The Vedas are the oldest scriptures of mankind, timeless sources of spiritual, scientific & cosmic knowledge.

Let’s explore the Rig, Yajur, Sama & Atharva Vedas - the foundation of Sanatan Dharma. 👇

1️⃣ Rig Veda – The Veda of Praise

The oldest of all 4 Vedas
Contains 10,552 mantras across 10 Mandalas
Filled with hymns to Agni, Indra, Surya, Varuna
Focus: Divine praise, cosmic order, and spiritual invocation
➡️ The very heartbeat of Sanatan Dharma

2️⃣ Yajur Veda – The Veda of Rituals

Name means "sacrifice / worship"
Divided into Shukla & Krishna - Yajurveda
Contains 1975 mantras in 40 Adhyayas
Gives instructions for Yajnas, rituals, and devotion
➡️ Teaches how to channel divine energies into earthly harmony

3️⃣ Sama Veda – The Veda of Melodies

Called the storehouse of chants
Only 1549 mantras, but all set to musical notes
Basis of Indian classical music & devotional chanting
Shri Krishna said Gita: “Among the Vedas, I am Sama Veda”
➡️ The sound current that connects soul with cosmos

4️⃣ Atharva Veda – The Veda of Chants & Spells

Collection of spells, charms, prayers & healing hymns
5977 mantras in 20 Kandas
Focuses on knowledge, deeds, and invocation
Deals with medicine, health, protection from evil & success in life
➡️The practical science of Sanatan wisdom

Each Veda is divided into 4 parts:

1. Samhitas – Hymns
2. Brahmanas – Rituals
3. Aranyakas – Theologies
4. Upanishads – Philosophical truths

Together, they cover every aspect of human life - from cosmic worship to daily conduct.

🌏 Why are the Vedas eternal?
Because they are not just scriptures, but vibrations of the cosmos captured in sound (Shruti).

They are the DNA of Dharma – guiding humanity in science, art, philosophy, music, health & spirituality. 🪷
