Up to 1,700 National Guard troops will be mobilized from August through mid-November 2025 in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming.
California isn't on this list, but we know the NG and ICE are already in CA!!

JAG (Judge Advocate General's Corps) officers, who are military lawyers, typically prosecute violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) within the military justice system, handling courts-martial for service members.
However, they can also be authorized to prosecute misdemeanors in civilian jurisdictions under specific circumstances.
In August 2025, the Department of Defense sent 20 military JAG officers to Washington, D.C., to assist in prosecuting misdemeanors, authorized by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro.
This action involves temporarily assigning JAG officers to the Department of Justice as special assistant U.S. attorneys.
