I had to stop going to antiwar rallies when I realized there were 6 libertarians and 6,000 communists and a half dozen foreign agents. Once I realized this, I set out to figure out how it got this way. What I discovered may shock you... 🧵1/12 (+bonus)
In 2007 I started volunteering for Ron Paul's presidential campaign. I was a leader in the 1,000+ strong NYC Ron Paul Tea Party group. We were the #1 Meetup fundraiser for the campaign. Half of the staff left when the newsletters dropped and Paul lost Iowa. I was a little demoralized but I kept at it, pushing Paul in 2012 because the policies were good even if there were some weirdos on the edges that said a lot of decidedly unlibertarian shit. I worked for the Libertarian Party, and then Atlas, and then Fox Business. Made friends with Laura Loomer and a bunch of other people everyone knows. Enemies too. (2/12) youtube.com/watch?v=qcPhEZ…
After working my heart out in 2008, and 12 for Paul. I went on to stump for his son for president, and then when I was exasperated with the direction things were headed on a lark I tossed my hat in for the Libertarian nomination. You all know the rest. Over these years I spent deep in the US liberty movement, doing favors for people, participating in fundraising initiatives. Hell I stood outside a grocery store and handed out petitions to get Libertarians on the ballot in Virginia. One of the funniest things that happened was an IRS agent said if she signed the petition she'd be going against her own interests, wouldn't she? Good point.

I've been to every liberty event there is. Protests, rallies, fundraisers, campaign events. And always was this nagging question in the back of my mind... why is the US liberty movement and its figures so popular with Russian propaganda channels? (4/12)
At first when I went on Russia Today, I saw it as a great opportunity to get some exposure for my ideas and to do battle with the largely commie anchors they had over there. Or just to do my part to ensure the liberty message got out there. The archives are all out there. I pretty much defend everything I said there and had some of my finest moments thrashing the living shit out of that old commie Thom Hartmann. (5/12) youtube.com/watch?v=0sxrgF…
But something was wrong. Why did Russia Today have an interest in not only platforming libertarians as guests, but even give one of us their own show? Adam vs. The Man. It was a sort of a hit for them for a brief period. Adam got knocked out by the cops for dancing at the Jefferson Memorial and it got a lot of press. I booked him on Fox Business to discuss it with Judge Napolitano. I also booked a lot of other prominent libertarians at the time around 2010-12, and I connected libertarians with conservatives like Sarah Palin in order to help both groups try to bridge their ideals. The Tea Party was born. (6/12)Image
It became glaringly obvious around that time that something was up. One American anchor on RT who I also knew quit her job because she felt it was a conflict of interest as a patriotic American. I applauded her. Another anchor there who I knew quit but it was because, even though she was a legit communist, even she could tell that she was being used as a propaganda arm for the Russian state. The first Russian incursion began around that time, approximately 2014. (7/12) youtube.com/watch?v=rE3hGr…
Around this time I was introduced to a man by the name of Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer, author of Operation Dark Heart (a book the Obama administration redacted and destroyed). He introduced me to a concept known as "Active Measures." (8/12) Image
Active Measures is how the Russian government uses disinformation campaigns to essentially lobotomize the American people. Russia Today was only one part of their culture jamming they engaged in. More recently they've gotten into the influencer game. One major stated goal is to spread conspiracy theories amongst the American people (which has gotten more easy than ever thanks to Boomerbook). This isn't new. KGB General Vasili Mitrokhin's book "The Sword and the Shield" revealed how Soviets spread the JFK assassination theories using Active Measures. (9/12)

Russia has a good friend in the circle surrounding Ron Paul, specifically Daniel McAdams who is actively rooting for Russia to win, including and especially in their measures against the United States. McAdams and his band of merry traitors see the US and Israel as the great Satan. The only ideological differences between them and say Osama bin Laden are their preferred religious motives and tactics. The US libertarian movement and now even the conservative movement have been a key ally to Soviet and now Russian operations. (10/12)Image
Whether it was "Oswald was tied to a known CIA agent in Dallas" (Mitrokhin), or that "9/11 was an inside job" (RT) American libertarians have internalized and amplified these Active Measures. Many of them are not doing so because they are bad people. They are good people who, in being misinformed, do bad things. Like many others. (11/12)

In conclusion, the American libertarian movement has been subverted by foreign agencies, and anti American propaganda. Antiwar is a position sincerely held by even a minority of US libertarians, since many cheer for the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Their foreign policy is nearly identical to communist foreign policy (Howard Zinn), when it's not suggesting Osama Bin Laden made good points.

