I'm reading this and highly recommend. Christopher Steele got such a raw deal, as did all his sources. 1/ Image
People misread the Steele dossier. It's what I'd call "fluid intelligence" that was collected from dozens of sources, all of whom were saying the same thing.

It was collected and reported in the moment, with urgency. The FBI ignored it for months, which helped Trump win. 2/
They should have announced an investigation into Trump's Russian connections before the election, or at least kept quiet about Hillary's emails if they were worried about the Hatch Act. 3/
Steele always wanted his raw intelligence to be investigated, not published. He wanted more eyes on what his sources were reporting, not on the dossier itself. People now call the dossier "hearsay," which is a complete misunderstanding of standard intelligence collection. 4/
Steele certainly didn't want his sources to be outed, have their lives put in danger, and have to go into hiding himself. 5/
But, rather than investigating or protecting sources, the FBI treated the dossier like a time bomb that might upset Trump. Everyone wanted to hide it, aside from a few reporters. 6/
After Buzzfeed published it in Jan. 2017, it was treated like Christians read the Bible--as literal and solid--rather than the fluid, oral espionage product that it always was.

In the former capacity, it could be picked apart and "discredited" for any flaw. 7/
The FBI had accepted hundreds of similar reports from Christopher Steele, who was a highly respected spy in both Britain and the US. He exposed Putin's FIFA corruption. They should have explained his work product. 8/
But, as usual, everyone was more afraid of Trump than of the implications of the dossier. The British Embassy in Washington even briefed Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner before anyone else knew about the dossier. 9/
Meanwhile, the Steeles lost everything. His wife lost her job, and they had to be separated and leave their home for fear of being killed. 10/
I seriously can't put down this book. 11/ amazon.com/Unredacted-Rus…
Wow. Trump owes Christopher Steele $406,000 in court costs for a frivolous case he brought against Steele in the UK.

He has no intention of paying. 12/
I think Buzzfeed's decision to publish the dossier, which was leaked by John McCain's staffer, had terrible ripples that frightened (and injured) everyone.

The Mueller investigation didn't even touch the dossier, as explained.... 13/
in their book: "We would not chase unfounded leads in the infamous dossier."

The FBI dropped Steele and his sources like hot potatoes, with tragic implications.

But the good news is that Steele is still working, though he won't talk to the FBI now, for obvious reasons. 14/
He has uncovered a Russian assassination list for people in the U.S., reports that Russia is engaging in sabotage in NATO countries, evidence that Putin is weaponizing migration through Mexico, and other juicy tidbits, which are revealed in the last chapters. 15/
His understanding of the complex relationship between China and Russia, as played out through the war in Ukraine, is particularly fascinating.

We ignore him at our own peril. 16/

Tulsi Gabbard's allegiance is to her guru, Chris.

Chris's cult is financially connected to a Hong Kong-based company (Qi) that has been charged with fraud.

But his ties to China go back to the 1980s. 1/ Image
Chris Butler was kicked out of high school in Hawaii, but claimed he reached enlightenment by age 20. He also had a (pretty bad) rock band.

Eventually, he joined the Hari Krishnas but got kicked out of there, too. 2/ Image
At the same time, across the world in China, a 16-year-old girl claims she heard his rock music (um.... unlikely) and went to meet him in Hong Kong, and then Manila. Not much is known about her.

But this woman, Zhang Huilan (aka Wana Lai), later became his wife and still is. 3/

I'm reading Gabbard's full 114-page document release. Most of it has to do with U.S. election infrastructure. It also covers the U.S. response to Russian election interference. 👇 1/ Image
Her document release contradicts the claims she's making on TV. It's all about how Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Trump....

She also released the "highly classified" version of this report. 👇

Why? 2/ Image
The "highly classified" version is even stronger in its assessment that Putin wanted Trump as president and that Putin historically favors the GOP. 3/ Image

Tomorrow, Trump is meeting with DRC and Rwandan representatives to sign a "peace plan."

This makes me think of the Minnesota assassin Vance Boelter, who killed two Democratic politicians and has connections with people in the DRC government. 1/
Boelter claimed he was working with "fisherman" on the "Rwandan coast" of the DRC, which must mean along Lake Kivu. 2/ Image
What's interesting is that this is in M23-held rebel territory and a war zone. 3/ Image

Vance Boelter said he decided to go to the Congo after meeting the DRC Ambassador to the United States, Francois Balumuene.

I discovered that they indeed met at this event in Worthington, Minnesota, in December 2018. The Ambassador is on the far right. In the middle is Boelter's friend and "business partner." 1/Image
Boelter's friend Mcnay Nkashama takes people on mission trips to the Congo through his "Global Impact Center." Boelter would later travel with them when he went to preach in the DRC. 2/ Image
In 2018, at the meeting with Balumuene, Vance Boetler discussed possible business opportunities in the Congo, and the ambassador encouraged people to go there. He said he liked Vance's idea. 3/ Image

Not a word from @FBIDirectorKash about the Nazi group here in Washington state who attacked a military base to steal weapons, hitting a soldier in the head with a hammer.

They've been selling military weapons online for years and have a thousand followers on Instagram. 1/ Image
Their business logo is a Nazi symbol. 2/ Image
And they sell gear celebrating war criminals. They are veterans of the elite 75th Ranger Regiment. 3/ Image

This is some of the best intelligence work and reporting I've read in a long time. Elon, of course, doesn't want you to read it, so I'm including a gift link further down so he won't censor it.

These are all Russian spies posing as Brazilians. 👇 Image
They were discovered by U.S. counterintelligence in 2022, back when it wasn't run by Trump's people, who promote Russia.

One of these spies was set to be hired at the ICC, where he could prevent Putin from being accused of war crimes. 2/
They were tracked by the same organization in Brazil that investigated Bolsonaro's coup attempt.

The spies were able to acquire legitimate Brazilian birth certificates due to a loophole in the system.

Then they traveled. 3/
