypes…
Archetype breakdown:

Veteran Value - 31.6%
Breakout - 26.3%
TD Spike - 21%
Rookie - 10.5%
Target Hogs - 10.5%

95% of all these TEs ranked top 2 in targets/game on their team

Drafting an RB1 outside of the first 2 rounds is the fast track to a Fantasy Championship

Last year it was:

- Chase Brown
- Devon Achane
- James Conner

Here are the RB1s that you NEED to be drafting in 2025:
First let’s look at some stats from the last 5 seasons…

43% of RB1s were drafted OUTSIDE of the top 2 rounds of fantasy drafts

ADP breakdown of what round they were drafted:

34.6% drafted rounds 3-4
34.6% drafted rounds 5-8
30.8% drafted rounds 9+

Let’s apply this to draft…
75% of RB1s over the last 5 seasons have been drafted in the first 4 rounds

I’ve been shouting all offseason to LOAD up on RBs in the first 2-3 rounds

And I want to reiterate that here - we can find WR value later in the draft

Now let’s look at archetypes…
