LGBTQ+ people, Catholic and otherwise, are humans not an issue.
“Consignment of LGBTQ+ people to literally deadly second class membership in church and state will continue as it is.”
Cause nothing says “respect, compassion, & sensitivity” like firing celibate gays (and single pregnant teachers). What Jesus would do, right?
“Homosexual orientation” isn’t sinful. So they permit & encourage celibate priests & nuns who teach all prohibitions to admit they have it —combatting shame & despair of gay Catholics & challenging vicious & vile language of hateful Catholics. Oh, wait….
And nothing says opposing “unjust discrimination” like attacking and politically advocating against
equal civil rights of LGBTQ + citizens in a country of supposed freedom of religion.
As with Francis, kinder and gentler homophobia and transphobia are still homophobia and transphobia. Which still traumatize and kill.

Thanks so much everyone! Overall great experience considering sitch. High level breast center in larger cancer center means fully coordinated & rapid treatment plan with host of resources.
Biopsy Wednesday, diagnosis via GP Thursday, prompt return call & booking at their weekly 3 hour clinic with 4 patients seeing rich rotation of providers with business cards for more:
Medical oncologist & breast surgeon are fantastic. Radiation
oncologist…definitely not. “Stay off the internet & obey doctors silly girl.” Also extremely & mixed quality holistic. I love judicious holistic & center has a great department.

@GovWhitmer step up & protect Michiganders, especially trans ones, by saying & following through analysis of laws is to legally challenge the numerous deadly unconstitutional ones not just “we will follow all laws.”
@dananessel step up and promise & prioritize & follow through with analysis discovering & taking action against every unconstitutional law. Unconstitutional deadly laws are hate crimes & you break it if you obey instead of resisting.

Ascension health system, which keeps gobbling up smaller hospitals—frequently closing maternity departments & worsening deserts—cites Catholic teaching to justify forcing a husband to drive a bleeding out miscarrying woman to an ethical hospital with a *bucket & towels*.
A systematic, not exceptional, denial of care, they call “religious freedom.” Because they answer to a “higher authority” than laws & official health care agencies protecting citizens from dangerous malpractice violating professional standards of care. 1)
Many non Catholic women are forced to deliver in them because of ever increasing maternal (& other) health care deserts. Especially if they are Black, low income, and/or marginalized in other ways. 2)

I wish my brother Joe took his Catholic faith more seriously. Like devout Methodist Hillary Clinton expressing her faith by advocacy for women & children he’s the actual impressive Christian in/should have been in Oval Office. 1)
Taints good legacies by violating Constitution, Church teachings, & human decency with 3 needless hence unjust executions, i.e murders. Especially Dylann Roof, whose judge refused competency & informed consent hearing to self represent despite major mental illness indications.2)
While bizarrely continuing to insist the federal death penalty must be totally abolished. 3)

Crucial information about prosecutorial conduct secretly bargaining away far greater & actually illegal failures by Ethan Crumbley’s school than his parents. 1/
Changed my mind. Even more so: obvious in charging & sentencing him as an adult at 15 while charging parents for failure to restrain a minor child. 2/
School officials were the ones that kept Ethan in school & told parents to go back home after numerous red flags that day. 3/
