The Posture Problem.

Billions have poor posture.

But the typical advice of “stand (or sit) up straight” simply does not work.

Here is how to fix your postureImage
Over 31 million Americans suffer from bad posture, leading to:

• Back, neck and shoulder pain
• Impaired lung function
• Constricted nerves
• Misaligned Spine
• Poor circulation
• Poor digestion
• Headache
• Jaw pain

Let’s fix that:
The Text Neck

Your head weighs around 12lbs.

When you start bending your neck forwards, the stress on your cervical spine increases.

Spending the day hunched over is a leading cause of muscle strain, pinched nerves and herniated disks. Image
How to fix the Text Neck:

1) Elevate your phone to eye level to avoid tilting your head forward

2) Stand upright with your chin tucked in and shoulders pulled back

3) Use an alarm to take periodic breaks from handheld devices Image
Use neck stretches to combat the strain on your spine: Image
The Desk Slump

Over 80% of office workers complain of back pain.

Further, working at a desk can result in muscle and bone imbalances.

Prolonged sitting can also cause physical pain and discomfort plus negatively impacting your posture. Image
How to fix the Desk Slump

Start from the feet and work your way up when assessing your workspace.

1) Feet firmly on the ground

2) Hips back and open (90-110 degrees)

3) Arms at a 90-degree angle and wrists flat

4) Back straight, monitor at eye-level with sufficient distance Image
Consider using a standing desk instead.

You can make one yourself easily and for little cost: Image

Rounded Shoulders

They result from various activities: driving, sitting and standing.

Rounded (or protracted) shoulders can disrupt joint function, limit mobility, particularly overhead, and result in tight muscles and pain in the rib and shoulder blade area. Image

Take regular breaks and go for walks outside

Spending all day in front of a screen is bad for your posture and eyes.

Get fresh air, let your eyes relax and gaze into the distance and use a walk to let your creativity flow.

Aim for 10k steps a day to improve overall health. Image

Most people are unaware that the saying “drink 6-8 glasses of water a day” comes from a 1945 recommendation based on zero medical research.

In reality, proper hydration is much more complex than that.

Here’s how you actually achieve it:

(thread 🧵)Image
First off, drinking 8 glasses of water a day is a recommendation based on zero scientific research.

And yet every summer we are inundated with this myth. This stops today.

Proper hydration relies on this equation: Image
The hydration equation: sodium and glucose in a (minimum) 2:1 ratio.

It activates sodium-glucose transporter proteins which pall water across cell membranes.

You need both electrolytes (sodium) and glucose (sugar) to achieve the proper hydration.

Let’s talk about it. Image

Grounding has shown to decrease inflammation significantly.

🧵: Image
Grounding connects your body to the Earth's natural charge.

In the past, humans stayed in contact with the Earth, but modern life—insulated shoes, high buildings, synthetic surfaces—has disconnected us.

This disconnection may be a cause of chronic inflammation.
How does grounding actually work?

The Earth's surface holds a negative electric charge, replenished by lightning and solar energy.

These electrons act as antioxidants when absorbed through your skin, neutralising free radicals that cause inflammation. Image

Grey hair caused by genetics? Think again.
Grey hair is actually caused by low thyroid and low copper, NOT GENETICS.
Grey hairs increase as we age because thyroid hormone T3 declines with age.

Thyroid hormone can make grey hairs black again.
Thyroid hormone is known as the beauty hormone.

Here's how you increase it.

If you have thyroid issues, you can cure them naturally.

Most thyroid issues are secondary to other problems. Thus, if you find the root cause—there is a cure.

Here are the absolute best ways to heal your thyroid and boost T3 levels.

Check Thread 👇 Image
The thyroid is a small, butterfly-shaped gland in the front of your neck.

There are two types of thyroid problems:

• Hypothyroidism
• Hyperthyroidism

Hypothyroidism is the underproduction of the thyroid hormones. Hyperthyroidism is the opposite—overproduction... Image
From my experience treating thyroid issues, the common symptoms are:

• Fatigue
• Dry skin
• Tiredness
• Puffy face
• Depression
• Constipation
• More sensitivity to cold

Today, many people have thyroid problems, but these are often secondary to other issues. Image

Almost 50% of the population experiences GERD / reflux symptoms

Yet most of what we’re told about it is wrong

Here’s what really causes these issues and how to resolve them

Check Thread 👇 Image
Most traditional healthcare professionals will tell you that reflux / GERD is from too much stomach acid

They’ll probably prescribe PPIs and send you on your way

But when you actually understand the issue you’d realize too much acid isn’t the problem at all Image
Why would we be lied to about this?

Well with almost half the population struggling with this, the pharmaceutical industry makes over $14 BILLION annually from PPIs that are prescribed

Since PPIs do nothing to resolve the issue (more on that later), they have customers for life