The right libertarians criticize the left libertarians for being woke, and they're right, but they completely miss the irony that their own communistic foreign policy is also "woke," as it fits neatly within the post-modern framework. Leftist or Libertarian? It can be difficult to tell the difference when it has to do with Israel or foreign policy in general. These days I find myself finding more wisdom in foreign policy from the great Americans Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon. I recommend to read more from them if you feel like I do. It's not that there's no conspiracies, it's that the people devoted to conspiracies themselves full time are the biggest pawns in someone else's game.

Many libertarians say I'm a "neocon," but that's because not one knows who the fuck Leo Strauss was, or what Bohm Bawerk discovered, or what Mises thought about immigration, etc. Instead of reading up on Austrian economics, they watched Loose Change version 23.6 and got high instead. I can't be bothered by this any more and I have to forge ahead to create a new libertarian way of thinking in the United States. More Nozick, less Rothbard. Mileism. (12/12)Image
addendum: Thankfully, there's hope. The most popular and most successful libertarian of all time is Javier Milei. His revolution in Argentina has broadened the cracks between Russia and their paid and organic US Active Measures. Milei's pro-US, and pro-Israel especially, stances have broadened support for rational foreign policy views amongst people who adhere to Austrian economic views. Milei may end up saving US libertarianism from itself and the slow collapse into irrelevance its had since 2016.

Javier Milei's Davos speech was a masterclass in advocating for freedom and free markets. He boldly declared the West is in danger from socialism, praised entrepreneurs as heroes, and argued against state control, resonating with many who yearn for economic liberty. Heres's what he said...🧵

Javier Milei, Argentina's President, delivered a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he critiqued several prevailing economic and political ideologies. Here is a breakdown of key points from his speech:

1. Critique of Collectivism and Socialism:
Milei warned that the Western world is in danger because of the adoption of collectivist ideas, which he equates with socialism. He argued that these ideologies lead to poverty and are antithetical to human flourishing.
2. Praise for Capitalism:
He strongly advocated for free-market capitalism, calling it the only system that aligns with human nature and encourages prosperity. Milei highlighted how capitalism has lifted millions out of poverty since the Industrial Revolution.

3. Role of Entrepreneurs:
Entrepreneurs were described as heroes in society, creators of wealth, and pivotal in driving innovation and economic growth. He argued against policies that demonize or hinder entrepreneurial activity.

5 Trump Accomplishments that should earn him libertarian votes: 🧵
1. During his presidency, Donald Trump rolled back over 800 regulations, reducing government intervention and promoting individual freedoms and entrepreneurship. This deregulation helped create a more business-friendly environment.
2. Trump signed the First Step Act, a bipartisan criminal justice reform bill aimed at reducing mandatory minimum sentences and giving nonviolent offenders a second chance. The act prioritized individual liberty and reduced government overreach in the justice system.
3. Trump significantly lowered taxes with the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, cutting corporate tax rates and providing relief to millions of Americans. The move allowed more individuals to keep their income and promoted economic freedom—a core libertarian principle.

I’m 43. I used to think there were no presidents who were really on the side of the people. All the presidents that classes focused on had done great things, won great wars, but most made terrible decisions.

Then I discovered Calvin Coolidge, and he changed my life forever. Here are 7 lessons from one of America’s least studied presidents that will change how you look at history:Image
"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence." Calvin Coolidge taught us that dedication and hard work often outweigh talent or intelligence. Keep going, even when the odds are against you. Image
"Don't expect to build up the weak by pulling down the strong." Coolidge emphasized the importance of merit and hard work. A society thrives when we lift each other up without tearing anyone down. Image

Fighting back against violent leftists before it gets to skateboards vs. AR-15s. Rule 1: Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have.
If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.
Rule 2: Never go outside the experience of your people.
The result is confusion, fear, and retreat.
