What i find funny on these subreddits is how some Mexicans get too attached to their results like they're set in stone, when they are just estimates due to limited reference samples, algorithm changes and flawed methodologies.
I've seen blatant criollos, castizos and harnizos labeled as having less white blood than they have, especially in sites like Ancestry. And on the contrary, blatant harnizos and mestizos labeled as castizos on 23&me. It can be pretty inconsistent

Globalization scare by leftists in the 90s was a meme. It failed. Biospirits are so strong that every "global" stuff you introduce locally or regionally, gets transformed and it's appropriated by natives of that said place to the point it loses its original flavor.
But we have also to remember that leftists cry of erasing of native cultures by the evil globalization forces, when it's convenient, but at the same time take pride when such "global" phenomenons develop their own ethnic form.
