It’s been 2 years since I brought my first car, Tigor EV. When I bought the car, I got it on 98% funding, and the EMI was around 25% of my salary.

This would have been called the most foolish mistake by the Finfluencer. But here’s what happened in the 2 years & after 25,000 kms, chronologically:

- Brought my new born son home from the hospital in the car.
- Salary went up, suddenly car EMI was 12.5% of my salary.
- Took out my wife and infant child multiple times around the city.
- Enabled wife to go around as she wishes, thereby escaping from the Ola/Uber rouges.
- Travelled across multiple times to temple cities with family, creating memories.
- There was an emergency at home, reached hospital in 7 mins flat.
- Used to go around the city during the night for long drives to make my son sleep.
- Traveled to Tirupati, Kalahasti, Kumbakonam, Vaitheeswaran Kovil.
- Every fortnight visit to Ramanasramam became a reality.
- We were expecting again! Car became very handy and helpful for the regular doctor visits.
- This time, took my wife to the hospital when the labor pain set in.
- Brought my new born daughter home from the hospital.
- Did our first very long distance drive (~500kms in a day) trip.
-Suddenly, car EMI became 6% of monthly salary.

I was very finicky, like everyone else, with respect to car being a depreciating asset. But the truth is, you only get to experience these things once in your life. Your kids will only be young, once in your life. You and your wife will only be young once in your life.

Ensure your daily activities and goals are accomplished in a very smooth non friction manner. In today’s time, being without a car is being subjected to foul mouth on a daily basis. The worst thing is- being dependent on a two wheeler for going around.

A wise man once said: “Eat one meal less, but own a car”- @volklub.

I would add one thing more, “you’ll make more money, and even more than you can even imagine, ensure you give the right experience to all those people who came into this world trusting you, and the one you came into your life trusting you. Do not let them be subjected to the Ola/Uber rouges.”Image
In hindsight, I still feel I should’ve bought Nexon Max for ₹20L; and paid that extra ₹4K EMI. But all is okay, this car’s limitation makes me work had so that I can buy a 7 seater EV with a ₹25L budget :)
The reason I wrote this heartfelt post, was because it has been around 4 days that my car was at the service center for a general service (typical Tata Motors behaviour), and I had to rely on Uber Ola. It took me an hour to get a rickshaw for a ride that was just 15 mins.

I can’t believe I was living good times with my Tigor 😭
@Tataev give me paid post gig for such a good brand promotion🥹

I badly want real estate bubble to crash in India, and especially in Chennai.

In a 4 storey building with a 20 feet approach road, a 3BHk with carpet 900 sqft (super built up 1400 sqft) is being quoted at ₹2.3Cr inclusive everything.

The audacity of the sales person to say “just ₹2.3Cr” got me fuming, asking him what I’m getting for that amount.

It doesn’t even have space for a fire engine to come in easily.

People should realise to not pledge their life to the bank, by buying such mediocre properties. It’s better to put the foot down saying, there’s no value in the project and I’m not gonna shell out a bomb for this sh*t.

There needs to be a @VishalBhargava5 for the Chennai market.
Chennai has a peculiar real estate market wherein there’s a concept of something called as “second hand” flats & new flats.

Anything which is 10+ years old, becomes a second hand flat and the prices will be <40% less than a new flat.

You’d think that people would genuinely prefer an older apartment, right?

Here’s what they did to stop that, and no ones talking about it.
They increased the guideline value of the re sale flat, increased stamp duty and made resale costly for flat owners.

This will make buying older properties unattractive, and people will prefer buying only new ones.

This isn’t an organically demand generated market, post purchasing owners will find it difficult to sell them at profit.

Learn #SubramanyaBhujangam in less than 15 days!

Learning procedure before the thread begins:

Subramnaya Bhujangam is a powerful stotram written by Adi Shankara. When Bhagavtapada had visited Tiruchendur he got the darshan of Subramanya and the words poured out of him, into a beautiful 33 verse stotram.

Benefits of reciting the stotram with faith:
Lord Subramanya will
- Act as armour for you.
- Let no enemies near you.
- Remove all obstacles.
- Give you bliss, health, wealth and happiness.

The way to learn the sloka:
- Consider Adi Shankara as your Guru, pay obeisance to him and start learning.
- I’ll post one verse video with the best pronunciation from the internet so that you can learn easily.
- Now you’d have to listen to 2 verses each day and keep reciting each verse until you get the pronunciation right.
- I’ll highlight the difficult word in the verse and write an equivalent English word just to get your pronunciation right.
- Wherever you’ve doubts, pause the video and play that part again. And recite, do this until you are getting the exact pronunciation.
- Once you learn, if possible as a token of respect donate to a poor Brahmin priest.

13 predictions for the years 2025-2030:

1. Modi becomes President.
2. Yogi becomes PM.

3. Modi as a “President” manages the global brand of India. You’d see the most hands-on President in the Indian history.

4. Yogi as a PM plays to the local sentiment. He develops Bhimrau states.

5. Amit Shah continues as HM. Tightening the screws in the India system. UCC will be implemented post elections.

6. India’s Raw brings democracy in Pakistan & creates a proxy party there. We don’t want a volatile neighbor, while at the same time we don’t want them to be prosperous.

7. Kashi-Mathura liberated. Millions of tourists visit Kashi-Mathura-Ayodhya dham. UP becomes more prosperous than any other state in the country, and starts supplying electricity to neighbor if states.

8. BJP finds inroads into TN by winning municipal elections of Tirunelveli, Kovai, Madurai. Becomes a strong third front with 8-10% vote share. Annamalai creates massive disruption that the next TN CM first goes to temple after taking oath.

9. Personally, my wish is Indian Muslims accept the fact that they’re Indian Muslims and there’s no global Ummah tha they’re part of- this realisation they’ll get after they see Saudi Arabia ditch them entirely and builds a Rām Mandir there.

10. Mumbai finally gets a CEO who takes care of all the bodies- khudai comes down in the city.

11. Sanskrit becomes compulsory in schools.

12. Giving up reservation becomes a people movement.

13. We see more animes from Japan around Hindu epics.
One of the common responses to the above tweet is- point no 6 is too ambitious.

No it isn’t. You know what was more ambitious? Building Rām mandir in India.

Winning over Pakistan is very easy.

1.Isolate the powerful Pakistani Punjabis there.
2. Spend a few million dollars and create a narrative that their race migrated from outside Pakistan and enslaved the remaining castes.
3. Encourage atheism there.
4. Create noise around the atrocities on Hindus there.
5. Make them dependent on you for electricity- directly or indirectly.
6. Prop up an opposition movement to their fascist ISI ruling- like the Anna Hazare movement.

It’s easier to create puppets in Pakistan right now.
People also think Modi wouldn’t become President, because it’s a rubber stamp role.

President is the most powerful person as per the constitution. It’s been a rubber stamp position, because rubber stamp people occupied it, so far.

But, globally the word “President” has a different ring to it.

100% Modi will use it for his global reach.
