The concept of "the one" in love relationships is largely a White invention. While most nons have a concept of love that's rooted on pragmatism, the idealization or maybe that idea of having a strong connection with a person, based on the individual is strictly white.

I'm talking about a love that's not conditioned in collectivism, a love that's based on a non coerced choosing of the other person and emotional exclusivity. And no, it wasn't created by Arabs, in the Middle Ages or some other retard stuff the left loves to parrot.

We have one of the best and earliest examplies in the Odyssey, with Penelope and Odisseus. All the landmarks of what we call romantic love in the White sense of the word are already there.

While the Odyssey is fictional, it's indicative that this very idea of love was already there in Ancient Greece. Same with Plato's Symposium: Aristophanes and Socrates speeches point at a very similar idea of romantic love as we know it in the modern West.

The idea of "the one" has been distorted and demonized by the Jewish controlled establishement to erase social cohesitivity amon Whites. In practice, the idea of "the one" wasn't just your typical emo poet wet dream. Many times, it was just for the show.

Think "Pride and Prejudice". The idea of the one is way more realistically presented here. A person that reveals to you slowly, layer by layer, as you know him/her. Smaller cities and towns usually favored few people meeting the one in their childhood years or early teens.

That's why a lot of people, guys and gals, miss "the one that got away" from their school years. Because they saw this person, usually on their teens, raw, direct, all his/her warts visible. Usually, that relationships are among the most lasting ones, if they are succesful.

So the couple grew up together and faced challanges that made them become whole, not just as a couple, but as individuals. Jewish propaganda has convinced people that you should endlessly date and sleep in order to "grow".

People grow for sure, but as they date and have sex more, they get increasingly jaded. So it's harder to bond with someone. It happens to both men and women; both hoes and fuckboys are deeply unhappy after years of refusing to compromise.

In short, the One is the person that resonates with you, that sees you as a whole and has no problem with your quirks and annoying habits; there could be different ones, not just a single person.

In non white cultures, most relationships are subject to the collective. People marry for social expectations, and sometimes the couple hates each other but learn to tolerate themselves because there's no option.

Idealization of your significant other isn't inherently bad, the thing is, idealization must be realistic, something that could only happen when you have a clear mind, when you aren't tainted with many failed relationships.

Romantic love as a White concept is based in seeing yourself in another person. A reflection of you, even your flaws. That's peak individualism; it may pass as egotism in other parts of the world, but that's the way it is.
