As you get closer to highs, drawn down volatility increases.
Sundays are a time when hunters paint the tape up until about 2, squeezing off side, and then puke a large spot into the illiquid market to rinse longs.

You get these drops a few times a week when you get into frothy markets, they’ll range from 2% - 5% wicks on the majors.
Today the DoJ was supposed to send the full Epstein files to Congress.
They didn't.
Instead they released hundreds of redacted pages from Ghislaine Maxwell's filled with lies and more questions.
Here's just the first part as I slog through these documents:

Right off the bat we're told that there was existing conversation prior to going on the record.
While that's not uncommon, it's worth remembering that Todd Blanche is also Trump's former *personal* lawyer and DoJ Deputy, and its *very* odd to have him doing this interview

Maxwell claims she met Epstein in 1991, after the death of her father.
The problem is Epstein's business partner Hoffenberg says Robert Maxwell introduced Ghislaine Maxwell to Epstein in the 1980s.
On Friday, Bloomberg did some great reporting that the DOJ & FBI seem to be *illegally* misusing FOIA exemptions to hide Trump's name in OVER **100,000** pages of the Epstein files.
It gives us new details on the cover-up:

In March, the FBI suddenly moved over 1000 agents from field offices in Washington, and New York field offices, to the Central Records Complex in Virginia for a "temporary assignment"

This 256,000 square foot facility holds more than 2 *BILLION* pages of physical records for the FBI - including the Epstein files.
The dense warehouse has so much physical evidence that it uses ceiling robots to move and store the large crates.
Years ago I worked on helping lobby privacy protecting bills in the EU, Canada and California - and saw first hand what causes this insanity.
It’s not a purposeful ruse or about censorship, it’s about bad policy getting abused.
Most of the time bills that remove privacy are extremely well intentioned.
They are also written by people who are well intentioned, but who are technologically illiterate.
And then they are reshaped by social media lobbyists who are legal-nuance illiterate.

**The UK Version**
The UK version of the law we’re seeing now is “The Online Safety Act of 2023” which came into full effect July 2025 to give companies time to adjust to the new regulation.
