If you take a step back, that means a senior CDC official was unwilling to even look at the data they had on the relationship between vaccines and autism. These are the type of people who've told us for decades vaccines are 1000% safe despite being willfully ignorant of the data
Likewise, at the recent ACIP meeting, the CDC stated they know the COVID vaccines are 100% safe, but admitted they have no way to track chronic COVID vaccine complications. At 3:00:00, in response to being asked "how are you monitoring long term side effects" they stated:
"But I think with relation to how are we thinking going forward about our safety and is it well adapted to the situation. I think we feel very confident in our safety systems in the US. We have one of the best safety systems in the world. But we are continuing to think through ways of how to improve them.
And I think one thing you're getting at is our ability to monitor long-term outcomes of vaccination. And obviously that's very difficult. the longer you get out from vaccination, the more you can introduce confounding infections or other things that are unrelated to the vaccine and the in the ability to tease out vaccine versus other effects becomes much more challenging. But I think we would welcome input from the committee on um you know how to how to better do that."

Everyone tells us vaccines are safe and effective yet they go hysterical if they are asked to provide even the evidence to prove that. Consider Bernie Sanders' announcement he was going after RFK over this, and how many times he cultishly praised vaccines
