None of the grief, anger, fear, or resolve you are feeling after the assassination of Charlie Kirk will make a long-term difference if the Left still controls institutions and the bureaucracy and the Democrat Party is still powerful. Be ready to march on the ballot box.
Nothing that's happened so far has taught Democrats any lessons or convinced them to moderate their behavior. They're already returning to eliminationist, Nazi, and "resistance" rhetoric a week after they inspired a murderer. This party cannot be reformed.
Democrat media is already trying to write a new narrative that the killer and his boyfriend were the real victims here, tragic star-crossed lovers driven to extremes by the homophobic, transphobic, everything-phobic conservative society Charlie Kirk represented.
They'll vomit up a few thousand more gallons of toxic "both sides do it" sludge and call it a day. They'll count on your sadness and anger fading, and trust their machine to carry them through the election on a tidal wave of dark money.
Brace yourself for Dems to post some huge fundraising hauls as they actively campaign on the Right unfairly persecuting lefties for celebrating Kirk's murder. Every group in the trans fascist power structure will be tapped for every dollar it can give.
What about all those young people checking out Turning Point and becoming inspired by Kirk as they learn more about him? The Left will trust the radical madrassas known as "universities" to take care of that. They will go to work on your kids with brainwashing power tools.
So far, you've put the radical Left and the Democrat Party, which is the political wing of domestic terrorist organizations, on the back foot for a week or two. You haven't really threatened their power or money yet. Nothing else matters much in the long run.
The Left can retreat into the fortress of its institutional power - absolute control of schools, the media, foundations - for a few months. You have them under siege right now, but you haven't launched any trebuchet boulders at the walls of their castles yet.
