I had to stop going to antiwar rallies when I realized there were 6 libertarians and 6,000 communists and a half dozen foreign agents. Once I realized this, I set out to figure out how it got this way. What I discovered may shock you... 🧵1/12 (+bonus)
In 2007 I started volunteering for Ron Paul's presidential campaign. I was a leader in the 1,000+ strong NYC Ron Paul Tea Party group. We were the #1 Meetup fundraiser for the campaign. Half of the staff left when the newsletters dropped and Paul lost Iowa. I was a little demoralized but I kept at it, pushing Paul in 2012 because the policies were good even if there were some weirdos on the edges that said a lot of decidedly unlibertarian shit. I worked for the Libertarian Party, and then Atlas, and then Fox Business. Made friends with Laura Loomer and a bunch of other people everyone knows. Enemies too. (2/12) youtube.com/watch?v=qcPhEZ…

5 Trump Accomplishments that should earn him libertarian votes: 🧵 1. During his presidency, Donald Trump rolled back over 800 regulations, reducing government intervention and promoting individual freedoms and entrepreneurship. This deregulation helped create a more business-friendly environment.
2. Trump signed the First Step Act, a bipartisan criminal justice reform bill aimed at reducing mandatory minimum sentences and giving nonviolent offenders a second chance. The act prioritized individual liberty and reduced government overreach in the justice system.

I’m 43. I used to think there were no presidents who were really on the side of the people. All the presidents that classes focused on had done great things, won great wars, but most made terrible decisions.
Then I discovered Calvin Coolidge, and he changed my life forever. Here are 7 lessons from one of America’s least studied presidents that will change how you look at history:
"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence." Calvin Coolidge taught us that dedication and hard work often outweigh talent or intelligence. Keep going, even when the odds are against you.

Fighting back against violent leftists before it gets to skateboards vs. AR-15s. Rule 1: Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have.
If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.
